Dr. Scott Blomberg

Dr. Blomberg has seen me and my family for numerous years. He is a kind doctor who has always treated us with care. I would recommend him without reservations.

Smart, likeable doctor with a good grasp of his field and excellent "eyeside" manner (I don't know what to call it when it's an optometrist, but he makes the examinations go by alright).

Dr. Bloomberg is always in a great hurry and spends no more than 4-5 minutes on patients. I told him repeatedly that my eyes are sensitive to eye drops. First he gave me 0.02% Brimonidine solution on 10/17/2019, but told me that once you start the drops you can not stop. So I did not start the drops. On my next appointment on 02/13/2020, I repeated the same about sensitivity. He gave 0.2% solution (1000% higher conc.) without even looking back. The solution caused pain and blurring. So I called and complained. His nurse Ryan told me to put Systane Balance lubricant which I did. It did not work. I called again. He never answered in person. Instead told me to see Dr. Fahad Khan whom I did not even know. He is inconsistent. During my first visit on 10/17/2019, he told me that I am not ready for lens implant, then on 2/13/2020, he told me that I am ready and he repeated that at least 3 times. I had not seen much change in my eyesight. How can I spend time talking to him, when he is always in a rush to go to next patient. I have discontinued Systane eye drops because they too cause problems. He never cared to see that he had prescribed 0.02% solution in Oct 2019 and then prescribed solution 1000% higher in strength inspire of my repeated reminders. He deserves ZERO STAR RATING. I see changes in my eyesight several times a day and he was careless in not paying attention to what I was telling him.
