Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also referred to as rehabilitation medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with physical disabilities. Pain management is often an important part of the role of the physiatrist. For diagnosis and evaluation, a physiatrist may include the techniques of electromyography to supplement the standard history, physical, x-ray and laboratory examinations. The physiatrist has expertise in the appropriate use of therapeutic exercise, prosthetics (artificial limbs), orthotics and mechanical and electrical devices.

I’m honestly shocked at some of these reviews. DR. G saved my dads life! My dad was on deaths door when he went to Parham Rd rehab. Dr. G tweaked his meds daily to get him on the right path. Talked to ALL of his specialist docs to make sure they were all on the same page. Dr. G has command of his knowledge and does no waffling back and forth. I don’t know what shape my dad would be in right now had it not been for him. Dr. G THANK YOU!!!!! You gave me more time with my 86 year old dad ????

He is my son's doctor. Talks too much and too fast. Doesn't listen well. Evasive and non-committal about treatment plans. Hard to get a straight direct answer. Some of his staff acts the same way.

I have been treated numerous times by Dr. Giordano because I was a patient in the Rehabilitation Hospitals he ran. Dr. Giordano does not listen well to his patients and often discounts the diagnosis of the patient's regular doctors. He seems to be too busy to care. His bedside manner needs a major overhaul.
