My own orthopedic surgeon recommended Dr. Sodha when I broke my wrist. My experience has been great, from Dr. Sodha to everyone in the office. He’s interested in getting me back to the mobility I had. From scheduling surgery to follow up, everything has been easy to navigate and done with efficiency and care.

I first met Dr. Sodha when he was treating patients in NYS and followed him to NJ because of the quality of his care. Dr. Sodha is kind, caring, compassionate and LISTENS to what his patients have to say.

Dr. Sodha is exceptional. From the minute you walk in until you walk out, he is remarkably kind, talented and so intelligent. If you’re having serious problems with your hands…look no further.

Dr. Sodha is very knowledgeable and very kind. He has done surgery on both my hands one of which was a redo from another doctor that was not done well. He always calls back if you need to speak with him. He is gentle and explains everything to you. No matter how busy he is he does not rush you. Also if you have any type of problem and you are his patient he makes sure to squeeze you in. The staff are also great and the office is beautiful.

Dr. Sodha is a consummate professional who is highly knowledgeable, very personable and a superior doctor/surgeon!

I went to Dr. Sodha for the first time over two years ago because of the pain in my wrists. It turns out I have carpal tunnel in both of my wrists. I was extremely nervous, but he immediately put me at ease. He is professional and knowledgeable. I recently went back for another cortisone shot. I am once again pain free! I would recommend him 100% to anyone who is looking for a hand/wrist expert.

I'm 7 years old. Dr. Sodha is funny, and he was nice to me. I broke my arm bone near my wrist. He did a good job fixing it. I feel better now. My mom also wanted to say what she thought: Dr. Sodha was very kind and respectful to my son and to me. He explained everything clearly and with an appropriate level of detail. I chose Dr. Sodha based on his excellent reviews, but did not know anyone personally who had been treated by him. I was looking for a skilled doctor with a kind demeanor that would treat people of all ages, races and backgrounds with respect. I have a steady date with Dr. Sodha every 4 or 5 months to relieve pain in my thumb, due to severe arthritis. It's always a pleasure to meet with him. He's an up-beat, kind and knowledgeable practitioner. Thanks, Dr. Sodha!!

I went to see Dr.Sodha after a fall, I injured my right wrist. Very gentle and caring he recommended pt and to wait to see if it would improve when it didn’t then we did surgery, I must say that the surgery went really well. Can’t say enough good things about him I recommended co workers and family members I trust him completely.

Dr. Soda spent a good deal of time explaining the problem with my thumb joint, and what options I can take to get better. He also has an excellent "bedside manner" and personality as well. I highly recommend him.

I would recommend Dr. Sodah to all of my friends and family. I started to see him when he practiced in NY and I followed Dr. Sodah to NJ after he left NY. I now travel about 90 minutes to see him. His bedside manner is beyond any physician I have ever seen. He is very knowledgeable and patient. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and providing them with the best care possible. Every time I see him, he explains everything thoroughly and never rushes toward surgery. I would not go anywhere else for hand issues!!

My wait time to see Dr. Sodah was brief. The office was clean and the staff polite. Everyone was courteous and polite. I like the Montvale location, too. Dr. Sodah is the consummate professional. He is the very best surgeon in his field. I met him at the trauma center at Hackensack. I had just been hit by a car and fractured both wrists and left leg. I was lucky to have him for a surgeon. I never thought my hands would work properly again, but thanks to the doctor, they worked just fine. I can hardly see the scars!! Thank you, Dr. Sodah, for putting me back together.

Dr. Sodha left my hand a complete mess. My hand may never be the same. A simple trigger finger release turned into an abundance of scar tissue and possibly even Dupuytrens Contracture which is a lifetime disease with no cure which I didn't have before. This was a complete botched surgery. I think the doctor meant well but whatever he did certainly was not up to industry standards. I ended up having a Xiaflex injection and manipulation because of the fibrotic scar tissue in my palm. This ended up being quite traumatic because based on a recent MRI, it looks like the surgeon partially tore my flexor tendon in doing the manipulation. I have a huge lump in my palm, and forever hurting finger, and I just had to move on from Dr. Sodha and Rothman. By the way, when I told other hand surgeons about my story and experience, they COULD NOT believe the chain of events and procedures that were done. I am hoping that I don't have permanent injuries but as of now it looks that way especially if I need surgery to remove the scar tissue and clean up my hand. It is a total mess.

I was suffering with Dupuytren’s contracture in both hands, and for the longest time held off having it corrected, not wanting to go through the ordeal of surgery. Dr Sodha offered me a two day, non-surgical procedure to straighten my fingers. It was done in office and required no physical therapy afterwards. I was beyond pleased with the results which were quality of life changing. I was actually able to return to playing the keyboards and was able to perform our wedding song for my wife on our anniversary. So, if you have any reservations about having this procedure done, do yourself a favor and pay Dr. Sodha a visit.

I broke my right wrist 2 months ago today. I went to see Dr. Sodha for a follow-up visit. He was amazed at what the x-ray of my right wrist showed! I was completely healed. He told me, "I hit it out of the park!" I think Dr. Sodha hit it out of the park! I highly recommend Dr. Sodha if you need surgery for hand or wrist injuries. Wonderful doctor and staff! I was referred to Dr. Sodha by another doctor and could not have been more pleased. He immediately put me at ease and not only assisted me with my initial concern but was very kind and proactive in solving a second unrelated issue. Dr Sodha was an extremely pleasant Dr to deal with. He was careful and polite and handled my 2 year old wonderfully. I would definitely recommend him especially if the patient is a baby or a kid, he is really good with them!

After being involved in a terrifying car accident involving my entire family (including my 6 week old son and 5 year old daughter), we were all rushed to Hackensack UMC for treatment. Luckily, my children and husband sustained minor bumps and bruises and I was the one to take the brunt of the injuries. That day I was was fortunate enough to have Dr Sodha on call, he looked at the X-rays of my splintered wrist from his office and drove in to take care of me. His bedside manner is impeccable and even on one of the most stressful days of my life, he made me feel at ease about my emergency surgery. My surgery and weeks of treatment have all gone so smoothly, I could not have asked for a better physician. With the help of the Rothman Ortho staff and my awesome Physical Therapist, Natalie, I am on my way to a full recovery. I truly believe I would still be in a hard cast and struggling through pain (and any attempt at caring for my children) if not for his care. Thank you Dr Sodha!!

Phenomenal doctor with great bedside manner!!! I am so happy to have been treated by Dr. Sodha!!! He truly knows what he is doing. I had two carpal tunnel release surgeries on two different occasions done and I am so happy with the results. I also had two myxoid cysts removed and I am also happy with the results as well. Incredible person as well as surgeon! My son had a bad accident and his fingers needed emergency surgery to repair damage. Dr. Sodha did an excellent job in all regards. We are all very thankful for him. He is not just an excellent surgeon, he truly is a excellent doctor !!!

When he was in New York Dr. Sodha treated me for Carpal Tunnel ...not surgery, but just cortisone injections. He was very understanding of my fear of surgery and recommended a wrist brace at the time. I wish he were still in New York. I can't find another doctor as kind and considerate as he is. P.S, Still have that terrible pain in my right hand....but managing by wearing the brace ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT.
