Dr. Yapundich was wonderful. He took his time and explained everything to and answered all of my questions.

The -ONLY- reason this review is even getting two stars, is because Dr. Y was polite enough to reach out and call me, personally, from his cell phone to apologize. Although, the call was more or less to come off as a decent enough person for me not to leave a bad review about. But, this review is not JUST about Dr. Y, but even more-so, his entire staff. For starters, I never leave reviews, good or bad. But, especially bad reviews because I understand people can have bad days....Coming from someone who has been experiencing seizures and epilepsy for going on six years, I know all about bad days. I had a grand mal seizure while I was working in December of '21, went to see Dr. Y... He added a new medicine to my daily concoction, which I had SEVERE side effects from. I spent days trying to reach out to his office, left messages, with no response. Until I got a message from CVS with a new prescription notification. No one, no staff, nor doctor could even call me back to ASK me any questions, about how I was feeling/what kid of side effects... just sent another $400 prescription I couldn't afford to my pharm. So I had to figure out, on my own since my doctor failed to return my calls, how to wean myself off of this medicine I was currently struggling with.... doing so has caused me to have an abnormally high increase in focal seizures... so again, I try to reach out to my doctor... with no returned phone calls. So I get off work early, to go make an appointment in person. When I walk in, the staff, Dr. Y included, is all laughing and cutting up behind the desk... mind you this is 4:00 in the afternoon, with the phones ringing, and not being answered. I proceeded to inform the short haired lady at the front desk that I needed an appointment, that I had been trying to call and make one but no one would return my calls, and how I was having active seizures and needed a doctor. She doesn't ask my name, nor my DOB... she just laughs in my face telling me she can't get me in until May. So I ask to see a different provider, she informs me I would not be able to switch back to Dr. Y (WITH HIM STANDING IN THE BACKGROUND) and I said, "At this point, I really don't care, I just need make an appointment with a doctor" ..... who continues to laugh in my face telling me she could squeeze me in, IN APRIL. I left the office in tears, while the staff and doctors continued cutting up. Using excuses like "You don't receive messages until DAYS later" doesn't cut it, reach out and retrieve your own messages. I understand epilepsy doesn't have a whole lot of answers, it's a lot of trial and error..... but sometimes all we need is a Doctor who cares. and Dr. Yapundich is not that. I had made an appointment weeks before, and only a few days before my appointment they cancelled and was going to change it till September. My appointment was in June. That was unacceptable and unprofessional. I have horrible restless legs, day and night. I could not wait. They did not even provide me with an option to see another one in another town. I normally am not a person to complain. I was able myself to find another Doctor who got me in right away. You need to treat patients like they matter and important. Your front staff the only thing they could say was I am sorry. The only reason I am leaving one star is because years ago a friend was treated and did very well. I love Dr. Yapundich. He's got Super polite staff when you call, too.

Well I was told by receptionist when I was trying to get result appt. NUMEROUS times HE DID NOT SEE YOU in Hudson, she was so rude I had to end call...called a week later to try again, I got NOT YOU AGAIN, I TOLD YOU HE DONT,( DONT) lol go to Hudson , I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE FOIBG HERE)...hickory is where I live too!!!!??

I have been trying to get to the bottom of neuropathy and back concerns and though Dr Yapundich has had to refer me elsewhere he has been the point person to keep things moving in the right direction. Always seems to listen and work for what is best for the patient.

Was very relaxed during the discussion. I was very impressed by Dr. Y at the end of the appointment I felt like Dr. y would come up with answers as to what was my problem for falling. Excellent Dr! Connie and Alice are awesome as well.

I have MS and Dr. Yapundich is the best in this area. It can be difficult to get an appointment but if you can wait, it’s worth it, of course if you can’t let the office know! He’s one of my favorite doctors.

Empathetic, caring, and thorough physician. Great personality for the job role. Along with knowledge and education, doctor maintains superb beside manner and makes client care the priority! Highly recommend for all of your neurological needs!
