Dr Pascotto performed open heart surgery on me in December 2021. My surgery was a success and I have this marvelous surgeon to thank. Dr Pascotto JR was on call the night my wife at 60 years old needed open heart surgery . We were shocked to say the least, she is a health nut, works out all the time. Found out she needed triple bypass surgery immediately .. nurses told me how lucky we were to have him on call. I did some research while I was waiting for her to be prepped for the surgery and was at ease once I read about all his successes and all his accolades. Stop me from climbing the walls for sure. I can tell you the surgery was a huge success, found out her condition was hereditary. Dr. Robert Pascotto, Jr. saved my husband’s life! This past month, I drove my husband to the NCH ER because he wasn’t feeling just right. After several tests, it was detected that he had an aortic dissection & an aneurysm on his aorta. Dr. Pascotto performed emergency open heart surgery on him within a few hours upon entering the ER. Surgery was complicated, lengthy & successful. Dr. Pascotto is an outstanding surgeon who is very thorough, compassionate & has a great bedside manner. Thanks to Dr. Pascotto, his exceptional team & the quick diagnosis of the ER team, my husband, our son & myself can enjoy more years together. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Pascotto & his team. Emergency triple bypass for me and same for my brother in law couple years ago. We both over 78. Can’t see why anyone would leave a bad review. This guy puts it on the line each time. High risk patients. I’ll always be his “poster boy”. He my “Wizard”. Eternally thankful. NCH Heart Institute was fabulous.

Great surgery and hospital care!

Dr pascotto knowingly killed my father! He put the wrong size heart valve in and knew it on the first X-ray and lied and said X-ray looked good. 5 months of nothing but torture and a horrible way to slowly die. I never saw him once in that 5 months. I had to take him to physicians regional for them to tell me the truth about the valve. Never trust you or your loved ones in his hands. No compassion no nothing with this man! My dad was only 62 and this was his first surgery in his lifetime. Dr. Pascotto did not feel my dad was worth going back in for another 3 hrs surgery! I am so disappointed in this so called surgeon. He totally discounted the cardiologist comments and never bothered to discuss my thoughts and concerns. Came in looking like someone from GQ. Don’t know if is discounted me because of my age, weight or appearance. Never in all these years have I dealt with someone with less compassion. A disappointment for him as a surgeon and NCH as a hospital. I am so disappointed in this so called surgeon. He did open heart surgery on my husband and is an exceptional surgeon. He has the professional skill as well as the kind of personality needed during sensitive and anxiety filled times. I found him exceptional.

Dr. Pascotto is ALL BUSINESS; and is an extremely gifted surgeon. Not four those looking for a surgeon that sugar coats the issue or dances around it; we wanted someone "straight forward", knowledgeable and very skilled. We found out in Dr. Pascotto. He IS the best and is truly gifted.

Dr. Pascotto did open heart surgery on my aunt Servete S. about 5 weeks ago. He did an outstanding job, the procedure went successful him & his staff went above & beyond for me. Dr. Pascatto saved my life! My wife was told twice I was going to die after I had an aortic dissection. He is a wonderful surgeon!

Dr. Pascotto did emergency open heart surgery on my husband. Although surgery did not end until well into the night, he called me the following morning to update me personally. He and the entire staff at NCH cardiovascular recovery unit were amazing. They were great at comforting families but more importantly, I knew he was in good hands.
