Dr. Robert Matthew Smith

I was very impressed with Dr Smith. He took time to listen to my concerns and explained my options along with the pros and cons of every option. The front desk was also very welcoming and clearly explained the process.

Very professional and thorough.

The staff and doctor were wonderful. But a year and half later my big toenails look terrible. I should of asked more questions because I don't think they will get better........

Okay I don’t write reviews very often. So I am the BIGGEST baby ever, and when I decided it was time to pain free with my ingrown toenails, which I have dealt with all my life not to mention the numerous pedicures that were so painful!!! Enough was enough Robin Dr Smith assistant was my girl, I was terrified I mean terrified I was crying in the the waiting area, and brought a stuffed animal to squeeze (I’m 49). Dr Smith eased my mind as robin held my hand and guess what? I survived and I won’t have to live in pain ever again. As far as procedures go not my favorite however pleasant enough to where I won’t be as scared when I have my second procedure done. Okay I don’t write reviews very often. Mr. Smith is the best MOST awesome person that I know of. He has helped me live pain free

This Doctor is one of the best! I had plantar warts, and he took care of me for a couple of years. He knows his work and is personable, kind and caring.

For more the 6 years I have had issue with my right foot. I saw multiple podiatrists and specialists in Colorado Springs and Denver. Each of these specialists gave me a different diagnostic... Gout, torn ligaments, bone spurs.... with associated treatments that had no effect. I even try regenerative medicine without success. I moved close to Longmont and in a moment of despair and pain, I did a search for a local podiatrist. Dr. Smith was able to see me within a day of contacting his office. Within 5 minutes he was able to diagnose my issue and fixed it. I have been pain free without foot swelling since then. Friendly and welcoming staff, knowledgeable doctor... Easy choice. I’ve seen numerous podiatrist for my feet issues and first thing they want to do is surgery. So that’s what I believed I needed for treatment of neuroma. I also believed that they must be right and reluctantly was seeking that out after moving to northern Colorado. My first time to The Colorado Foot and Ankle Clinic in Longmont with DPM Robert Smith has definitely changed my mind and thank goodness. Who wants to go under the knife? NO ONE! I feel his treatment plan for me will have me back on track and I’ll be able to workout and get back to my active lifestyle that I love. I am so happy that I chose this office. The staff is kind, down to earth and professional. Dr has great bedside manner, sense of humor (I appreciate this as Needle was going into my feet) and knowledgeable. I don't write many reviews, but I needed to here. Dr Smith was absolutely wonderful with my 14 year old who is deathly afraid of doctors and needles. He was very patient and explained the answer to every question she had. He said things to make her laugh which helped immensely. He is very knowledgeable. I know why he gets such great reviews. Dr. Smith and his staff are terrific! I have not had this kind of wonderful service in years. Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable, Kind, compassionate, friendly and helpful. He is very good at explaining and discussing options. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I went in because of Plantar fasciitis and got great treatment and left feeling better. Highly recommend this Doctor!

Dr. Smith was so kind and gentle.He explained things in great detail which helped me understand my diagnosis and the treatment he was suggesting.He prepared me well for the cortisone shot I was going to get and I was so happy when it didn’t end up being as painful as I was expecting.Robin is a great asset to Dr. Smith’s office.She is a vibrant and friendly person with knowledge in so many areas and she is able to communicate effectively. This team works well together to provide exceptional care.

Not happy with the results nor the amount of money it cost! Won't go back. Not very good on follow ups. Dr Smith has contacted me and is trying to resolve this problem.

Dr. Smith is the best!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Smith based on his outstanding service, integrity, and compassion. Dr. Smith has been my podiatrist for several years after having limited success with my GP for several foot issues, specifically stubborn toe fungus and big toe arthritis. I'm happy to say Dr. Smith quickly and effectively diagnosed the issues and helped me work through effective treatment options. His passion and energy is remarkable and he always takes the time to listen. So refreshing to work with a doctor like him.
