Dr. Alavi and his staff are absolutely amazing!! I felt comfortable and welcomed the second I walked in for my consultation. They’re not pushy and do not make it feel like a business deal. The whole process from the beginning to the end was great. I had other consultations elsewhere and the atmosphere was cold and didn’t feel right so I’m thankful I chose to keep looking. I’m 2 weeks post op from my breast augmentation and I feel and look amazing, with no scarring! Dr. Alavi is very precise with his incisions and will tell you he is OCD which is great for these types of procedures. I literally can’t say enough about dr Alavi and his staff.. I felt like I had known them forever. They truly care about their patients and their needs/wants/concerns. I highly recommend them!! I’ve already referred a few friends.

I’m so glad I chose to have my chin liposuction with Dr. Alavi. My double chin had been a reason for lacking self confidence for many years-despite being at a healthy weight. I had consults with three different offices before I met Dr. Alavi. Although a very minor procedure, for me it was a huge deal. I didn’t want to feel unseen or sense the lack of acknowledgment I felt at other offices. The process from check in to check out was professional, and there was a heartfelt, kind, and genuine energy in the office. I plan to have more done in the upcoming years, so this was very important to me. I wanted to meet a doctor I trusted and was actually able to meet in person pre-op. The fact that already have had an initial consult, pre-op, post-op, and check up- and still have one upcoming- gives me such peace of mind. I trust that he truly cares about his patients and the outcome of his work. ????

Doctor Alavi is AWESOME. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction on my back and I am impressed and beyond happy with the results. I really like the honesty and the way they explain all the information of the procedures. I highly recommend Center for Cosmetic Surgery.

They do not contact you back despite their website saying "we promise to contact you back within 24 hours" I have sent a consultation request and 2 emails and have not heard from them.

He ruined my eye sight with lower lid surgery that I did not sign up for and was not ready. Threw that offer in at the last minute when I arrived for another surgery and wanted me to make a decision at 6AM when I'm still asleep. Lost vision in my eyes and had to get stronger glasses , over 1.0!

I am SO incredibly thankful for Dr. Alavi and his team. I am beyond pleased with my breast augmentation but even more importantly, their care was exceptional. Leslie was incredible to work with and the rest of the office was so pleasant. I’m forever grateful!

Booked an appt with the breast augmentation special. Waited for 2 weeks for my appt, left work early for my appt at 4pm. Showed up 30 mins ahead of time to be early and fill out paperwork. I was fine that I didn’t get taken back at 4pm because I work in healthcare and understand it gets busy. Meanwhile I’m waiting this girl comes in stating she’s here for surgery.. I was confused because she said it was with the same doctor all of these consultations were suppose to be seeing. It made me worry that if he’s in surgery, and leaving the surgery to go do consultations, he would do the same for me or anyone else. Leaving and coming back during a surgery like that is not only dangerous but also a higher risk for infection. It’s a risk of cross contamination and just very unsanitary. It was 4:25 and I was still waiting, at 4:30 I finally get called back and told he’ll come in in 10-15 mins, and I got handed a book of before and after results. I didn’t receive and cover or wasn’t told to take off my top so I would be ready for him to see what I have and what results I’m looking for. Another 25 mins go by and it’s now 4:55, I decided at this point this whole hour after my appointment was a waste of my time. I decided to walk out and leave, immediately after I walked out they call me saying we’re so sorry and now we’re ready for you. I decided to not go back and waste more time. I can’t speak on any results that the doctor may or may not give, but waiting that long for a consultation is beyond unprofessional and ridiculous. I had a wonderful experience!

It has been over 13 years since I gave up my body to have my 3 kiddos. I was once a size one, but of course that was no longer my goal now. I had 3 c-sections leaving me with excess skin and a 3 finger muscle gap. I was over 167 pounds and lost it while going on a healthier diet. I was down to 130 pounds but my lose skin was in the way. No matter what exercises I did it was just impossible to get rid of. I went to 3 other doctors who were either after my money with no intent of giving me the results i wanted or they denied me and stated it was impossible to do. Why? I have no idea. Then my friend who previously got work done here kept pushing me to see Dr Alavi. I'm glad I gave in and went to see him. The whole staff was so sweet and kind, very professional and very attentive. They weren't just after my money I'll tell you that much. He told me straight forward what I needed to hear as well as what I wanted to hear. I am now over a month post op and I feel great. My healing process wasn't too bad at all. I didn't need any pain medications whatsoever and I had no complications. My scar is looking amazing and although I am still swollen and I wont see final results till at least 6 months; I must say I love myself again. I love how I look and feel. My experience with Dr.Alavi and his staff was one of the best I’ve ever had. As someone with a pear shape I’ve always been incredibly envious of women with an hourglass figure. I was unfortunately blessed with little to nothing up top. Dr.Alavi fixed this for me! I’d never had to undergo any type of surgery before but he& his staff went over every detail with me, making sure to do all they could to help me feel more comfortable. They were always quick to help me with any questions and all my appointments have been 100% positive experiences. Dr. Alavi is amazing!! I got a rhinoplasty and it looks super natural and beautiful. I love my results and how I had little to no bruising. I was back at work a week later. He is an almost 2 hour drive from me, but I do not mind at all because him as well as his staff is great. I have had a few procedures done by various doctors, and no one has been more professional and transparent about the process than Dr. Alavi. From my initial liposuction consultation, to the surgery and the post-op. Dr. Alavi and his lovely staff made me feel at ease throughout the whole process and were the most thoughtful and caring. 3 years later and I still absolutely love my results. I had a breast augmentation and my scarring is almost nonexistent, and my results are unbelievably natural looking. I opted to go under the muscle. Could not be more pleased. The staff was fantastic as well!

Not the best work

Was recommended to come here for breast augmentation and I'm so glad I did! The process was simple and I was never pressured in to getting something I didn't feel comfortable with like others have done, they were very reasonably priced and addressed all of my concerns and stresses. It's been roughly 6 months since my surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results, as far as scarring goes, one side is almost invisible and the other is slightly more visible however I was recommended a great silicone scar gel and it's been making a huge difference. I have 0 complaints, they staff are knowledgeable, the anesthesiologist was above and beyond great, everyone was very friendly and his skill as a plastic surgeon really shines. If you're looking to get in keep in mind he's fairly booked out so it may take some time for the free consultation but after that it went real quick. I had surgery by this man about 7 years ago. I lost over 130 lbs. He ended up giving me a discount because of losing the weight on my own. The after care treatment was horrible I got one phone call to check in after. I had an issue with my stomach filling up with fluid. He was annoyed of the situation. When I came in to have it drained, I kid you not! He took a syringe about the thickness of a pen jabbed it into my stomach. No numbing or anything. Drained my stomach and sent me home. I did not hear from them again after that. Once I was fully healed I noticed I have lumps throughout my mid section and my scar looks like I bitten by a shark. I'm embarrassed to take my shirt off in public. Every time I do I can see people staring at my mid section. I would advise looking to somewhere else. I have epilepsy and result of that a generator implanted under the skin over my chest muscle. Dr. Alavi Sassan did a good job on my breast augmentation, but my rhinoplasty did not turn out the way I pictured or wanted. The reason I gave a two stars is that I paid him $1200 to fix my deviated septum (which was brought up last second before I headed into surgery), and then he never fixed. I am in the military and by the time my nose fully healed I was moved to another duty station and was unable to address being robbed by him. He is a good doctor, but be careful to ensure that you are getting everything that you paid for. If you’re wanting to waste hours of your day, waiting to have your appointment... THIS is the place to go. My appointment was at 11:15, I finally got taken back to the room 45 minutes later and then by a the grace of God, I saw the provider 80 minutes later. I talked of another woman as we both overwaiting for our appointments and we both agreed - a place like this that can’t seem to handle the flow of patients and treats people more like a number, is NOT the surgical center you want to trust your body with. My appointment should have taken 20 minutes at the most but in total, my total wait time BEFORE I saw the Provider was 80 MINUTES. No joke. Had lipo...it was horrible. I looked deformed. I wrote a bad review and they offered to "fix" my multiple bumps they left me with. So I changed the review. Went and did the "fix" surgery. After that Dr. Alavi basically told me it was my fat that made making me look good. He said it was like concrete and just too hard to lipo. I still have very weird rolls and this pudge above my belly button that he clearly did not touch. He basically caused me to be deformed. I really regret ever walking into his office. Got breast augmentation 1 month ago, and in in love with them. They still have to settle but he did an amazing job. The only reason they dont get 5 stars is because they leave you waiting for a while before he actually sees you. Other than that i had an amzing experience. Everyones kind and friendly.

My facelift is now a year old and I’ve never been happier. The price was very reasonable and Dr. Alavi is fantastic! Remember, following the instructions are crucial for quick healing!

Dr. Alavi and staff was AMAZING! I did a ton of research, because I had a complicated case. (One breast being larger then the other due to breastfeeding.) He performed a breastlift & Augmentation and I cannot get over how amazing the results came out. My breast are now symmetrical! His work was amazing. The incisions he made are bare minimal. It's been one month, and you can barely see the scars. The staff is so caring. The Anesthesia Nurse, Carol, went above and beyond. She followed up before and after my procedure. I should have made this review years ago and I regret not doing so now. I’m not sure who he pays to provide such good reviews but I assure you he did nothing but damage to my body. I had a “mommy makeover” done and I wish I would have saved my money to go to a REAL BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON not someone who falsely advertises or leads you on to think they are. Please do your homework. My stomach was better when I had a bit of stretched skin than to not only have stretch marks still but now two flaps (one on each hip). He said he would fix it under “local anesthetic”. NOPE! Please do not go to him. For my breast augmentation I asked for a small “D” big “c” and I ended up with “DDD”. Yes you read that right. I ended up gaining weight due to the anxiety around what horrible job was done and I HATE being in a any sort of bathing suit. One year ago I got my breast implants and a year later had twin babies and I was fully able to breast-feed and hadn’t zero complications and I am so happy with the way they have turned out. I would highly recommend him I have had friends go to him and he is just a great doctor

First of all I want to state I am not receiving any discounts or money for this review... For my entire life have had issues with my lips curling inside of my mouth instead of curling out. I was able to have a consultation for injections and receive the injections the same day. The doctor was very honest about what he would recommend and what my options were. He explained to me where he would do the injections and explained why...basically reversing the curl. He was able to do this without any type of surgery! I can write a book and show pictures before and after and show pictures of all my emails! Had surgery 7/3/18 mommy make over? Let’s start with I Believed many of the reviews! FALSE! False!!! I should of listen to my husband go with someone local! I didn’t do my long long review will be short, I don’t want to waste my breath or time anymore on this. After my surgery a week later I kept complaining my left side hurts a lot, it’s different ...NO NOOO it will get better. A month later total signs of a capsular contraption. He kept ignoring me. Went to see him 2 different times and I live 10 hours away for the same issue. Finally did what I should of done from the beginning went to another surgeon, they said I had an infection, they gave me antibiotics and started feeling better after that infection. It was clear as glass I formed a capsular contraption. Then he wanted to charge me another 4K to REVISE what was clear from day one an issue. Since he did it I felt it would be right for me to go back to him. I made a HUGE MISTAKE, I was talked to like I was ignorant, he basically kept talking over me and belittle me. The local surgeon I saw in my hometown was very professional and he tried not to bad mouth him, he was very professional and he said, I would correct this issue at no charge for my services, besides your implants are covered. I would have to pay for the medical room. Of course. He advised me “You should go back to your surgeon, I’m sure he will work with you and if you give him a chance he will make it right” and knowing this should of been put under the muscle in the first place. He made that call, he never told me “hey it’s a higher chance of capsular, your skin doesn’t have good elasticity, so they will sag faster.” Nope he didn’t tell me that. I experienced all the signs and i kept calling him, telling him but all he would say to me “oh Keep Massaging it and vitamin E and it will heal. I was so Tired of the pain and frustrated from all my calls and emails. I would sent to him and lots of pictures showing him that one side so much bigger and they look deformed not to mention my free handed cut out nipples. I should of wrote this a yr ago it’s been 17 months now and now I have to do another big expense to have them remove, have correction lift and put them under like they were suppose to be. The staff are nice but the two main ones who made my experience the best was Brittanny and Carol! Dr Alavi had his chance to fix what he knows clearly, my body was not liking this foreign object on top of my muscle, he messed up and he wanted to charge me MORE money and treat me like crap for complaining since day one, to make matters worse, he wanted to go from 340cc to 495cc and I’m only 5’2 140-145 pounds with a small chest frame. He would of deformed me more, than to do a LIFT and fix my nipples and put new implants under the muscle. Anyways he told me to delete my first review. I should of posted this long ago..Doctors remember WE GO IN w/ full faith and trust your integrity.... golden rule, what goes around.. comes around! Karma it will find those who abuse patients just to make a quick fast buck! Thank you for reading this and if it saves ONE from not making the same mistake than this post was worth it. At the first consult when Dr. Alavi was speaking to me, it seemed as if it was a rehearsed speech. Almost sounding like a robot. Got breast implants and they are uneven. Unhappy with results. 0 stars.

I came in for breast augmentation and had a good experience up to my two week checkup when DrSassan had found my right implant ruptured. I normally don’t single out employees because a company is only as good as its employees so I will try to make my experience it as chronological as possible without mentioning names. When I went in to my 2 week checkup it was with a nurse practitioner not the doctor. I commented I did not feel my right implant and it was much smaller and she said “well just push down the left implant” when clearly it was significantly smaller. I still didn’t feel comfortable and she asked if I wanted to see the doctor and I said yes. This is when DrSassan found the implant was ruptured. This to me is concerning because if I wouldn’t have made the comment or asked for the doctor I would of left the 2 week checkup with a ruptured implant. Even though I got saline implants I was very scared and saddened by the news. This meant I had to do surgery again and take another week off work. I was told that i wouldn’t have to worry about anything because it was so close to the surgery day and they would get in touch with me; that was a Friday morning. On Monday I still had not received a call so I called the same nurse practitioner and was then informed that I would have to buy the $200 insurance for the implant company to cover PART of the costs because the rupture was blamed on a defective implant. I was so overwhelmed with the thought of paying more and taking more time off work because I had already spent $8200 in total for my surgery. However I went ahead and signed up for the insurance just so I can get the implant fixed as soon as soon as possible. Once signed up I called the same nurse practitioner at the office to schedule me in for a surgery asap. She said they would get back to me. No one got back to me even after calling daily for 4 days. Eventually I went over and asked to speak to DrSassan. He was very nice and empathetic as well as Sandra and we were able to schedule the next surgery. However during that lapse I do think they did not give me the same attention as when I was a “new” client. I had to call twice for them to give me the prescriptions I would need for the day of surgery. Everything went well after the surgery. On my SECOND 2 week checkup I had the same nurse practitioner. She asked if I was using the scar cream and I said no I would be Interested. At checkout the scar cream was $150+. I said if they would give it complimentary due to my situation and the collateral inconveniences it had cost like emotional distress, 2 weeks off work and more expenses on medicine. She said she would ask the doctor and get back to me. It has been 5 days and no one got back to me. I called the office today to follow up because I mean at this point I’ve spent 8k I’ll pay the $150 to help with scarring. When I called, the doctor hadn’t even been asked. They offered me a scar cream that was similar to the one for sale but a sample complimentary and i said yes I would pick it up later. On my way there I get a call that that type of cream was expired. This gesture was so petty that they would offer what is obviously their least popular product. I wanted to be rude but I decided to ask they just give me a discount on the one they actually promote that is good and I would be on my way. They ended up giving me 20% off the cream. I actually waited to write a review because something as little as comping the scar cream would of made my experience a whole lot better. I got surgery a month ago and I am very happy with the results. To be honest I am for sure that I got a great deal and i think it was worth it. The doctor was very helpful and kind. Rhinoplasty This was the most amazing experience in my life for personal confidence. I just had rhinoplasty a little over a week ago from Dr. Alvie and I cannot say enough. From consultation to pre op to surgery it’s been incredible. My nose was long bulbous and crooked. I was just hoping for a nice improvement. I’m only a little over a week out and my nose is absolutely perfect. Better than I could ever imagine. From the research I did there were many stories of people having a lot of swelling weeks after and other side effects that are quite normal but time sensitive. After my first tune up at Dr Alavi's, a couple of years ago, I found that I was getting a little heavier and a little droopy. I returned to Dr Alavi for a Mini face lift and liposuction and I plan to have a Tummy tuck in the future. As before, the experience was great and the results are wonderful. Exactly what I wanted. Before anything, let me say "YES"! Yes, I would recommend Dr. Alavi and I would go back to him in a heartbeat if I ever have another procedure! I worked for a doctor who owns a successful LASIK practice, so I know what great patient care looks like. However, it wasn't until I had my breast augmentation by Dr. Alavi, that I got to be on the receiving end of that great patient care! This was going to be my first surgery, so I was nervous for the initial consultation, but Dr. Alavi has a very peaceful and reassuring presence that can be felt as soon as he walks into the room. He makes great eye contact, gives thorough explanations, and patiently answers every question. His practice was clearly busy, yet he made me feel like I was his only patient of the day. He was honest and confident in the results he could achieve for me, which alleviated all of my anxieties. I was nothing but excited up until the very moment Carol, his anesthesiologist, put her special "margarita" into my IV. By the way, Carol is awesome! After 5 minutes of talking with her, you feel like she's your best friend. She calls you the day before surgery and sends text messages days, even weeks after surgery to make sure you are doing well. I can't express enough how happy I am with my mommy makeover procedure. I was tired of putting myself down and decided enough. After going to 4 different consultations I decided Dr Alavi was my choice. He is very affordable and the staff is very nice. While I can tell he is very busy (which is a great sign) you do not feel that way when you are talking to him. He makes sure all your questions are answered and you can text him and email him which was hands down amazing for me while I was in recovery. Now the results. Dr. Alavi not only made me feel like I mattered to him as a patient, but made me confident, feel beautiful, and be able to trust people in the plastic surgery field again. To give a brief background of my previous, and first breast augmentation I would like to express that I was 19 and extremely vulnerable. I decided to have it done with a doctor that I will not mention, in La Jolla, CA. I was a small, “Victoria Secret”, B cup and the surgeon recommended I get 450cc on the right and 500cc to have them appear more symmetrical. I trusted him after a few months of debating size and truly fell into what he thought would be best suited for me. Unfortunately that particular surgeon didn’t go over any precautions or how severe the change would be in my breast. I moved from San Diego to Hawaii and my breast began to sag and take a toll for the worst. I’ve never had children, but it seemed as if I had breast feed a few. I was ashamed, embarrassed, felt so uncomfortable. My weight never passed more than 165lbs and my height was 5’8”, however my breast sagged a few inches away from my bellybutton. After 9 years I couldn’t continue to look myself in the mirror and feel confident. I had so much anger for ever getting surgery in the first place and at times would find myself crying over the issue. I decided to finally do something about it. I knew that I would travel to San Diego to have the surgery because in all honestly it was much more affordable. I took the initiative in December 2017 to see the surgeon who performed the first surgery in La Jolla. In my own words he mentioned something along the lines that there was no way he would be able to correct the job he did. He said,”Mark my words, no one will be able to give you results close to what you expect.” It was as if he was also disgusted with the work he performed. I left crying the prestigious office in tears and feeling like there was no hope. After a few days of searching on google, “Best plastic surgeons in San Diego,” Dr. Alavi appeared. I read over his reviews and was impressed. His work appeared to be perfection. Similar situations as mine, appeared on the before and after images and I knew I needed to make an appointment. It was so easy to schedule an appointment with his staff and didn’t take longer than a few days to see him. My first impression of Dr. Alavi was his presence. His bright eyes, calm collective mannerisms, blanketed me with ease. He took a look at my breast and said this is not a problem. We can easily fix this. My mother that had joined me on the appointment felt confident in his tone of voice and how honest he was. Dr Alavi mentioned, no breast are symmetrical but we will do our best to get as close to perfection as we can. I almost felt like it was too good to be true. With how saggy my breast were and not to mention my right one deflated, I couldn’t believe I found a doctor that didn’t question the difficulty of the procedure. My pre-op was scheduled for March 2018 and it couldn’t come any faster. We went over size and how the lift would take place. Dr Alavi wanted me to be a happy with whatever size I picked. He gave his professional opinion and agreed with me regarding going to a smaller implant size and doing a lift. The surgery went perfectly well, and I was static to see the results. I become emotional when I see the work he completed on my breast. I never thought I would feel confident, beautiful. I look down at my chest and I can not believe the magnificent work he did.
