I was admitted to hospital while having a heart attack. After seeing if stents were an option Dr. Walcott preformed bypass on a Saturday. He saved my life such compassion given all the years. Thank you and God Bless

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Wilcott to anybody that wants to live, because that's what my dad wanted. Dr. Wilcott suggested he have a "small" surgery to remove my dad's non aggressive lung cancer. Well the staples ended up coming apart right after surgery causing a huge leak in his lung, the Dr. waited 10 days to try to fix the leak and ended up having to do emergency surgery and had to remove his entire right lung. Then decides to go on vacation while my dad is having to be on a ventilator and ECMO machine in ICU. They just kept my dad on machines for another 2 weeks and then made us take him off the machines right before Dr. Wilcott was going to return from vacation, said there was nothing else they could do for my dad and that they didn't keep patients on the ventilator for more than 2 weeks. As far as I'm concerned, the Dr. messed up,took vacation and didn't want to deal with our family. My dad was alive and well before this. Do NOT go to this Dr. save yourself or someone you love!

Dr. Wilcott did my quadruple bypass and his team also did my carotid artery surgery at the same time . Dr. Wolcott and his staff treated me with the utmost respect . I find Dr. Wilcott to be very personable and caring . He watched over me closely in the hospital where I was for three weeks. He is the very best heart surgeon in Texas . He and his team were instrumental in trying to save my left leg but it failed and my leg was amputated (not by Dr. Wilcott). I would highly recommend Dr. Wilcott to anyone in need of a heart surgeon . He has a great bedside manner and also a good sense of humor. This man works like he is a machine doing up to four heart surgeries in a day . This man saved my life .

We knew carotid artery surgery was serious, but in our visits with the doctor and our research, we did not expect the complications we faced. 2 weeks after the surgery, my system was locked to the point of almost renal failure. After a week in the hospital to try to get back to normal, I was informed I would need prostate surgery, but had never had a problem before! 1 week after the prostate surgery, back in the hospital for excessive bleeding. Wilcott informed us that I did not have to taper off the prednisone I was taking, was not using the bathroom normally after his surgery and I feel had he been more attentive, just maybe, these problems I am facing would not have occurred. As a very active person, being confined is very depressing!!

I had the privilage to have Dr. Wilcott as my when i had a very serious medical situation he had to remove my lung after a tumor was found. He was caring and comforting thru the whole process.
