Dr. Hensley is absolutely amazing! She knows her kiddos and she makes sure they feel comfortable with her. She addresses any and all concerns and she’s thorough! She’s a private practice physician which is really rare these days so she does things her way. She’s always easy to get in with the same day and you’re usually in and out. We love Dr. Hensley! Best pediatrician in Southern Indiana and Louisville hands down!!!!

Dr Hensley was my pediatrician for some years. She is awesome. As caring & knowledgeable as you could find! SO down to earth and easy to communicate with on any type of issue!

I went here as a child and thought she was great but then when I started bringing my kiddos here it seemed like she just didn’t care as much with my questions when I asked them. My final straw was my c-section baby who kept choking to a point she was almost changing colors. Hensley acted like everything was okay and told me everything was okay and went on her day afterwards. The nurses at the hospital kept telling me what my gut instinct was telling me— something is wrong. So I kindly left her a voicemail stating I was switching doctors and thanking her for her help. She called and was the rudest person ever. Told the nurses she was glad I was gone and now I’m someone else’s problem. The nurses were astonished with how she was acting. Since I moved over to Clark Pediatrics and the doctor there caught what was wrong immediately and fixed it. No more issues. Plus they’re super sweet. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Dr Sandra Hensley was my doctor as a child 28 years ago and was widely regarded as one of the best in the area at the time. But she has seemed to have failed to upkeep her continuing education and her staff has fallen with her. When we posed a question about reflux in our breast fed infant, we were told to stop breast feeding and supplement with formula as well as stop feeding on demand. Even the AAP strongly recommends against these suggestions. Any calls, even for simple scheduling, were met with palpable frustration and apathy from staff. Her office felt unkempt and remained unchanged in close to 3 decades. But the final blow for us came when we had questions about a vaccine. We were in no way questioning vaccines as a whole, but more how bad reactions would be handled and how one in particular was administered. We were just asking questions. Dr Hensley’s reaction was to physically raise a finger in front of my face to tell me if I did not get my child this vaccine today (Rotavirus) my infant would certainly end up in the hospital ‘with IVs’. It felt like such a wildly inappropriate, over reaction. We left the practice and went somewhere else where all of our questions are met with patience, compassion, and up to date knowledge. This was 5 years ago. But a recent call back to this office to simply verify records was met with the same apathy we remember and prompted me to finally write this much needed review. Dr. Hensley is great! The staff is also amazing! dr. hensley was my pediatric doctor since birth, along with all of the amazing staff that is there today, and i now have two kids who go to her. i wouldn’t want them to see anyone else! :) She gives quick, yet great quality check ups! The whole office has also been great during this pandemic with taking all precautions. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone! Dr. Hensley is great! Dr. Hensley is one of the best pediatrician around in my opinion. She makes sure all questions are answered and she explains things very well. I find her bedside manner to be good. My kids are TERRIFIED of the exam tables, She has not once made them sit on it but yet examines them in the chairs. She is also very patient with them. She is very quick in diagnosing but I don't see that as an issue. The staff is also awesome!

The best Dr. For baby's and kids

Love Dr. HENSLEY. She is the best doctor in southern Indiana. She is above and beyond and knows what she is doing.????

We really like Dr. Hensley and her office staff. Everyone is friendly and professional and she was really helpful in fast-tracking an appointment for our daughter with a specialist. I’d recommend Sellersburg Pediatrics and Dr. Hensley to parents in the area.

Just called to make an appointment for a child, the person who answered was rude. Said she could accept anyone and refused to make an appointment. Got an attitude when I explained that the child couldn't return to school without be check out by doctor and having a note. Told me to just use benadryl or take her somewhere else. Dr Hensley is wonderful. I called and they got my sick daughter an appointment in the office a half hour later.

Dr. Hensley has treated my children and is now doing the same for my grandchildren...Her patience with children is amazing and her experience is excellent

Very rude staff. Sandra Hensley is a very rude lady with very little knowledge to be a doctor. She also doesent properly and thoroughly complete regular check ups. Also the other members of the staff are very uneducated and rude. It's like a circus. I do not reccomended this doctor.

Avoid if you can. Dr. Hensley has poor bedside manners, doesn't care one lick about what questions you have, and is more interested in lining up the kids at the hospital for a fast exam before moving on to whatever is apparently more important. 1st time mom and love her. She's great haven't had a problem.

I LOVE Dr. Hensley! She is always joking with the kids and happy to talk with you about any questions you may have. I love her laid back way of doing things.

This is my son's account. But.... My kids love Dr. Hensley. They say, "oh, she's awesome"(when I showed them her google picture). I have 3 boys all close in age and if she can get their attention and make them laugh and listen then she's great in my book. She's really down to earth, funny, and helpful. Always laughing and joking with my boys. She may seem like she's rushing sometimes but it's only usually when the office is really busy. But she will definitely answer your questions and/or concerns before exiting. All these negative reviews on such a kind sweet person really upsets me. I think you people are really just stuck up giving these awful reviews to this sweet hearted woman. Dr. Hensley is awesome. We have been w her for at least 7years. This is my son's account. But.... We love Dr. Hensley. Office staff is great with my little one. Questions are always answered. No issues making appointments. No long wait times. We have always been happy with our child's care here.

The dr is wonderful. However, some of the staff are rude and very uncooperative.

I have been taking my kids there since 1999!! I love Dr.Hensley. She is so sweet and down to earth. I have lived in Okolona in Louisville, and currently live in Corydon. We have tried other dr.'s but I will continue to drive out of my way so I know my kids are well taken care of! Mother of 5 boys and two girls! 22, (forever 16), 16, 15, 11, 10 and 7 yr old. Dr Hensley is an incredibly personable and down to earth physician. She's very easy to talk to and answers all questions thoroughly and knowledgeably. My daughter has a fear of going to doctor's offices, but she loves Dr Hensley and the way she goes above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and at ease; she always includes her in conversations and allows her to ask her own questions. The entire staff is very friendly and efficient. Our wait times are the shortest of any doctor I've ever been

I swear her employees had to write this review! I simply called this office to attempt to establish a new patient appointment. One of the rudest representatives of a business is exactly what I ran into by calling this "Doctors office"! My husband and myself are soldiers in the United States Army and we will GLADLY take our business else where to a professional staff that knows how to treat people! If this "Doctor" chooses to have somebody answering her phone to represent her clinic in such a rude, tacky, unclassy, unprofessional way then I can only imagine the type of care she would give our child. I have taken my babies there since they was born,Zoe is 10 and Callie is 7,I love this lady to death,she is an amazing doctor,my children are never scared to go see her,matter of fact they love seeing her.SHE IS THE BEST EVER
