I went there I could barely walk and they didn’t help me because my insurance lapse and they didn’t tell me. Than they charged me $178 for doing nothing worse hospital in Maryland so disappointed

This hospital use to be a magnificient hospital to go to. Now they fall under the good help is hard to find. They are the lesser of two evils. No one one answers the phone. People are very reluctant to help. They leave you sitting in the emergency rooms and this is after they have called you to go to the back. Maybe the people have worked there and are burnt out. Maybe your hospital needs a new complete overhaul of people. From my experience your employees are just getting a paycheck because you get no results. Ive been holding on for 29 minutes then a recording came on saying leave a message and someone will return your call. Stephanie in dr. Selyas office never and I mean never answers her phone. Ive been trying to communicate with her since May. Then she submitted incorrect paperwork I was told by my insurance provider leading to them not approving the procedure which had been approved before but not utilized. So if they approved it once if paperwork was submitted properly it should have been approved agaiin with proper medical terminology. Stepanie at ext 2011 maybe you should quit or take some time off if you dont like you job. You sound like you dont wanna be there. Plenty enthusiastic people are looking for job positions. Emergency room care was good. Dr. Marshall was great. After she left all others were terribly rude. I was asked if I wanted domething yo eat, turkey sandwich, I waited and waited never came. They brought this plate looked like dog food. The nurse on the floor was rude and awful. I did not want to share a room with others. They would not give me a room alone. The nurse was talking to the doctor about I did not want to take the medication to try to get me to relax for a MRI and started laughing. I asked was there something funny. This is the absolute worse medical facility I have ever used. I was admitted to the emergency room with septic. My primary called ambulance and this is the closes hospital. The emergency room Team did their jobs. They stabilized me. That is the best of the service. I went from reactionary care to the next. I sat in body fluid for two days until my nurse decided to address my wounds. Then another two days passed before all of my wounds were addressed. The Hospitalist(general doc) responsible for coordinating my overall care dropped the ball so many times that I lost count. He failed to identify the entry wound for the infections until I pointed out. The Infection disease and the surgeon failed to do any type of physical. I stead the used cat scans to look for fluid that was clearly present. This pattern continued for seven days. When I asked to leave they refused to transfer me. Then the refused to create a discharge plan. I asked each specialty doctor not one doctor had a long term or short term plan. So now I have to check myself out go someplace competent and start this process again. I really think these people would do me harm. This is the absolute worse medical facility I have ever used. Came in waited 5 mins for the paper work to be processed and seen. While being seen had excellent staff of nurses and doctors work with my breathing issue. I was admitted into the ICU unit and the staff in that unit was professional and kind and did their job accordingly.
