Dr. Rumi Ahmed Khan

One star is actually too high a mark for this practice. We’ve been with them…Dr. Khan for 6 1/2 years now and he used to be great. I. Don’t know what’s happened by my husband has a terminal lung disease( pulmonary fibrosis) and it took 4 months to see him while my husband was battling pneumonia or so we thought. They have a patient portal they don’t read. Apparently never get scan results that were to rule out something as serious as cancer and critical blood tests were ordered by another doctor and was sent to them. My husband found out his blood results through quests portal. They one of which being Johnathan .. the ARPN said oh yeah we did get you scan I’ll read it and get back to you. A month later he hasn’t . Since then the blood work has come back with some alarming results indicating another critical disease. Haven’t heard from a soul there. These results are sent digitally in a day or two. So no excuses since we have it they should too. I would not send my loved one there unless you have a death wish. We’ve lost 4 months of critical care and now have to seek out Shands or Mayo. Thanks Orlando health. Dr Khans office. Your patient care is far below acceptable. It was my very first visit,so I was quite nervous, and quite surprised at the diagnosis. He prescribed medication (2), but did not explain about them.

Saw him in ER. No bedside manner. Gives no Info, Rude. Cannot get follow up appointment with him for 2 months. He is a Medicaid doctor mainly. I am not medicaid. Bad information. Bad diagnosis. No follow up. Schooled outside U.S. Want real doctors? Get out of this State. You will live longer. Sunshine is not a trade off for health and life.

I would recommend Dr. Kahn to family & friends. He very knowledgeable and really helped me with my asthma.
