Dr. Pereira performed my mitral valve repair in Nov 2018. This procedure was supposed to have been an easier one but turned out to be far from it. In mid-procedure she had to change from a minimally invasive procedure to a full sternectomy. To make a long story short, she was great before the procedure, worked great under pressure during the procedure and had great post-op care for me. Dr. Pereira is literally a life saver and an angel with her hands and skills. Thank you doctor. Doing great now.

Dr. Pereira performed quintuple bypass surgery on our 42 year old son this past Friday. Dr. Pereira made the process much easier with her excellent explanation of the surgery procedure, including expected recovery time and what the lifestyle change would mean to our son. This was a true emergency and could have been much harder for us, but Dr. Pereira intervened and made it so much easier. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Pereira for her compassionate intervention.

Dr. Pereira sets a very high bar when it comes to medical care. Aside from being an excellent surgeon, her compassion and bedside manner are light years beyond any other Doctor I have dealt with. I am saddened that she left the Grand Junction are. I will miss you Doc!

Dr. Pereira is simply fantastic. Great bedside manner, very personable and probably the finest surgeon in the country. I am a little worried seeing she has moved to Birmingham from Western Colorado. That is a long way to go the doctor but if I had to have another surgery that's where I would go. She successfully removed a cancerous lower lobe of my left lung and made me feel comfortable and at ease doing it. Can't begin to say enough about this fine surgeon.

Dr. Pereira confirmed that I needed 2 valve replacements. She made such a great first impression at the consultation, that I was able to prepare for this surgery with very little anxiety. The surgery went well and is successful. Dr. Pereira is an outstanding surgeon. She has all the qualities you hope to find in your doctor. She touched my heart! She listens, she makes eye contact, smiles and she explains medical procedures clearly. Everyone I spoke to about Dr. Pereira loves her too!

Dr. Pereira is the best doctor that I have ever been to in my life. Her surgical skills are top notch, but it does not end there. She is super intelligent, humble, kind, and compassionate. Every time that I have mentioned her to hospital staff, they said how wonderful she is to them. Her office staff is also great.
