I’m 1 month post op and I can’t say enough of how life changing meeting Dr. Most was for me. I had lived with complicated case of a fractured nose — I couldn’t breathe through it for the majority of my life. I was nervous as I had never gone under for a major surgery like this, but Dr. Most and his staff were very personable and made me comfortable the entire time. In terms of results, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My nose looks even better than it did pre-op, it’s actually symmetrical! Not only that, the quality of my sleep improved from 70% to 93% according to my sleep tracker. I can breathe so easy now. I had ended up getting a rib graft; pre-op Dr. Most had informed me before as a precaution and reassured me it was the best course of action. I had experienced no bruising on my face and swelling was noticeable but not egregious. The rib recovery wasn’t as bad as I thought, very tender and minimal range in the early days but I was able to stop using the pain medication fairly quickly. It can take awhile from pre-op visits to the actual surgery date considering how in demand he is. Once you’ve established yourself as his patient, definitely use the myHealth app as suggested by his staff. It is much easier to communicate that way instead of phone. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Most to everyone. A huge thank you to him and his staff.

If I could give more stars to Dr. Most and his team I would. Everybody in that office is stellar. The whole experience from the first office visit, consultation, and including the surgery, is excellent. I had the surgery in September 2022. Dr. Most is a caring, professional, knowledgeable, scientific, patient, and down-to-earth surgeon. I broke my nose when I was nine years old and since then had a deviated septum. My breathing had gotten worse over years. The surgery was rather long, it lasted for four hours. I did not have any problems waking up after it either. I did not feel any excruciating pain immediately after, nor in the days and weeks after the surgery. I was surprised by how painless it was. The swelling was minimal and it did not last longer than expected. Post-op care and concerns about the patients are great. Post-op experience: I forgot how it feels to take a deep breath and fill up my lungs with oxygen at full capacity. I can run without going breathless in a few minutes. I can breathe through my nose all the time, and do not gasp for air frequently. Moreover, my nose looks like the one I had as a nine-year-old. I called Dr. Most's office to try and schedule a consultation, letting them know that my ENT at El Camino health had recommended I call as he's "the best" for a septorhinoplasty procedure. His receptionist on the phone was incredibly rude and belittling. After keeping me on hold for 32 minutes, she picks up - "Sorry, Sir" she said, "I shouldn't even be speaking to you without a formal referral form in front of me" I replied, "No problem, should I ask my ENT at El Camino to submit one?" She responds, "Yes, go ahead and do that, I have to take another call, goodbye". After a formal referral had been submitted for a week, I call again. Same receptionist, same hold time, same tone, same utter lack of interest in being any help to their prospective patients. After my 30+ minute hold time, she picks up "Mr. Helf, we're not taking on any new patients right now, you'll need to go somewhere else". Yep, I gathered that, wish you would have told me that the first go-around.... Don't waste your time with Dr. Most and his staff. Re: Revision Rhinoplasty I underwent a primary rhinoplasty in 2018 with another facial plastic surgeon to improve a dorsal hump and asymmetric tip/nostrils. Initially, I was happy with the results, but over time my nose healed crookedly. I consulted with several facial plastic surgeons in Southern California, most of whom said they could not give me the results I was looking for. I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Most through colleagues and saw his beautiful revision rhinoplasty results online, so I decided to make an appointment. During my consultation, he used photoshop to show me the changes he would make to straighten my nose. He has a keen eye for detail and identified subtle imperfections in my nose that he could improve. He was also very receptive to hearing what aspects of my nose I wanted changed. Overall, Dr. Most was very realistic about the expectations and outcomes in a revision case like mine - I truly trusted that I was in good hands. I am now approximately 1 month post-op after a revision rhinoplasty with a rib graft. My nose was "S-shaped," making it an extremely challenging revision, but Dr. Most delivered perfection. I could not be any more pleased with the results - my nose is straight and symmetric for the first time in my life. I was greatly looking forward to my consultation with Dr. Most, considering the reviews and reputation that he has. Unfortunately the $200 consultation was incredibly disappointing and disheartening. I went to in to discuss a revision rhinoplasty. They first give you an iPad to watch a 10 min video of Dr. Most giving general explanations about rhinoplasty. First red flag -- I guess he can't be bothered to talk to you about these things in person even though you're paying $200 for his time. When I finally met the doctor it's immediately clear he's not particularly interested in being there. He hardly bothers with an intro, quickly asks a few questions (that I had already answered to the nurse), takes a quick look at my nose and then just gives his own diagnosis without much consideration for my concerns. He tells me there's nothing he can do to improve breathing without any further explanation, despite another doctor I consulted with telling me otherwise. Also, the so called "computer imaging" that's supposed to show you expected results was hilarious. He just popped my pictures into Photoshop and spent 30 seconds applying some rudimentary effects. They took a photo from 7 angles but of course Dr. Most only bothered to look at two. Even then, for the front angle he said he can't do much and just made a smudged, blurry blob of my nose and called it a day. Overall, you get probably 10 minutes with Dr. Most. And in my experience, you'll spend those 10 minutes feeling ignored, unwelcome, and ripped off. The best part? The cost estimate for the surgery was $30k. I almost laughed. I was greatly looking forward to my consultation with Dr. Most, considering the reviews and reputation that he has. I first went to see Dr. Most for a possible rhinoplasty/septoplasty revision. I have hardness in my nose that has bothered me since my surgery with another otolaryngologist. Dr. Most was incredibly realistic and ultimately talked me out of having a second surgery which I do not think most surgeons would have done. He is obviously very skilled but also very kind and realistic. I highly recommend him. I finally had my revision rhinoplasty last year! I was too afraid of trying to fix it. My dog broke my nose when we collided as we were playing ball together. I was able to get an appointment with Dr Most within a timely manner and he advised me that I needed to wait until the internal swelling reduced from my accident. Needless to say, I waited, and boy was it worth it. After the accident I was left with a deviated septum that caused issues with my breathing. Personally, I was never entirely happy with the shape and appearance of my nose so I figured while he is fixing my deviated septum I might as well also get a rhinoplasty. Dr Most was very patient with me and told me what he could do and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I had my Rhinoplasty done 8 weeks ago as of yesterday. I LOVE my results. I found Dr. Most and loved what I found. I found out my cousin went to him a few years ago- she HIGHLY recommended him. I had my consultation Feb 1st, deposit down Feb 2nd, and surgery scheduled Feb 16th. Extremely quick but I was confident in my decision to proceed. I did have questions and concerns arise, his office was more than willing to put me at ease. He was able to put me at ease with any questions I had being that it was such a quick timeframe. I still have a full year to be fully recovered but I loved my nose within a month. I can't wait to see the final result in 10 months since it already looks so great. I'm Middle Eastern and for those who understand that struggle- Dr. Most was a God sent! My nose has a subtle and natural look that still fits my face which is what him and I both wanted. I have had three nose reconstruction surgeries due to a wrestling injury almost twenty five years ago! I haven’t been able to breathe out of both nostrils for almost seven years, and after a number of doctors said they could not do the work on my nose, and that I would need someone who does TV shows about reconstruction to fix my nose, Dr. Most took the job! I could not possibly be more pleased with not only the final outcome of being able to breathe again, sleep soundly again, and feel confident when public speaking again, but also with Dr. Most’s professionalism, his team’s friendliness, and their office’s attentiveness to my every need. I never had to wait when arriving for my appointment, was always responded to through the app or a phone call within hours if I had a concern, and was always treated with dignity and respect. Every person I met, from the front desk to Dr. Most himself, was polite, helpful, humorous, and kind. This place is amazing. I had a severely deviated septum, over grown turbinates and a resultant 'nasal valve' issue. I had Septoplasty and Turbinate reduction performed by Dr Sam Most. I have to say he a highly impressive surgeon. There was very low pain after the procedure. The full recovery is long, and I am at the early stages. But he is truly excellent.

Dr. Most is a miracle worker. Prior to my surgery, I had a severely deviated septum that I had spent all my life dealing with. He straightened my nose drastically and improved the overall appearance as well. Couldn’t be happier with how the surgery went!

Where do I start? To make a long story short I had an awful looking big nose and I had a lot of trouble breathing since my injuries when I was little. I am now 16 and after seeing so many doctors throughout my life and being told my nose is too severe and that they can't fix it until I was referred to Dr. Most. The moment I talked to him and told him my story, he was very understanding and tried to help me the most. I felt very safe and totally trusted him right away. As a 16 year old​, you would imagine I would be very anxious and nervous to go into operation but with Dr. Most,​ I felt very safe and knew that everything was going to be okay no doubt. Also,​ the team around Dr. Most is ​amazing and very helpful and comforting. My surgery took more hours than it should because Dr. Most wanted to make sure all the little details are taken care off and that everything was perfect. I could not be more thankful for that and if that doesn't show how good of a doctor he is I don't know what does. After my surgery,​ the recovery was not painful what so ever but it was uncomfortable the first week. I only got swollen but no pain even without painkillers​. After my cast was off, my nose was pretty swollen but it faded after two weeks and it still is. The results were amazing, I am so satisfied with the results. I broke my nose while playing soccer which resulted in not only terrible breathing problems but the overall appearance of my nose was hideous. At 15, I not only dealt with not being able to breathe through my nose but the insecurity of having a big nose. After seeing a few surgeons, none of them made me feel comfortable about the procedure. I was referred to Dr. Most by one of my doctors when meeting Dr. Most he was very understanding and made me feel very comfortable and safe. When Dr. Most performed surgery on my nose, not only did he correct my breathing problem but gave me an amazing nose that fits my face. This doctor seems more interested in his high profile as a lecturer than in providing adequate patient care. He does a very brief evaluation and does not explain pros and cons or details about what surgery he may provide. He is brusk and abrupt and made me feel uncomfortable about wasting his time answering questions. At the 1st appointment he said we could talk more about everything at the 2nd appointment. On the 2nd appointment he told me he had talked about everything at the 1st appointment.

Had rhinoplasty and chin implant at University of Washington by Dr. Most in 2005. He is an excellent surgeon and I am extremely happy with the results. He gave me the nose I always wanted. I recommend a surgeon who specializes in the one area, facial, than a general plastic surgeon.

I wish I had my deviated septum surgery 20 years ago. I can finally exercise without breathing through my mouth. I can sleep without snoring like a bear (not attractive on a woman). Dr Most is professional but also very approachable and easy to talk to. He understood exactly what I wanted and did not push me to do anything that I did not want. Dr. Most is an incredibly skillled surgeon. I had a prior procedure to fix my septum that ultimately wasn’t successful. I put off the revision surgery for years, but know what I know now, I should have done it sooner. Dr. Most listened to my goals as far as functionality and aesthetics and developed a revision septoplasty/rhinoplasty plan that I felt comfortable with. I went to a few surgeons prior to him and he was the only one who truly heard what I said. The surgery was seamless and the recovery was quick. I even went to a party 10 days after and no one suspected I had surgery. Everything is healing up so nicely and the scars are minimal. I initially went to Sam Most from a third party who highly recommended him due to his detailed cosmetic work. I had a deviated septum and a ball on the tip of my nose covering my nostrils. Dr. Most was able to preform a septo rihnoplasty procedure.After my surgery I am pleased with the phenomenal results. Dr.Most improved my breathing and made a narrow thiner nose with a tip reduction. Dr. Most did a fantastic job on my nose. It is very natural looking, just the way I had wanted, with just the right amount of character. Dr. Most and his staff are great and very helpful. I was in good hands because Dr Most made sure there is optimal, if not, maximal balance in aesthetic and function of the outcome for my nose.

Doctor Most is more than amazing. I am a 26 y/o female and I had a Septoplasty/turbinate reduction surgery with Doctor Most on April/2017. I had a severe deviated septum and I’ve had issues with nasal congestion ever since I was a kid to the point that I was not able to breath without using Afrin every day and night. My deviated Septum had affected my sleep quality, my endurance in playing sports and it had affected my everyday life. I searched and visited so many surgeons and it took me years to find someone that I could trust. From the initial consultation appointment that I had with Doctor Most, he told me that I need to do a septoplasty. Doctor Most is the smartest, most caring and the most professional doctor I have ever seen. His whole team is amazing, from Amy who was the scheduler for my surgery and was beyond helpful to me to his whole office team, all his nurses and medical assistants are awesome. The surgery itself was unbelievably easy and with no complications. Right before the surgery I was terrified and very nervous, but Doctor Most and his team assured me that they are watching over me and taking care of me and that the surgery will be successful. The surgery took about 2 hours and right when I woke up from the anesthesia I could breathe! It’s crazy that I could breathe better, while having the splints inside my nose, than I could 3 hours earlier before the surgery was done. After I got home I had no bleeding, no red eyes, no bruises or any other types of complication which was surprising to me because my deviated septum was complicated. I took pain killers for 2 days just to prevent any pain but I really didn’t have any pain at all. After a week when the splints where removed from my nose (removing them wasn’t painful or hard at all) It was the best feeling in the world being able to breath Like I had never experienced in my life. Today I’m posting this review 6 months after the surgery and ever since that day I haven’t had a single day of having trouble breathing or experiencing congestions. Even the time that I caught a cold 2 months ago, I was still able to breath without needing to use Afrin. My deviated septum was so bad that it was noticeable by looking at my nose, since it looked off centered. Even though I had septoplasty and not a rhinoplasty, my nose looks straight from the outside and just the way I always wanted it to look. I had been debating getting a rhinoplasty for years but once I finally decided to go through with it, I did extensive research on which doctor would be the best fit. After much research I decided to make a consultation with Dr. Most. Going into the office his entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The overall environment was very comfortable which was important to me since this was my first time doing anything like this. Dr. Most did a thorough assessment of what he thought would look appropriate for my face shape, size etc. He was very adamant about not making my nose too small and saying he always strives for a more natural appearance. My daughter recently had an Otoplasty done by Dr Most and she is very happy with the results. Just a little over a month post surgery and healing is great without complications. Dr Most is a fantastic doctor who is a Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Stanford University School of Medicine. I have had a problem breathing out of my nose due to an injury I had as a child. I went to another Reconstructive Surgeon in the area over 10 years ago to correct the problem but was greatly disappointed with the result. I have suffered from sleep apnea for the past 25 years, but have been unable until now to use the CPAP machine at night to get deep restful sleep. I almost gave up trying to fix my nose until I met Dr Most who was highly recommended to me by several other doctors. I was extremely impressed with Dr Most and his staff when I first met them. They did a thorough examination on my nose and assured me that my nose was definitely fixable. In fact, Dr Most felt that when my deviated septum was corrected It would automatically straighten the shape of my nose at the same time. I then agreed to have the surgery. The surgery was painless and the recovery was easy. Best of all I could actually breathe through my nose. As an added bonus my nose looks terrific. It’s the best looking thing on my face now. Dr Sam Most is an amazing surgeon !! A true artist!! I had a rhinoplasty done one year ago (March 2017) and the results are fabulous. Very natural look and in harmony with the rest of my facial features. He set my expectations from the beginning during the consultation and was also very attentive to what i wanted as well. His staff is very nice and professional. I highly recommend Dr Sam Most as a facial plastic surgeon!

I seriously question the judgment of an M.D., who operates a plastic surgery clinic as it was a teaching hospital. It is an impersonal visit during which he speaks to the NP in training and talks over your head. The imaging is pathetic at best--and you waited almost 2 hours to be seen. Couldn't be any worse.

Dr Most is extremely talented at what he does. My surgery was painless and my scarring and bruising were so minimal I couldn't even believe it. In fact the moment I woke up from anesthesia, I was ready to run a marathon, lol. I would highly recommend Dr. Most to anyone. He's not just in this business to make money, he's in it to teach the future surgeons of the world. You can really tell Stanford University cares about their patients because every time you step foot inside they are handing you surveys asking about their cleanliness, staff, etc and your satisfaction with everything.
