I have always had been treated well here until today. Saw the nurse practitioner who I told I was having increased auras more frequently and have been more severe. I had bad reactions to increasing my seizure medication, but never had an additional one added. She didn’t even attempt that. Told her my sleep is extremely poor, she had given me trazadone. I told her it wasn’t helping and asked if we could try something else. I was told to go see my psychiatrist who I told her I couldn’t afford anymore. She just gave me another month worth of trazadone and told me to go see my primary physician. I see a pain specialist but since when can neurologists not be able to prescribe nerve medication they also fall under seizure meds. Lack of sleep causes seizures and so does anxiety. This seems to put me inbeetween a rock and a hard place. This is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed at this clinic. I hope I don’t end up having another seizure.

Doctor seems knowledgeable. Terrible billing Department. They do not do courtesy calls at all about your account and send you straight to collections for $20.00. Very disappointed. Do Not recommend

VERY caring staff and physician. They have always been kind and knowledgeable when I have taken my father in for follow up care to his condition! Highly recommend!

I’m the patient who forgets a lot. I happened forget few appointment thru the year and got kicked out when doctor knew I had short memory issues and still kick me out even she never review my cat scan with me yet! Dr.Anwar Really has listen to me about having seizures. She knew I had struggled for years taking medication. As soon as she became my doctor she did everything for me. She provided every option and information and gave me the courage to move forward and have surgery. I am now seizure free!!! So Kind and truly a caring friend to me! Her staff has always been helpful also!

Extremely unprofessional! I was supposed to be referred and “Jo” called me 5 times in a row call after call while I was on vacation literally 2 days after I was in the doctor office saying if I don’t call back they will refuse my referral! I was dismissed as a patient from their practice because I “ missed too many appointments.” The missed appointments they are referring to are the virtual doctor visits that the office never showed up on time for! I wish I could give zero stars. I have never felt so disrespected and uncomfortable in a doctors office. The nurse practitioner was flat out rude and condescending. I do not recommend using this office. I do not feel comfortable receiving treatment from the woman I saw so I will not be returning. She seemed shocked when I asked her if I was annoying her (because of how rudely she was talking to me - I assumed there was something wrong) and she told me she was sorry but she didn’t know why I felt that way... which surprises me based off of all of the negative reviews on here. Never had any issues. Dr Anwar always took the time to listen and also explain any questions I had, She was always very professional. The staff is always helpful and friendly as well.

Rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. She acted like I was taking up her time from the moment the appointment started with "How are you and what do you want" :-( She said she would fill my prescription the way she wanted to and not the way I had been taking it for over a year. She was AWFUL!!!!!! Do not waste your time with this person at all. It is a shame too, because Jamie Wagner and the office staff are so nice and helpful and listen then the so called doctor is horrible. She makes her staff look and probably feel bad with that nasty attitude. Great place if you dont see the Dr.

The staff were helpful, efficient, friendly, and very mindful of COVID precautions. Dr. Anwar was excellent. She took the time to hear all my symptoms and concerns , discussed and explained how nerves were affected, took prompt action to determine problem. I could not have asked for a better doctor visit. Left with relief that she would pinpoint the problem and treat it properly. Perfect visit!

The nurse practitioner, Jamie, is so unpleasant. She acts like she has better things to do with her time than to see patients. This has got to be the worst neurologist I have ever been seen at. Do not go here - trust me. The front desk staff is very nice though.

97 yr old mom saw the nurse practitioner and I saw the Dr. Both were knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr. Anwar was extremely attentive and listened to all of my concerns. She made a clear plan and scheduled me for a follow up appointment in one month. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a neurologist.

I saw this wonderful doctor to get my nerve conduction study for a spine and brain doctor to perform a dysectomy and fusion of my spine. She was so nice and empathetic. We both had planters fachiitis and shared exercised to relieve pain. She has a great personality and is a brilliant doctor. Jamie is very nice and sets her goal to get your treatments and orders set up in a timely fashion. The office staff is quick to get you an appointment if you're in pain. Great practice. Dr. anwar helped me with a slipped disk and was very kind. great doctor

The reviews are all correct. Dr. Anwar is cold and was not at all knowledgeable on my condition. But Jamie was wonderful. I hope Jamie has moved to another practice, because she’s wasted in Anwar’s office.

I thought the nurse practicioner was helpful and courteous. I have never experienced such an incompetent and uncaring doctor as Dr. Anwar was at my appointment. She forgot SHE ordered imaging then claimed to know the results. She lectured me on something that wasn’t my fault and couldn’t be undone for minutes until I interrupted her ON MY BIRTHDAY the day before I was formally diagnosed with a life-altering disease she thought I didn’t have. She forced me to endure 5 additional days of an excruciating spinal headache because of her lack of medical knowledge and callousness. This office also has a sign that says “wheelchair bound patients must have someone wirh them throughout the entire time in the office or they won’t be seen. Can you say illegal??? Don’t go here. This office is terrible. They have a Nurse Practitioner who is down right unpleasant. She acts as if you are wasting her precious time. I was there today. I got absolutely no help and have been in awful pain for two months now. She couldn’t have cared less. I have seen Dr. Anwar and she seems concerned about your health issue and very kind. But I did complain about the Nurse Practitioner to the office manager.i hope they do something about this very rude woman who seems to think she’s a little bit better than all of the rest of us! Dr. Anwar’s assistant was horrible treated me as if I was drug seeking! I reported this to the office manager I was never apologize to buy the assistant or Dr and we are totally unprofessional did nothing for the problem in which I came there for horrible Practice do not recommend at all

It says she treats CRPS yet she couldn't diagnose or treat my daughter. Pushed her off and told her to go University of MD emergency room so they can figure out what's wrong with her. Trust when I say this review is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not done with her ignorance and total lack of emphathy my complaint will go further. Save yourself and find another doctor!!!

Jamie, Dr. Anwar's assistant, does a great job of making the patient feel that he is in good hands.... very knowledgeable, current, professional and caring. Additionally, she has a great sense of humor.. Recommend her highly,

Have made to appointments travelled 30 miles each way only to be told she was not there and the appointments were at different times and days, not going back

I had personally heard great things about Dr Anwar. My experience not so much. She was so nasty I was tempted to just leave. Zero compassion. Dr. Anwar did not provide information about the new meds she provided for my seizures. There was not a nurse to take my vitals. It took two-weeks to get my EEG results back. I stopped by the office two-weeks ago to report side affects and have not recieved a follow up call. I have made an appointment with a new Dr.
