2010 pituitary mass removal at UCSF. Dr. Kunwar successfully, skillfully and completely (as of 2020) removed my 21 year old daughter's cyst/tumor.

Dr. Kunwar is a great neurosurgeon. He made us so comfortable with making our decision of my pituitary adenoma( secreting prolactin tumor) so easy and made us confident to take up the surgery. So i finally did it 6 weeks ago. Today was my post op appointment and he was so patient and confident whatever he has done. A perfect neurosurgeon, he knows exactly what he is doing and he has his answers ready before I ask any questions. I would recommend him for any neuro tumors n specially pituitary!!

I have congenital hydrocephalus so I feel like I've had the task of dealing with FAR to many doctors and I've been made to feel unimportant and (at times) intimidated. Dr. Kunwar is so different from any other surgeon I've spoken to. I actually enjoy talking to him because he encourages questions and he genuinely care about the health and well being of his patients. Not to mention he does beautiful work, his incisions are so tiny! He is the best surgeon I've had and I'm thankful for his help.
