This doctor is horrible he is rude, mean, and judgmental. And the staff - not great either. Overall you need to avoid this place and find a real doctor that will give you the care you need.

Dr. Yankow was extremely professional, and he was very nice. After going to four different offices to have a waiver completed, he took the time to read through my papers to understand what I needed, and then made sure everything was done. After my visit, I chose to switch to Yankow as my Primary Care Provider.

If you want someone to tell you what you want to hear instead of the truth, he is not your Doc. I trust him because he does not shine me on..

Are we talking about the same person here? I took my elderly mother to see him when she first moved to into the area as she was experiencing a sudden onset of hip pain and I had not yet been able to find her a primary care physician. After examining the x-rays, he referred her to a Physical Therapist. She ended up wanting him as her primary. They get along well and he understands the issues of aging, dementia, and caretaking. He also has a really offbeat sense of humor.

Had my first appointment with Yankow. When he walked in (45 minutes late) I said "Hello, please to meet you." His response: "No, I don't meet patients, I just exam them. Meeting them makes me uncomfortable." WHAT?!? He then rudely proceeded to ask me (3 times) who I was, where I was from and why I was living in this town!! VERY POOR bedside manners. He also was rude to his NA right in front of me. I quickly got my basic annual exam, prescription refills, referrals and ran. Will find a new PCP!

I went to see yankow about my deep depression and he said he won't help me and told me to leave. He is unprofessional and Inconsiderate. Don't go see him ever.

I visited Dr. Yankow not knowing his specialty, but as a primary care doctor in order to obtain new yearly precscriptions for ongoing meds. In two visits he never checked my heart, lungs, ears, etc, and did not answer my questions or comments directly but talked around them . When I went back for the 2nd appt, for his annual he was going to do a pelvic exam in order to renew blood pressure, cholesterol , and arthritis meds. I walked out.

Dr Yankow refused to investigate my concern regarding my Thyroid health. I explained to him that I have had unusual mood swings, depresion and weight gain. He said, why would I do that? The reason you're fat is because you shove too much food down your throat.
