I went to Dr. Channell for him to remove my ingrown toenail. I was very nervous about the procedure and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The entire experience from start to finish was a breeze, and I felt like Dr. Channell really cared about me and my experience. I told him I wish he was my primary care physician!

I heard of Dr. Channel from his work with the elderly in the community. His staff is extremely pleasant and his detail to all of your needs is amazing. It's great to meet someone who listens and cares about what you have to say.

Dr Channell was my father's doctor. Always punctual and very attentive to my father's questions and concerns. Great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Channel very highly.

First of all, Dr. Channell's practice is a Blue Cross/Blue Shield preferred provider (at least at the time that I'm writing this). This is how I found them in Fishtown. After speaking with Dr. Channell about some foot issues I'd been having, he recommended custom fit orthotic insoles to correct the situation and to prevent further injury. After doing a little research I found out that custom orthotics are indeed covered in my Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan and I went ahead and made an appointment for a fitting. It only took a few weeks for them to arrive. I can't believe how much of a difference they make! Now when I wear shoes that don't have the custom insoles in them I can immediately feel how my foot oversupinated and how over time that was causing recurring injuries. Custom orthotics can be expensive, but don't hesitate to spend the money on them. I wish I would have gone to see Dr. Channell a long time ago. I highly recommend his practice for both his knowledge and the customer service of his staff.
