Ruth Ann Lowengart

I do not recommend Dr. Ruth Lowengart. She spent 20 minutes with me for an appointment that was scheduled for 1 hour, most of which was spent sitting at her computer not looking at me. She yawned throughout the entire appointment, and she did not seem interested in figuring out what I had going on. All within the one appointment she told me that I will be dizzy for the rest of my life, I most likely have a tumor on my audio nerve, and I have bone spurs up and down my neck… until she actually took the time at the end of my appointment to look at my X-rays and see the opposite of everything she said. She did a few minutes of craniosacral work, which did nothing for me. A month later I received a threatening bill in the mail from her office staff saying they are not willing to wait until the auto-accident I submitted goes through. Now I’m expecting to pay $385 for a 20 minute appointment that made me feel 10x worse than when I went in. Do not waste your time or money with this office.

Wasn't very helpful to me. She didn't look at me when I talked to her, she always looked into her computer and took notes. She only gave me a handout for a stomach tightening exercise when I came in there for whole body help where I have had sciatica and low back/hip pain for many years. She was short and curt, and I could tell she wasn't really concerned or interested in helping me.

I really love dr Lowengart just to start she save my life taking me out of my dependency and addiction to opioids ( oxycodones ) after 15 years on those I feel free and in peace besides that she is helping me with my back pain . I highly recommend my dr .

Dr. Lowengart is amazing, IMHO. Intuitive. She put together a BUNCH of my symptoms, not just the one I was being for, and I am FINALLY getting answers! God bless her!

Dr. Lowengart is unlike any physician I have ever seen and I will never be able to fully express my gratitude to her. She has treated me for my chronic issues since around 1994 and I truly don’t know what I’d do without her. I just got in urgently on a cancellation today and once again, she figured out the root of an issue and physically worked on that root rather than sending me home with a pain med as many others might have done. So grateful for Dr Lowengart ‘s management of my pain! She listens and answers all my questions. She gently manipulates the trouble areas and I leave feeling better. We are so fortunate to have her here in Medford!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ruth Lowengart for better than 10 years. When I could find no help from the then "physician", I was seeing, who was ordering electric stimulation under a misdiagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome, a coworker referred me to Dr. Ruth. On the first visit she correctly diagnosed my condition as advanced Spinal Stenosis, ordered a MRI and convinced me to have the necessary Neurosurgery. I appreciated her straightforward honestly and, thank God, listened, had the surgery and was restored to my full functioning. Dr. Lowengart is an excellent Dr. with clear questions and treatment. She does not waste your time/or hers but addresses what is needed and gives wonderful homework. Seeing her almost 2 years after an injury, I saw some positive results for the first time. I respect her and highly recommend her.

I can't say I know how she knows exactly what to do to help me, but she does! Everytime. I was barely able to walk without horrible pain, I left pain free! Another time I had upper back pain that was so painful I couldn't work, turn or take deep breaths, she had me pain free in 24hrs!! This is all without medication. When other doctors really don't know how to help or just send you to expensive physical therapy, Dr.Lowengart actually diagnosis the problem and helps you fix it!! I can't recommend her enough.

I felt better after my very first Dr. Ruth session. I live in high desert country and I suffer migraines. One of my migraine triggers is changes in weather. Our weather changes so often and rapidly that I get locked in a cycle of chronic migraine for months at a time. Dr. Ruth started treating me in the Spring when high desert weather changes are the least predictable. I have been migraine free since that first session despite wild weather. After four sessions with Dr. Ruth I am grateful and amazed at her pain relieving skills. I believe Dr. Ruth is healing the root of my migraine rather than treating symptoms. I highly and frequently recommend Dr. Ruth to folks with pain that other healthcare professionals have not been able to help relieve. awesome, she really has helped my wife for many years. I feel she views our health and medicine as a calling not a "profession" in which profit is everything. highly recommend her as a physician and an ethical person in general.

Dr. Ruth Lowengart, MD, is a marvelous diagnostician and medical practitioner. She knows her way around natural treatments but is not shy about prescribing medication if she thinks that's best. She not only listens, she hears you. She talks to you! It's usually a very short wait to see her I usually leave in much better shape and pain free (if pain was the problem), knowing what to do next and what to avoid. She is very popular and busy, but can always find time for you quickly if necessary

I work at a grocery store and I have a customer come in with crutches and say she is in the worst pain of her life she limps she looks miserable. Went to dr. Lowengart 1 time and now she has hope! She can walk barely limps and swears she has major fingers!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lowengarts since the spring of 2002. I am fully convinced that she is a miracle worker! I have come to her with pain so bad I couldn't walk, let alone perform daily funtions. I have had whiplash, knee dislocations, nerve problems, muscle spasms, headaches and a number of other issues. I put my faith in her experience and knowledge. In a short time I was hiking Table Rock, rafting the Rogue River and completing my degrees. When life handed me more challenges she continued to give me her best efforts, support and shared ideas to encourage me to be the most comfortable in my life, despite my own bad choices. Even as a car accident left me disabled with permanent injuries, I am thankful I can walk and function without pain medication. Her natural approach to my healing was mind blowing. I have learned so much about body function, nutrition and the healing process because of her efforts and willingness to work with me. Dr.Lowengart is a incredible Doctor, I have had nothing but the best care. Her ability to diagnose and heal is what she does. I highly recommend Dr.Lowengart, she is the best D.O in Oregon-West Coast. The office cares and very efficient. 5 ⭐️

I would not recommend this person to anyone. She was unfriendly and gave no greeting on first meeting. Her manner was terse, even blunt. Her response to my symptoms was dismissive, skeptical, and uncaring. After over an hour of conversation it was clear she did not hear a word I said about a long term problem that changed frequently. Her diagnostic conclusion was wrong. I was so angry at this poor outcome I refused to see her on a follow up appointment. A waste of time and money.
