Great doctor I'll miss him alot

I have seen Dr Pastan once a year for 3 or 4 years now for my pagents disease . He is always professional and extremely thorough .Great at explaining everything thats going on with your condition . Excellent bedside manner and more importantly very friendly .

I’ve been going to Dr Pastan for the past 5 years. Always on time and very helpful. Takes the time to talk to you instead of to a computer. Very knowledgeable and involves you in the care decision process

I've only seen this doctor once and I thought that finally in the New England area, I would find at least a decent one. I got the medication that I needed and told to call my insurance to have them send paperwork to start the approval process. I did and got confirmation that it was sent to the Dr office. I called and was told 'No we do not have anything" and in the back ground the I heard the doctor say "Well she changed doctors" 1. Don't say that in the background in from of pother patients and 2 no I did not. Rude and incapable in the 21st century

A caring and attentive professional who has helped me deal with my RA successfully

I have been seeing Dr. Pastan for more than a few years in the same location. It is convenient and easy to find. He takes his time with me in finding the correct medication to treat my arthritis. He is always ontime. I like that I am not kept waiting like so many doctors do. He is a great doctor. We will be lucky to have him stick around long enough ro keep treating all his patients. I’ve been seeing Dr. Pastan for almost 10 years now. He has always listened to my concerns and worked out a plan of care that I feel comfortable with. He has some poor reviews because he won’t call in prescriptions for a patient he hasn’t seen in 3 years. No responsible medical professional would. He doesn’t know if meds or conditions changed. Additional poor rating for not sliding someone in when they missed their own appt. Too bad these two ratings affected his overall rating so much because he is truly a compassionate doctor. Very thoughtful and takes his time with you, not like todays door knob doctors he listiens and takes great corrective action.

I had app. Today June 3. Took time off from work.. I went to the wring office . why have no idea.... I called spoke with Nancy she said let me check with the dr. She came back on the phone. She said the dr is booked can't see me. What... This is terrible.. What happens if your sick and to see him. What dOrd he tell oh no go some place else... I have seen Dr Pastan on and off for 25 years. It's been about 3 years since I've seen him for a gout condition. I recently called his office as my gout has returned in my toes which prevents me from driving. Asked him to call in a script for me and he refused because it's been a while since I've seen him. How greedy can you get just because I couldn't make it to the office for him to bill the insurance. He showed no compassion and needs to retire as age has passed him by. I was recommended to Dr Pastan by my PCP, Dr Pastan is one of the best Dr I have seen, I've been seeing him for my RA for 9 years, whenever I call with a issue about my RA he calls me right back or will squeeze me in to see him, Dr Pastan is a very caring and understanding Dr, I would highly recommend him. He has helped me deal with my RA so much

When I first had a symptom of RA I could barely walk. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Pastan and he had a cancellation so I saw him right away. He examined me, asked me a lot of questions and explained that I either had an infection or that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis. He gave me prescriptions to help with the swelling and pain and sent me for blood work. I have been seeing Doctor Pastan for 10 years and I am so glad my PCP recommended him. He is wonderful.
