They are preying on desperate parents who would pay any money to help their child. His research and practice isn’t even the latest in pandas. He’s very confident that his way is the best way - which is basically throwing a ton of antibiotics and antivirals at these fragile little children and hoping one of these drugs will work. Hence some of the positive reviews.

Both my niece and son have been seen by Dr. T. for pandas/ pans, and he was able to help both of them. I travel from Kansas with my son, and appreciate everything Dr T has done for my son. I dont think he is too expensive as he is a multi specialty Dr., and I have never had any issues with any of the staff. I have always gotten replies when I sent email. Dr. T. always spent time going over all my son test results etc. Thank you Dr. T!

Dr Trifiletti is a very uncompassionate dr . Mary happens to be a very large problem. I spent $1600 on 2 visits and his summary report was utterly horrible . Nothing is explained . They are overwhelmed with patients and should be closing the list off its not fair to take this large amount of money from struggling family and pry on their desperation to help their child. I believe yes hes experienced but not with older adults. He rushed my last telemedicine visit didnt explain nothing from 22 tubes of blood. Mary tells the dr things that aren't accurate about emails and calls. I would never ever recommend him please save your money and seek another dr that is willing to be patient, listen, have compassion. He is very money driven and very unprofessional asking me how much I pay to my sons GI DR. So i am out $1600 with no help and half a paragraph he should no nlonger be accepting patients its relevent to say he cannot handle his case load now. and the rudeness in his emails from a dr are

My sister took her son who has been ill for 8 months to dr trifiletti and was thrilled that someone was actually paying attention to my nephew. After the first round of tests she and her pediatrician from Maine requested information. Dr trifiletti essentially cut my sister off, cancelled her follow up appointment, signing off on his case...seemingly bc he was annoyed that things weren’t proceeding based on “his plan/on his terms/on his timeline”. I am absolutely outraged. I can’t even convey the anger I feel. I have never heard of something like this happening in the medical profession.

I can't even begin to tell you how Dr T, Mary, Paul & Donna has changed my daughters/family life. They are the most caring and friendly office we have ever been to. Dr T is an expert on Pandas!!! After 15 years of seeing many Doctors & Therapist (to many to name) and being misdiagnosed . When we found Dr T. my daughter didn't want to go I had promised her this is the last Dr. so please go don't give up... She went & was very angry she didnt even want to look or ta talk to Dr T. after 3hrs. we left with hope. I'm not even sure if my daughter would have been alive today if not for the treatment and care from Dr T and Mary & staff. Mary answered emails/calls quickly. The compassion and love that Mary has to all of these children is amazing. My daughter who is now 17 will stop in to just say hi to Mary if she has an apt. in the same building. Mary and staff makes this whole Pandas disease a safe and friendly environment for our sick children. Dr T & Mary will be in our life forever.

Wow... What an amazing Doctor. The care and attention that Dr. T Mary and staff gives to my child is beyond amazing . We now have a better understanding of the horrible disease Pandas. If we have any question or concerns the office Manager Mary gets back to us right away. Prescriptions are filled immediately. Even when we went on vacation Mary called me right back after speaking to Dr T. for my concerns. This is a safe and friendly environment for our daughter. I can't not thank Dr T, Mary and staff enough. Mary and staff truly love and care for these children.

Incredible practice. Dr. T saved our son! Our family sought out Dr. Trifiletti after 3 YEARS of misdiagnosis and mistreatment of our 7 year old PANS son. He is brilliant, compassionate and patient...He takes the time to listen and explain every step of the way. His staff is incredible, professional, friendly and helpful. Finding the PANS PANDAS Institute was the best thing we ever did for our child.

Worse experience. Doctor is not knowledgeable at all. He hears the story and orders the same tests for all patients and finally will no conclude anything.. Very expensive and money minded and doesn’t accept insurance. Why on earth any doctor will not accept insurance? That’s itself explains in something is going on.. Staff is the rudest you will ever find. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY FOR HIM TO LIVE A LUXURIOUS LIFE...

Dr. Trifiletti, is compassionate, brilliant and positive he also isn't afraid to actually look at the child as an "individual" when diagnosing/treatment. Dr. T. understands the complexity and resources that need to be used to treat his many unique patients from all over the world. Someday maybe other specialists can learn from him so our children don't have to suffer so much due to the fact they don't dig deep enough. Dr. T. digs "DEEP" and will find the answers you are looking for.

This man was is a life saver. Without him we would have never discovered the true reason for my sons issues. After meeting him and just a simple suggestion many of my sons issue we were able to get under control. Dr. Trifiletti is a brilliant man who care about his patients and the family!

No guidance, no direction...just tons of money and tests and zero answers. Look elsewhere for a partner who has time to help your child

I went to the office on February 4th bc I suspected PANS/PANDAS for my son and it was $800 to tell our story and get blood work done elsewhere. Dr T said he would request my son's genetic work so that on our next appointment ($500 more via Skype)we could discuss any genetic predispositions. A month later & right after the call receptionist Mary asks that I sign release paperwork so that I could find out on the NEXT visit about genetic issues! I expressed my concerns strongly & Mary got nasty!

Dr. T has been our pediatric neurologist for 4 years and counting. He is one of the few qualified doctors in this country with expertise in the very confounding autoimmune encephalitis condition, PANDAS/PANS. He is a sole practitioner with a very busy practice, as parents of suffering PANS children come from all over the nation and globe. He gave us our son back and we see him periodically to manage what is a chronic illness for many. We have no prob getting prompt appts. WE LOVE DR. T!

Best doctor and human being i never meet. He's an angel!

Bad experience -long time to get an appt, they don't take insurance (even though it says they do on here), didn't return my emails/call when I said my son was getting worse, and lastly, on my follow-up appt DR. did not call me. After 1.5 hrs and several emails, I had to leave. I was so mad, I wanted to start over with another Dr. but they had already charged my credit card! My husband talked to Dr. the next day, my son still had strep. He had test results for 3 weeks! Why wouldn't he call?

Dr. T saw our daughter 2 times, in 5 months. He ordered numerous tests and determined that she needed IVIG treatment. He agreed to arrange for our insurance to cover the treatment. He never did the paperwork. I said I would pay directly, then he said he could not do the treatment because of office construction. My child was suffering severely and he were repeatedly lied to us about treating her. After weeks of lying, abandoned her altogether after taking thousands of dollars from us.
