The provider did a great job explaining where I was in my pregnancy and where I should be and answered any questions my husband and I had well.

I didn't actually meet with a physician at all. The ultrasound tech was fine, but I didn't get an actual assessment or reading of the ultrasound from a physician and I am still waiting on details. I am pretty disappointed that a doctor didn't even come in to say looks good. The tech is qualified to note big issues on ultrasound, but has no actual skills to assess the minutia of an ultrasound, so that was very disappointing.

They are always so friendly!! I absolutely love all of the techs ??

I have felt extremely well cared for since transitioning my plan of care to this facility and with the midwives. My husband and I could not be more excited about our prenatal/birthing journey!

I have only seen Dr. Weigand once. Fortunately, she was on call when my OB sent me in for more work up and second opinion. She is phenomenal. She takes charge. She is very compassionate, thorough and explains everything in details. It was very clear from the very start, She puts her patients first! She definitely went out of her way to arrange quick and timely testing and management for me after we experienced two and half hours of delay in care due to Berry women center’s staff not knowing what they were doing. The staff first got us checked in to go to triage to labour and delivery, then sent us to ultrasound department, then Ultrasound main tech brought us “back” to information desk to get us to Labour and delivery. she finally thought of the idea to call the on call doctor to figure out what she was supposed to do. I wonder why she couldn’t do that while we were at the ultrasound department. Anyways, she brought us back to ultrasound department after talking to Dr. Weigand. In all fairness, she offered a wheel chair and apologized. We waited some more again in ultrasound department. After all this, clearly we were frustrated, but then enters Dr. Weigand after ultrasound was completed. She quickly noticed that fours nurses were sitting there and hadn’t put me on fetal monitor yet. She immediately took charge and made her “not so enthusiastic” nursing staff to do their job. She clearly made her patient her priority from the very start. She took more time in getting to know my history than my own OB. She was very thorough in collecting information and then explaining everything to me. She was very thoughtful in doing quick transfer of care and saved us an overnight admission which could have been very tiring and hectic for me and my husband. I am so glad docs like her exist, who go way out of her way to help their patients! I am an internist and have never been at the receiving end before other than ER encounter. This entire experience gave me a whole new perspective. I wish Dr. Weigand best of luck and hope that more docs practice the way she does! I have only seen Dr. Weigand once. Compassionate, determined and highly competent. Gave me an honest prognosis when things werent looking good and was cheerful and enthusiastic when they improved. Kept a human approach centered on my wishes even in a high risk, highly medicalized setting. Would recommend to any expectant woman requiring specialized care.
