Robin M Ciocca

I’d seen Dr. Ciocca for minor procedures for 10 years; she always told me she would never sugarcoat anything. She is a straight shooter, truly cares about her patients & their well being & so relatable. Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Ciocca has consistently kept me calm, took extra time to talk options through & answered my many questions. Her expertise & confidence is beyond valuable to her patients. I can’t be more thankful to have her on my care team!

After some concerning MRI results, I was referred to Dr. Ciocca by a nurse navigator to seek a second opinion. It was the most unpleasant visit that I have ever experienced in my life. To be clear I have never written an uncomplimentary review until now. She entered the room with arms folded, spoke to me in a condescending manner, was curt and actually laughed in my face...As a patient who has had breast cancer, her treatment was not appreciated nor was it warranted. I left her office feeling humiliated instead of guided and encouraged.

1st routine mammo resulted in abnormality spotted in L breast. Follow up u/s. Radiologist not concerned. Rec. follow up mammo and u/s in 6 mos. Nurse practitioner at OB/GYN rec. having it looked at by breast surgeon to err on side of caution after reviewing report. Went to Dr. Ciocca. 1st appointment with Ciocca, she made me feel incredibly stupid for even being there, was extremely abrupt, and made me feel unimportant. Questioned why I was there. I explained it was rec. of nurse practitioner. She continued to be very curt, seemed bothered that she had to examine and talk to me, and told me she would do a biopsy if I wanted, but not necessary. Chose not to. Rec. follow up mammo and u/s in 6 mos, along with follow up visit with her. 6 month follow up mammo and u/s resulted in abnormality being stable per radiologist. Waited for over 1/2 hour in waiting room to see Ciocca after mammo and u/s. She yelled out reception window questioning why I was there, that she didn't need to see me.

Dr. Ciocca is the best She is great at keeping you informed while diagnosing. She is caring, a good listener, and a real person. She calls you. You don't have to call her..

It has been a few years since I have seen Dr Ciocca. She was beyond wonderful! Her clinical expertise helped me immensely. I remember that she gave me a fair, un-biased assessment of my situation. She really listened to my concerns I felt heard. She effectively treated my condition and also really saw that I was struggling and provided a helpful hand when I needed it most. Her follow-ups were more comprehensive than any Dr. Highly recommended!
