Had cataract surgery in both eyes and the results are more than I could have wished for. Dr. Hannush and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with. Kind , caring and very professional

He doesn't have a great bedside manner, but he is the best at replacing a lens.

Amazing experience! Dr. Hannush and his entire staff are wonderful. I have had several visits and each time was very positive. Dr. Hannush is very caring, professional and a true expert in his field. I saw Dr Hannush for a shingles infection in the eye recently. Dr Hannush and his office are top-notch. They were friendly and fast. The exam was thorough and comforting. Dr Hannush is extremely knowledgeable and was very kind. I know I'm in good hands with this practice and cannot give them anything less than 5 stars.

I too had a bad experience trying to schedule a consultation. Practice representative was rigid and curt on the phone. My own knowledge of my eyes was not sufficient to them to bother scheduling an appointment.

After a rude experience trying to make an appointment, I looked up reviews here. They asked me to get a referral, of which I did. They then never called me. Nancy S. above's review was dead on. If they feel like you are not a candidate for surgery (or make $), they don't even call you. It's not about you getting help or answers.. its only about $. AVOID THIS PLACE- find another Doctor.

Dr Hannush’s bed side manners are out of this world! As a surgeon, he is amazing!!! No God complex here!! From consult to post-op appointment was the most unbelievable experience I’ve ever had with any doctor, especially a surgeon. You feel as though you are his only patient of the day. He makes you feel comfortable & explains the procedure step by step. I can’t say enough about him! As far as Dr Hannush’s staff both at the office & surgery suite they are equally A #1. The staff at both places are caring & helpful. I have never gotten an attitude of any sort. At the office the staff answers the phone so that you get the feeling they’re saying hello with a smile. I have found the staff to always being polite & helpful as to any need I might have had. The nurses at the surgery center are tops in my book. They easy your anxiety & make you comfortable. They were patient & showed compassion as if every patient was their only one. You can tell that the nurses enjoy working with both Dr Hannush & the anesthesiologist (I’m sorry his name escapes me at the moment.) & you didn’t get the feeling that there was tension amongst all the staff. Everyone seems to get along rather well which definitely carries over to the overall feeling in the surgical suite. I give my whole experience with both Doctors, nurses & staff to be 5 star rating. ????????????????????+++. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate Dr. Hannush and his staff. I was referred to his practice from my friend who had lasik 15+ years ago and spoke very highly of Dr. Hannush. When I went for my lasik consult, every staff member called me by my last name and introduced themselves. When I met Dr. Hannush, he's very nice, down to earth, honest and a great listener and he took his time explaining everything to me. I told him how much I appreciate how friendly his staff was. Brian, Lisa & Karen are some of his staff but who I dealt with the most and they are outstanding and you can tell they care about the patients. When I went in for the lasik procedure, the staff was great and ensured I was comfortable. The procedure went great. I had some extra dealings with Karen as the eye drops I was taking didn't work out too well for me but she called me to keep checking in and is just a really kind person. If you're ever considering having Lasik, I would highly suggest getting a consult from Dr. Hannush. As of my latest follow up, my vision is 20/15 so I'm glad I went through with it! Very impressive. Professional, informative, friendly and cordial. I couldn't have been in better hands. I had 2 cataract surgeries, felt no pain whatsoever and now I see better than I have ever seen in my life.

Couldn’t be better

I was referred to Dr. Hannush for help with my lumpy corneas. He recognized the condition immediately and we went ahead with the procedure to correct the issue on the same visit. Now 1 week later and though my recovery still has some time to go (just as predicted) my vision in the treated eye is already nearly perfect. The doctor and everyone supporting him have an outstanding bedside manner as well -- especially Karen. Thank you all! I was referred to Dr. Hannush for help with my lumpy corneas. Dr. Hannush comes across as very professional and charismatic, but if your procedure doesn't go well, he turns into the invisible man and doesn't want to take the time to help. Wouldn't recommend eye surgery with him to anyone.

Dr Hannush and his entire staff made my Lasix, my fathers cataracts and now my moms cataracts a very positive experience! Specifically Dr Hannush’s professionalism, kind and caring demeanor puts patients at ease with their surgical experience!

My family has known Dr. Hannush for over thirty years. He is an outstanding physician and is the nicest person. You could not ask for anything more in your physician. I highly recommend him!!

Excellent caring physician,,in depth expiation, available for questions, able to contact at any time. Kudos to Dr Hannush!!!

Dr. Hannush seemed very thorough and assured me he could help me with problems I was having as a result of LASIK surgery. He stated he would call me in one week. He never called back and I followed up with my general ophthalmologist. Also, his office staff charged me too much for my co-pay, though I questioned them at the time of the visit. Sure enough, my insurance company verified they charged too much and I have been trying to collect the refund for several months.

Rude office staff . Wanted to get an appointment for a consultation, but apparently if they don't feel you are a candidate for surgery you are not worth their time. Rude!

I highly recommend Dr. Hannush. He is kind, compassionate, and caring. Explains procedures thoroughly, listens to concerns, and answers all questions. Due to Fuchs Dystrophy I needed a cornea transplant in each eye, very frightening. Dr. Hannush assured me that all would be fine. When the bandages came off, my first words were I can see!!! No discomfort or pain. 6 months later I had the second transplant. Thanks to Dr. Hannush and my donor, sight is restored. How wonderful to be able to see

The decision to have corrective vision surgery can be a stressful one to make but if you are in the Philadelphia area than you must consider meeting Dr. Sadeer Hannush. Dr. Hannush has an excellent bedside manner and degree of professionalism; he has a wonderful and caring staff; he went to medical school, residency, and fellowship at top rated institutions; he teaches at Jefferson Medical School and is an associate at Will’s Eye Hospital. Dr. Hannush performed corrective laser surgery for me yesterday. I started the day with 20/200 vision in my worst eye and left my follow up visit with the Dr. today (I’m not sure if these results are normal) after he confirmed I now have 20/15 vision! My overall experience was exceptional and I will whole heatedly recommend him to all of my friends and family.
