Be careful. In couples therapy she was not transparent and had “secret meetings” with both individuals. She forgot key details consistently and seemed to confuse patients.

She listens deeply and helps you develop excellent coping skills-Ways to shift your thinking and perspective and make better decisions in life. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to make positive changes in their life and feel more confident.

A great therapist will not sugar coat things and tell you only what you want to hear, if you are expecting that, then you will never get the help you need. Samantha is a great therapist! She never gave up on me, even when I had given up on myself. I always felt heard and safe with her. She was my constant when everything else was upside down. As long as you keep showing up and do the work she asks of you, you will get better. It will not happen overnight and it is not easy, but it will happen and Samantha can help you get there.

I had a terrible experience with Ms. Swanson about 3 years ago. Very rude and nasty person. I'm so disappointed in her lack of professionalism, but very happy I looked elsewhere and found a counselor who met my needs. I'm really hoping she was just having a really bad day, but it was so discouraging.
