Dr. Robert N. Weinreb

I had an excellent experience with my cataract surgery. Dr. Weinreb performed the surgery himself, and it far exceeded my expectations. Prior to surgery, I had poor distance vision even with glasses, so much so that at one point I failed my vision test in renewing my drivers license. My goal for the surgery was to acheive decent distance vision. My vision now is sharp and clear, being 20/20 and 20/25 with no glasses needed. Couldn't be happier.

Dr. Weinreb is an excellent doctor, a no bs kind of guy. He will not waste your time telling you what you want to hear - he simply gives his professional advice without understating or overstating the facts. Do your homework, he is second to none, probably the most respected Doctor in the world when it comes to Glaucoma surgery and research. My wife and I are extremely fortunate that he is our Doctor.

He claims only wants to treat seniors after he gets your money from doing surgery, then he dismisses you from his care. He's rude, condescending and arrogant. Tells you off for no reason and makes you wait hours to be seen. Because he is the Chair of the department, he thinks he is God and all of his staff learn from him how to treat people. He is not as great as he thinks he is. Don't waste your time here, it's not worth it. After a year of being bullied by him I have had enough!

Dr Weinreb is the best in his field. I've had Glaucoma since I was 38. He has saved my eyesight. ( now 79). Last week we had the blessing of attending 25 years of Celebrate Light. We were once again reminded of the Positive impact that Dr Weinreb and his staff have made around the world. Thank you Dr Weinreb and Team. Appreciated Jerry and Jacquie Grinstead
