Dr. Safwan Malas

Dr. Malas is an excellent pediatric GI doctor! He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and kind. I always felt my children were in the best hands under his care. I felt completely comfortable and reassured whenever they needed a procedure as long as he was the one performing it. My daughter is a patient of his and he is an exceptional Dr. My daughter suffers from several GI issues and I've taken her to the emergency department on quite a few occasions and they were never able to find out what the issues were. Dr. Malas is a very thorough doctor and was able to find out what the problems were and was able to treat her effectively. He is a very compassionate Dr. and truly cares about his patients. Dr Malas was incredible to our family. He treated me like an equal. He made my daughter feel safe and secure. He then referred us out to Motts Children Hospital when he knew he needed bigger facilities and more specialized doctors. This man saved my daughters life. He went to bat for us so many times.
