Robert Duglad Robinson

Dr Robertson has done all of my surgeries. I would recommend him to anyone. The entire staff is professional and friendly.

Dr Robinson is a highly skilled neurosurgeon that I've had the pleasure to work with professionally and watch operate. When my father needed consultation for a very difficult spine condition, Dr Robinson was whom I wanted him to see.

Dr Robinson has been taking care of me for several years. Another surgery coming up soon. Looking forward to a decrease in pain. Plus, he was trained by my friend and the best neurosurgeon ever, the late Dr. H. Evan Zeiger - may he rest in peace. I sure miss him.

Dr. Robinson did a great job with my 3d spinal fusion. As a surgeon, I’d give him 5 stars but because of the problems with how his office works, I give him 2 stars. What good is a physician if you cannot get an appointment? The 2 stars are because his office is absolutely impossible to get in touch with. When you call, you never speak to a human. You always have to leave a voicemail, even to get an appointment. I left a voicemail 13 days ago requesting an appointment because I am experiencing a lot of pain one level above my last fusion. 4 days later they called and I was away from my phone. I called back within 30 minutes and again, no human, just had to leave a message in which I reiterated the fact that I was in significant pain and please call me back for an appointment. So here we are 9 days after the 2nd phone call and voicemail to them and still no one has returned my call. I give up. If this is the best he can do with staffing his office, I will go elsewhere. It isn’t worth the hassle. There are other surgeons who have office staff that you can actually speak to and you don’t have to jump through hoops getting an appointment.

I think his office is just to busy. I went to him before Christmas and his office was supposed to get back with me and I have not heard from his office yet and it’s the end of January. I called his office and of course no one answered the phone I was sent to voicemail and told to give them 48 hours to return the phone call. I think this is a sign to find another neurologist.

Dr Robinson took it upon his self to put hardware in my back without asking me to do so. Now I'm worse off.

The best sergeant I've ever had He has found more stuff And fixed it I wouldn't let nobody else touch my back neck or head other than doctor Robinson or Pearson or Doctor kuhn I cannot say thank you enough And their office staff are all just wonderful And explain everything to you Schedule everything and just their unbelievable

From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, the staff was Amazing!! Dr. Robinson is a Wonderful doctor, Great bedside manner, answers and explains what's wrong and what can be done to help you!! His nurse is Amazing and Very Informative as well!! He is awesome. Wonderful bedside manner and he has operated on me and I feel better after.

I have had 8 spine surgeries, 6 of which were performed by Dr. Robinson. All were very successful. TIharrecomrecommended

I've suffered from chronic back pain for years now but February 2020 is when it got so bad I could barely function. I was referred to Dr Robinson and haven't looked back. I unfortunately have had 4 back surgeries with him this year, but each one was absolutely necessary. From the minute I met him he was very informative, sincerely cared about my well being, and just got down to business right away instead of brushing my concerns off. I would highly recommend him and if I do need more surgeries, he is the only one I would let do them. Dr. Robinson is an awesome awesome doctor along with his stuff. And his Nurse Practitioner Wendy Connor is awesome as well they help me through two operations under there care. You cant beat anyone better. When I first went to him all the symptoms I was having no other doctor had no explanation but he knew exactly what was wrong and was able to fix it. I’m glad so many of you have had great experiences I however have not I have serious back problems and because i am a smoker I’m looked down on and refuse to help me the office girl that answered the phone talked so low and mumbled so until it was hard to understand her so because I am a smoker I guess I will have to learn to deal with the pain

I have been trying for 3 weeks to get my mom a appointment with Robinson.I have called spoke to office staff throughout the 3 weeks and counting.My mom is in need neurosurgeon and this office staff can care less. My mom had chose Robinson due to previous surgery he done on her. Imagine the heart break when I had tell her I cant even get the office staff to acknowledge her to give her a appointment or return calls. They untruthful about receiving referrals in which they received. You have staff telling you all kinds of stuff just not to give appointment. I hope this message is received by the doctor. The way the staff handling your calls and your office is negligent and wrong.

He did a Lumbar Laminectomy where a area of my spine was closed in to about 5 mm. He said it would be same day surgery and would be instant relief. Usually there is something one can pick apart and say it could have been better in some area. From going to Dr. Robinson's office and meeting his staff to meeting Dr. Robinson to going to Grandview for presurgery to going to Grandview the day of the surgery everything with everyone was perfect in every way. He did a cervical laminectomy on me 5 yrs. ago.I have done so well with it.Would highly recommend him to anyone.5 stars for sure.

After undergoing an unsuccessful laminectomy five years earlier by another surgeon, I decided to listen to friends and see Dr. Robert Robinson. He not only corrected the damage done earlier but successfully removed a cyst that was causing me severe pain. I am very impressed with Dr. Robinson and highly recommend him to anyone needing treatment for back pain.

Office staff is super. Dr. Robinson is the best.

The BEST!! I always said I would NEVER have any type of back surgery.. My back decided differently. I knew who I would trust. Im very happy and thrilled !! Very thorough and precise information before and after surgery.

I had disc replacement in my lumbar and cervical spine..Dr.Robinson is the best my back hasn't given me any problems it's been over 3 years now. Unfortunately I'm seeing him now for another issue.im positive he will patch me up and I will be good again soon.

Dr. Robinson is an amazing surgeon. I suffered for years with shoulder, neck and arm pain and numbness due to a neck condition. Dr. Robinson performed my surgery and when I woke up from surgery I immediately noticed that all my pain and numbness that I suffered from was gone. Dr. Robinson recently performed surgery on my neck. He is fantastic, very caring and professional! Everyone in his office has been friendly, helpful and easy to work with. I'm so thankful I was referred to him.

I was in a automobile accident that changed my life. I couldn't turn my head at all. If any i had very little. I had gotten two opinions and they both told me the only way I was going to get pain relief and any quality of life was a major surgery. This was going to be my third neck surgery. I done research for months and Dr Robert Robinson was highly recommended. I met people that had used him. They were all very pleased. This was in 2012 and now it's 2018 I waited bc I wanted to see the outcome after a lot of time. Dr. Robinson performed it with his partner. I'm not completely what I was but I knew that wasn't a realistic attitude. I have almost full range of motion in my neck. I even had hardware put in my spine. It was painful but he kept me very comfortable. Dr. Robinson is the best you can find. He doesn't have that I'm better than all other people. It was the best decision I have ever made. My quality of life is so much better. Now I have a beautiful grandson and without my outcome I wouldn't be able to enjoy him. I'm thankful for this surgery. He was totally honest with me. I've met my share of Neurosurgeons. Dr. Robinson treats people with respect and he's very good with your family.The nurses are great on the floor at Brookwood Medical Center. The care I received was the best. Whoever you choose my advice to everybody a good positive attitude, the surgeon, and the care you receive will affect your outcome. I'm not perfect but he never said I would be. Now my quality of life is wonderful compared to the life I had before my neck surgery. I would recommend Dr, Robinson without hesitation. I went to Dr. Robinson with constant neck and shoulder pain. After MRI he instantly pin pointed the problem. He was very forthcoming about what he could do to help me while being very personable and compassionate. I had neck fusion surgery Dec. 14, 2017 and had a complete success. Dr. Robinson got me out of pain. Other than the expected post-op pain, I have had no pain since! This man gave me back my quality of life!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Robertson and his staff. From the minute you arrive they are caring, compassionate and the patient is their top priority. I have had two surgeries done by Dr. Robertson. One cervical and one lumbar. I am 100% pain free which gave me my life back. I would highly recommend Dr. Robertson. He is not only a great neurosurgeon but a good person in every way possible.

Fixed ongoing nerve problems in neck when nobody else would. Rescued me from 14 or more years of agony, & am so very appreciative. Ensured that pain was managed throughout recovery. Professional with good ability to communicate.
