Dr. Scott C Farner

After experiencing a painful and twisting of my left knee I found I could not put any weight on that leg. Had to call family and be transported to the hospital via ambulance. I had to be referred to an orthopedic doctor and Dr Scott Farner was that doctor. I found him to be very pleasant and helpful .. he joked with me about fearing a steroid shot as a first treatment.. When he personally gave me that shot he was very professional and understanding. When I went to his office for a follow up call the staff was very nice and Dr Farner was encouraging and informative on what my knee situation actually calls for.. easy to understand and helpful. Dr Farmer operates on my husbands hand and he did a great job. Definitely one of the best doctors in Louisville!

I fell and broke both bones in my wrist and one in my hand. After surgery by Dr. Farmer and rehab. I am back playing the piano and enjoying everything I did before the fall. I could not have asked for more.

He worked wonders on my crushed wrist. He came very highly recommended by other orthopedic doctors.

My daughter Burnt her hand pretty bad so she was referred to Dr Farner to be honest I wasn't looking forward to it after reading everyone else's reviews however it was the total opposite he had the best personality he played with my daughter and was very informative to me as well to how I need to treat her wounds. He even offered to try and find us another Dr closer to us because it is a 4 hour drive to see him. All around I really liked him.

My daughter was injured at work. When her nerve test came back normal, he seemed to get a really bad attitude towards us. I had to ask him to put her off work because her injury doesn't allow her to use her hand. He wasn't going to do it and he told us it was because it wasn't workman's comp. Really, she was injured at work. I was floored, insulted. I will not be returning. We have chosen to use her father's insurance who is a vet to insure the best care possible for her. Awful doctor.

Dr. Farner's table side manner leaves much to be desired. A fellowship candidate did the actual physical exam. Then in walked Dr. Farner. He seemed in a hurry and did not explain very well at all what the procedure entailed. He injected both wrists and then gave me a brace to wear for 6 weeks. He made me feel stupid when I asked questions and in general seemed put out. 6 weeks later my wrist was not any better and I went to see Dr. Nicoson. Dr. Nicoson was awesome and able to help me.
