Told us "small, insignificant tumor" found on CT was absolutely NOT causing the problems my dad presented with. He refused to treat it or send us to uab, my dad died less than 2 months later and death certificate names this "insignificant tumor" as the cause of death. Saw his Nurse Practitioner during my stay in the hospital. She was horrible. He followed up with an in person visit and verbatim repeated what she said. I cannot walk or write and they gave me no answers other than to follow up with him in his clinic, and they will do another MRI in 6 months. Again, I can't walk or write.

Dr. Slaughter is fantastic. After over a decade of no one being able to successfully treat my migraines, he was able to give me the correct medications to manage mine. He's hard to get an appointment with because he's amazing. But once you do, he's worth it.

Dr. Slaughter is unprofessional and unreliable. He had an EEG conducted on family member, but never took the time to read results. We made calls to his office and even to the hospital - received no response. We wanted to know what was the cause of our family medical condition and Dr. Slaughter only avoided us. Please seek medication attention elsewhere, because he is unprofessional and ineffective as a doctor.

I tried to get an appointment here for three weeks after a referral from AFC in Tuscaloosa. I left 4 voicemails and never got a call back... This was incredibly frustrating especially considering the severe migraines I have been experiencing following a concussion as well as losing time quickly before going away for a month (I called more than a month before I am supposed to leave so I wasn't being inconsiderate in the least). The receptionist was some old woman and she gave me the WORST customer service I have ever received from a doctor's office.. She was so disrespectful there is no way I'd ever give my money to this place. I feel sorry for the doctor to be represented by such horrible staff and losing business because of it. Don't go here. Dr. Slaughter came into the room and made me feel like a person not a problem. I appreciated his bedside manner. He answered all of my questions, gave me all of my options to the best of his knowledge, and gave me an exam. He took his time. His confidence in my diagnosis made me feel better and wish I could use him as my primary neurologist. He was fantastic! I have a pretty good feeling he treats everyone this way. He was consistent each time I saw him. Thank you, Dr. Slaughter.
