Dr. Steiner, his nurses and all of the staff of Oshner New Orleans were amazing for my baby’s surgery. They were very personal and made us feel at ease. The nurse called us by name ever time and went get toys to play. Every one that was going to be a part of the surgery came and spoke with us prior and a follow up after.

Avoid this place with all cost! They are protecting Dr. Steiner who pushed an unnecessary procedure on a infant. Not only was it unnecessary it was done incorrectly. Now this baby has to endure a life time of pain due to his negligence. He needs to be removed from your hospital and put under investigation instead of concealing the wrong doing this man and paying for fake reviews. This man does not belong near children . You are a children hospital, you are supposed to help children not due more harm. There is no telling how many children this man has neglected.

What you did to that baby should get you fired I hope you never work in another medical institution for as long as you live

He is just horrible.

Horrible surgeon and human being. Does not care about his patients or their families. He is a liar and a failure.

What you did to baby what was very unprofessional and you should get your license taken away and go to jail. I do not recommend this doctor at all. Please stay far away. He would rather just profit off those who are suffering. Very unprofessional, i suggest finding a doctor who actually cares and listens.

Dr Steiner was awesome! He had great bedside manner with my teen and I. He took the time to chat with her but explain in detail everything until she understood and was at ease about her procedure. His nurse was also extremely sweet and thorough.

He was a very awesome surgeon took very well care of our daughter

Do not recommend considering you gave my child who at the time was no more then 6-7 pounds an 18fr bard gtube; and when it started leaking everywhere tried to blame ME by telling me he was “malnourished.” After begging you then ripped said bard out of his stomach which I asked for him not to get in the first place and then when it started bleeding the next day accused me of “being dramatic” when I took him to the er. I held my child as he screamed because of you, while your friends covered up for You. I had to get on a plane and fly over 2000 miles to get what you did wrong corrected. You allowed my child to suffer instead of simply helping him because you did not want to take accountability. I never cared that you messed up, I cared that you tried to make it look like I was the problem when it was you. My daughter loved the Doctors at this Office. The Doctors are Amazing with kids. Very polite, friendly, and they loved having conversation with my Daughter, which she loves to be including in, LoL. They were making jokes and laughing together and to be honest it was the most laughing my baby did since she cut her leg and had to get stitches. Dr. Steiner, and his nurse, Mrs. Sheryl, are amazing. Their knowledge and professionalism is only surpassed by their wonderful bedside manner. They made the surgical process with my infant son, what could only be described as a parent's worst nightmare, as stress-free and painless as humanly possible. They spent just as much time putting my mind at ease, answering all of my questions in detail, as they did actually caring for my son. Every time I called the doctor's office the nurse answered the phone, I've never had to leave a message and anxiously wait for a return call. Literally every experience I had with the surgical team was easy, thoughtful, accessible, and (about as) stress-free as possible, considering the circumstance. I highly recommend Dr. Steiner and the team at the Ochsner Pediatric Surgical Center. Dr. Steiner, and his nurse, Mrs. Sheryl, are amazing.
