Very happy with my first visit. Katie was amazing !

Went to er in Martin's ferry Ohio found out i had a tubal pregnancy he decided to keep me overnight and do surgery in the am. After surgery I asked for a nicotine patch they said I couldn't get one but the nurse said I can unplug my iv machine and go across the street. Went to smoke came back i was discharged. The Dr was mad that I had went and smoked. Didn't know anything about my surgery to this day(surgery was in 2011) all I know is I had a partial tubal and he found endometriosis in my right tube he cleaned out. Very friendly doctor and staff! Was very understanding of my circumstances and was always making sure I felt comfortable. Answered all my questions, was very fast and accommodating at getting me in as well.

Dr. Wetzel talked with me over the phone before I was even a patient. He answered all of my questions regarding a particular procedure I was interested in and gave me clear answers and recommendations and explained why he prefers one procedure above another. He got me in quickly for my appointment and I was in the OR within 5 days. He was very professional and listened to my concerns and I was extremely satisfied with my experience and outcome.

My only complaint about is the paper gowns. It adds to the already awkward situation. But Dr. Wetzel is absolutely amazing. He explains medical issues without putting patients down or making them feel inferior. He not only found a way to tell me that I needed to lose a few pounds without making me feel like a hormonal whale, but also told me a great way to do so. As for the medical condition that I seeked care for, he was able to develop a plan that actually worked!!

Dr. Wetzel and his staff are simply amazing. The environment is very nice and kid friendly. He answers any and every question toware you are able to understand it. He is a really great doctor and person and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He delivered my second baby and it was my best experience.

Dr. Wetzel has been my dr. for 12 years. I have never had any trouble getting in to see him if needed. He answers all my questions and explains in easy to understand language. Staff is courteous and friendly. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Wetzel refused my epidural while I was in hard labor because I didn't want to take Pitocin, but he never informed ME he was going to do that until I was told by the nurse while in hard labor & had to have my baby naturally with a whole lot of pain. His staff had urine samples unlabeled & all just sitting together when I was told to just put mine with the rest of them. I was told I had an STD from these urine samples in front of my husband who was told he had none.

Dr. Wetzel and his NP were the only medical professionals in this valley that took the time to listen to me. Their staff was polite. I was very happy to get treatment for something that had been affecting my life for years.

I have been going here for 14 years and I love the staff and the doctor. They have always been wonderful to me, and during my pregnancies Dr. Wetzel has always taken the time to listen to me and discuss anything and work with me to make me feel comfortable. I don't know how anyone can say negative things about him or the staff. I love them there and recommend many people. I don't want to go anywhere else.
