Dr. Russell James Caputo

Not impressed. Wants payment upfront and not willing to work with patient. Also I see a lot of new faces in his office which is unsettling. I had an agency hygienist on one visit who was unprofessional and just recently had a young hygienist who didn't know how to spell. There are better places out there. I plan on searching for one. As for the dentist he spends very little time and at times seems disinterested. I am even questioning a root canal I may not have needed. Sad.

My entire family were patients of this practice and I am telling you we have all left . The attitude of the practice is not that of friendly or patient first. I tried to resolve a problem for my father who is 93 years old and they were not open to helping or even bending in the direction of resolving this issue. I had someone tell me my Dad had fallen thru the "cracks" of their system, still not help. Patient beware, you need to be on your toes to deal with this group.

If I could give negative stars I would. Caputo left a piece of file from a root canal up in the apex of my root. These kinds of things happen, but he never told me it was there. He allowed me to leave his office full well knowing it was there. I now have to have the tooth pulled, with a bonegraft, and implant, because the file has caused an infection. I filed a claim with the Dental Board of Ohio, and now Caputo is trying to send me invoices for $ I don't owe. You've been warned. Run away fast.

I've been to numerous dentists. Will keep this one. Have been going to them for about five years, always on time, always able to get an appointment when needed, and always very nice, and gentle with their work, with great results. Thank you for making one of the things I hate most in the world, going to a dentist, not a horrible thing!
