I went to Dr. Martin for a second opinion on my bunion issues. I learned so much more from him, than from the first podiatrist I visited. Dr. Martin was extremely personable, and very professional, along with great listening skills. More importantly, he was very thorough with his examination, diagnosis and treatment. AND he wasn't so quick to slice and dice me like the first podiatrist! When I do need the surgery, I will definitely trust him with my complicated condition.

I’ve gone to Dr Martin for a while now. Every appt I have felt like he has listened to me and helped me. My pain level has gone from a10 to maybe a 3 on an off day. I do recommend him. In regards to the two bad marks, the office is clean and decent looking. And as for scheduling, that isn’t an office manager thing. They do that because of cancelations and likely whomever actually owns the office requires that they make x amount in profit per month. Billers send out bills. Insurance companies fight them. So payments are sporadic depending on which insurance company is involved. As for medical records, the fee involves time involved transferring them and is regulated. It depends on which group the dr works for and their policies. It likely has nothing to do with Dr Martin or his office manager.

Dr. Martin is THE best! I trusted him years ago for my bunion surgery, which was a breeze when you have an excellent surgeon. For my latest foot surgery, I drove an hour each way to Flint for my visits (every few weeks). He was worth the drive! He got me back on my feet again. Dr. Martin is caring and compassionate and really knows his stuff! I’m always confident that I’m in good hands. On one occasion I left without my pain medicine script and he actually met my husband, by my home, that evening. Who does that? Five stars, highly recommend.

Worst place I have ever been staff make .mistakes and lie about them nasty office manager unprofessional likes to book a bunch of appointments to milk the insurance...

Took my son to Dr. Martin after getting a great referral. Awful experience. Office and rooms are dirty and tables have tears. My son conditioned to have issues. We are now going to another dr in Ann Arbor. Dr. Martins office wants over $50 for copies of our records to take to new dr. Staff is rude. Do not go here. Find someone else.

Great doctor that listened and took his time. He was able to figure out what was wrong with me that 2 other podiatrists couldn't figure out. He did surgery and I am fully recovered pain free

Great doctor! A doctor who used to work at home depot during medical school. He gets it. Really down to earth, compassionate, treats you like a person and doesn't rush you thru the visit. Wish most doctors were just like him!

My husband needed foot surgery on both of his feet. We went to Dr. Martin and he was extremely nice and informative. Dr. Martin did both of his surgeries and everything went Great! My husband is fully recovered. Dr. Martin is the only person that we will ever trust with our care. Joe and Kim

I went to Shelby foot and ankle when I started having ankle swelling and pain. Dr. Martin was a great listener, was concerned about my condition, asked a million questions; had one nurse tending to me and another typing on the computer...impressive. He ordered blood work, wrapped my ankles and prescribed meds. I was better in 2 days. My PCP did nothing for me. I'm not out of the woods yet, but this doctor really cares.
