Robert Reiter

I thank God everyday for finding Dr Reiter at UCLA. He Performed my prostate surgery in Sept 2019 and I think he is one of the leading prostate surgeons in the United States. I had a gleason 9 cancer, my surgery went well and my psa has remained undetectable. I would recommend Dr Reiter for anyone with prostate cancer! Thanks DR Reiter for your excellent care.

Before selecting Dr Reiter, I met with two other surgeons at different hospitals. UCLA residents told me that he is one of the top doctors performing this procedure in the U.S. so I felt in good hands. He achieved everything that we both hoped for. I feel that I made the right decision, both in Dr Reiter and also in UCLA.

Very kind , intelligent and sensitive man. Good listener and explains things very well in layman's terms. He did my radical prosectomy surgery and there was some metastasis. In short he did extra surgery above and beyond the norm and I credit him with taking the initiative to save my life. My highest recommendation.

If I could give a higher rating to Dr Reiter I would. I was all set to go to NYC and have a big name MD perform my nerve prostatectomy but after speaking with Dr Reiter my wife and I decided that he was the guy to do mine. He explained that he had not performed 7,000 surgeries and that he would take a little longer during surgery than most but that he was confident that he would be able to successfully spare all of my nerves while successfully removing my prostrate. He did just that. Four weeks after surgery some slight incontinence was the only thing different that before I had the surgery. My scars are barley noticeable because of the way he went in right above my navel. I knew I was in good hands from the moment I met Dr Reiter. He is the man!!!! If I could give a higher rating to Dr Reiter I would. Dr. Reiter did my PVP in 2005. In 2011 he said I'd never have to worry about Prostate Cancer. In 2015, with hematuria, a total PSA of 6.1 and a free PSA, % free of 12 (equals a 35% Cancer probability), he said and did nothing. On Valentines Day 2018 with a PSA of 18 he told me I have Prostate Cancer. He screwed up. He knew it. He couldn't wait to get me out of his exam room. If you want to survive, DO NOT go to Dr. Reiter!
