Dr. Rains has been my Orthopedic for a couple decades. Found my foot problems when no one else could. Gives choices of care. Teaches you about your health issue and often chooses noninvasive treatments before going to surgery. You are never forced into anything you do not want. I like his personality, and his wit. I recommend him absolutely.

Always treated with upmost care and very personable staff.

I have been a Latin of Dr Raines for years and saw several doctors and I can actually say he is the most gentleness orthopedic doctor I have meet I’m very blessed to have such a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Raines was thorough and answered my questions. He treated me with respect. I appreciate that he and his staff were all punctual, and very nice.

Dr. Raines is one of the Best Ortho Surgeon out there. I trust my life with him. Staff is friendly. Wouldn't go any where else.

First of all Dr. Raines excellent doctor no doubts about it and his staff excellent BUT>>>This office desperately needs an automated door opening system I used Uber and there currently is not an automatic door opening push button device. I was by myself for this appointment and door opening system is manual which in my case I had to open the door partially - maintain my balance and push door open with my right hand maintain my balance on one leg and then quickly block door open with my walker before it closed shut to gain access - it took 4 repeated efforts like this to get a wide enough opening for me to enter - then when I left I had do same process over again - this is unsafe for me to do just to enter and exit - bad part is I'm in full view of the staff and they didn't assist me just stared at me - what's up with that - much improvement needed here a more conscious minded staff but most of all a automatic door openly device - not all patients have someone accompanying them - this needs to be remedied First of all Dr. Raines excellent doctor no doubts about it and his staff excellent … More

Very professional. Explains the treatment plan so that you can understand. Takes time with each patient. His staff is wonderful and very helpful.

Top Notch surgeon and surgical team! Dr. Raines did my left foot years ago and now did my right foot. Patient friendly and my wife really liked that he took the time to meet with her after surgery to let her know how it went. Highly recommend Dr. Raines and his top notch team.

Excellent experience with Dr. Raines. He was immediately able to diagnose the issue with my ankle. The whole surgery experience was very comforting as well. If you're having issues with your feet or ankles I would highly recommend Dr. Raines.

Dr. Raines and staff are very professional and personable. They provided me with thorough information about what to expect right after my ankle surgery and for the longer term recovery.

DR. Raines is very hands on. Checking my ankles and giving the injections himself rather than relying on nurse to do it. He does a great job explaining what needs to be done. I've heard he's the best and I'm trusting him with my ankle surgery next month.

I got to tell everyone in the practice what was happening with my foot except the doctor who appeared to be more interested in training the resident and scheduling surgery than in my injury. I was made to feel like my follow-up questions were a nuisance. One answer stated, "...which it states in the literature."

Dr. Raines is pleasant and thorough in explaining his diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis plans. He performed ankle reconstruction on both of my ankles; two and three years out and they both function much better than they did prior to surgery.

Dr. Raines has performed superlative surgery on both of my ankles. On my first ankle issue, he called me personally as soon as the MRI results came in - never had a Dr. do that! When I suffered a broken bone in my foot due to an auto accident, he found the fracture that another Dr. had missed. The following surgery went well. For foot and ankle issues, Dr. Raines and his staff are top notch, and I would trust no one else. His practice is affiliated with a teaching hospital, and I have usually had a resident in on each office visit under Dr. Raines' instruction. The fact that Dr. Raines teaches other upcoming MD's is a testament to his expertise. He is thorough in his explanations, and is among the best MD's I have experienced in relating well to patients. Dr. Raines expertly repaired my severed Achilles tendon. The tendon had a large bone spur and much of it was not able to be salvaged to use in the repair. So he got very creative and clever and took another foot tendon to attach to what was left of my Achilles, looping it through two new holes in my heel. I am now 1.5 years post-op and doing very well. I was in extreme pain prior to his repair, unable to walk without a cane, cried daily, and lived on Aleve. Now I walk independently, and don't even notice my ankle. I consulted 3 surgeons and decided on Dr. Raines, and very glad I did. In addition to his skills as a surgeon, he provided me compassionate care, explained what he planned to do and what he did, and had a good sense of humor. His nursing and office staff were very helpful as well. I would recommend him to anyone with an ankle problem.

Absolutely fantastic. He walked me through the issue, solution, and recovery step by step and very clearly. Friendly in the office Nd seemed very efficient in the OR. EVERYONE that knew of him who asked about my surgery while I was in recovery had great things to say about him.

There's no better foot and ankle doctor around. When I was injured, I went to Beacon. The doctors at Beacon told me they couldn't fix my ankle, but they knew who could...Dr. Rob Raines. Yes he did! After the surgery, he was available at all hours and called me personally/1

I highly recommend you go to another Orthopedic Foot Surgeon or at least get a second opinion before allowing him to do surgery on you!

Dr. Raines repaired tendons to both my ankles. When I incurred foot pain due to a car accident, he caught the fracture that two other doctors had missed and did the repair. I'm an active guy, and Dr. Raines has enabled me to keep being active despite these injuries. After 3 foot/ankle surgeries, I hope to not need any more of this type. But, if I do, I will definitely see Dr. Raines.
