I had my first and last visit with Sarandeep Makkar over video chat today. I tested negative for Covid on Friday. When she heard my symptoms (fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, congestion, coughing up mucus), she insisted that the only tests she would run were for a UTI and for pregnancy. Of course they both came back negative (never had a UTI or any issues with my urinary tract before, with no pain or indicators of issues with it now. As for the pregnancy test, I have an IUD; pregnancy would be very unlikely). She insisted that I simply have allergies when I tried to ask her to test for other things in addition to the urine analysis. She refused to schedule an in-person appointment and would not test for anything else. I wasted my time today. I'm a store manager and I do not have unlimited time off. Dr Makkar took a chest xray on me 4 Spetember 2015. Findings were Probable right lobe pneumonia. I was seen in the Sentara Urgent Care in Southern Shores, NC on 4 January 2016 and they found a very large mass in the right lobe. Now today, 7 January 2016 her office number and her cell are both disconnected !!!!!! She had NO office staff and she had NO patients the day I was there which I thought was a bit strange.

Great family doctor, she's also a wonderful osteopathic doctor
