Dr Dulebohn has to be the complete package as a surgeon and an understanding man. He answered all questions I’ve had and he and his staff are very through with patient care.

I had surgery in October 2020 when Dr. Dulebohn and his team removed a 2cm meningioma that was compressing my spinal cord in my throciac spine, after spending years going to other specialists I finally had answers to why I had to use a walker, now using a cane thanks to Dr. Dulebohn and his staff.

Do your research before you let this man touch you. He’s extremely rude, uncaring and has horrible sterile technique. He screams at his staff, talks about his overweight patients and is always hateful

My Dr consulted them on Monday, no call to me all week. Tried to call them today (Friday)at 4.15 and they were closed already even though the website stated 4.30 as closing time. ????☹

I had a Medtronic spinal cord stimulator implant put in my lumbar in 2019. Dr. Dulebohn done my surgery and the implant does help with my pain. I had C5 C6 disc fusion in 2020 Dr. Dulebohn done that surgery. I trust and respect him would recommend him to anyone who needs a top rate neruologist. He is a excellent Doctor.

Best neorosurgeon ever

Dr. Dulebohn did a cervical fusion of c5-6-&7 on me in 2001. He came in to check on me about 7:30pm, after surgery earlier in the day and took me for a walk around the hospital. This happened in my hometown of Duluth, mn. And to this day if I need any additional surgery that dr D. could do, I will go to wherever he may be.

Had surg a lil ovr a yr ago, asked about a fusion, he sd no tht I ddnt nd. Sent me to Pulmanary dr n he says theyd have to go up on my stomach bc of other surgeries, aftr the dr. Asked who had done my previous surgeries and if they had helped or made worse I explained to him everything he had asked and he gets smart with me and tells me I need to find another neurosurgeon so I go to see Dr dulabon the very next day and neither one of the doctors had taken my weight either day he tells me that we have 3 problems one being that I smoke 2 that I had 5 surgeries through the front of my pelvis and last but not least that I weigh too much funny thing is my neighbor had the exact same Fusion done in the exact area he wanted to do the surgery she smokes n weighs more than me and she smoked before during and after the surgery and he still did her surgery and he also informed me the pulmonary doctor had called him after my appointment the day before the only thing that me and all the other doctors I have can come up with it he told Dr dulabon that I was bad-mouthing him and putting him down and he was afraid that I was going to come up with a lawsuit so I would not go to tht doctor for anything he was in with Steve Hamel that messed me up to begin with in 2010 my point being if I was not too heavy in 2015 AND I have lost weight since then why is he coming up with i weigh to much now? My advise is DO NOT use this doctor! He's out for th $ or he'd done th fusion when I asked about it..nahhh 8mnths ago u ddnt nd th fusion BT NOW YOU DO?! Comin frm a Dr w a beer gut too! I sd ok, what do i nd to weigh to gt it done? He had NO ANSWER for tht! DON'T GO TO HIM FOR ANYTHNG! There was so many ppl in th waiting rm tht he'd messed somthn up on it was insaine! We were referred to this group after a hospital stay at Franklin Woods. 1st visit the doctor agreed with the hospital diagnosis.2nd visit - did not see the doctor but a PA who disagreed with the doctor. only saw dulebohn for about 10 seconds to confirm that the actual doctors agreed with the hospital diagnosis. had a procedure to attempt to correct the problem and again was unable to see the actual doctor but the PA came in and basically diagnosed everything from epilepsy to Alzhiemers, said it " could be many things ".Note to the PA - leave the diagnosis to the real doctors. what a nightmare !!!!! if I was not confused before , I certainly am now . In my opinion, Dr. Dulebohn should be titled the Butcher of Ballad Health. If you have been referred to him for surgical consult, I would strongly advise you ask for a referral to one of the other six neurosurgeons in our area. This man is over 60, temperamental, lacks compassion, and in my opinion unethical and lacks veracity when making medical notation. Avoid this surgeon if at all possible. . This Dr replaced 2 discs in my neck, turned out great. A couple years later I needed 2 discs replaced in my lower back (l-4 & l-5).he sent me home after the surgery. 2 days later I had a terrible headache, the 911 operator said I needed to go to the hospital immediately. The rescue squad transported me and it was discovered I had spinal fluid leakage. The Dr opened me back up. Sent me back home after a few hours. Again I have a bad headache and the diagnosis was spinal fluid leakage again. For the third time he opens me up but this time took a large portion of fat from my stomach to wrap my spine in order to stop the leak. Still having problems standing, walking, sleeping so he informed me the two discs above have now gone bad. I INFORMED HIM THE NEXT TIME HE CUTS IN ME WILL BE MY AUTOPSY. I'm in worse shape now .. Most folks have the right to a second opinion, and if you've been referred to Dr. Scott Dulebohn for surgical consult, you're definitely going to want a second opinion. Here's my two cents. The man needs to retire from surgery. Every morning I'm reminded just how inept this man is as a surgeon as I watch my beloved struggle in pain as our nightmare after surgery with Dr. Dulebohn continues. I care about you my Appalachia Neighbor, and I know you're reading reviews regarding this surgeon because more than likely you or a loved one has a surgical need and you wish to know the experience of others. Our experience is a nightmare still ongoing . Do yourself a favor, avoid this Sawbones. Avail yourself instead of an opinion from Blue Ridge Neuroscience or East Tennessee Brain & Spine. If your referring physician has already charted a course for you to see this surgeon, you can simply have that changed with a phone call. Doing so may save yourself or your loved one. Saw provider all staff was respectful and knowledgable. Explained everything and had surgery. All was great. In recovery. :)

Dr. Dulebohn and his team are highly recommended to my family my husband surgery's were flawless and he is doing great

Had Neuro Surgery, on my neckThis doctor is fantastic, I recommendation him to everyone, with little,to NO PAIN AFTERWARDS. Everyone there is really nice and seems to know a whole lot. The PAs are all amazing and very nice and professional. Dr Dulebohn is an amazing surgeon and always does a good job. I would always highly recommend this group for any neurosurgery needs.

The practice of medicine is as much a humanity and art as it is a science. Dr. Scott Dulebohn brings all three to bear in his practice of medicine. Dr. Dulebohn's a highly competent, well spoken, well trained surgeon with a vast array of experience and a knife hand that's spot on Doc is also an excellent teacher and he and his team excel in assisting patients through patient education, which goes a long way when you're hurting and need to understand what's wrong Dr. Dulebohn's caring demea

My husband had cevical surgery on July 17th. Dr. Dulebohn performed the procedure. He carefully explained what he would do and what to expect post operatively.He was friendly and professional.

Dr. Dulebohn & his staff were warm and friendly. Things were always explained to me in terms I understood. They took their time and answered ALL my questions. They were kind and professional. Prior to surgery, Dr. Dulebohn carefully explained what he would be doing during the surgery and what I could expect post-surgery relative to pain and recuperation. . My surgery was 6 months ago and I am pleased with how my back feels. My only mistake was not seeking out Dr. Dulebohn at an earlier date
