Dr Ocampo was great!

Dr Ocampo gave me good direction for the cyst on my toe, they xrayed my foot and found what procedure was necessary. He’s very much on schedule when I’ve been in his office which I appreciate.

Doctor Ocampo is absolutely awesome! Great personality and easy to talk to. Resolved my issue immediately. Definitely one of the better doctors out there! Just a great guy and very professional.

Dr. O'Campo is an excellent doctor/ surgeon. I have been seeing him for over two years and travel from Lynchburg, TN. Would highly recommend him and his nurse!

Dr, Ocampo removed a cyst from my foot recently. Everything went so well and I was very pleased with his services from start to finish, including The Huntsville Surgery Center. I highly recommend Dr. Ocampo.

The doctor was easy to talk to, he listened to what I had to say. I did not have to wait for the surgery I needed I was worked in right away. Their office is convenient from my location and the employees are always cheerful and ready to help answer your questions. My doctor explained in detail what needed to be done and explained just what he was going to do before I had the surgery. Dr Ocampo's nurse was a very delightful person and helped me get everything I needed before my surgery date. I would highly recommend Dr OCampo and his staff to my family and friends, they deserve a five star rating. ***** Their office is also very clean and neat as well as the waiting areas and the restrooms. I waited an hour and a half after my appointment time and was called back just as I decided to leave. He spent all of 2 minutes with me and was rude, so I left and went to TOC where I was seen by a wonderful doctor. He needs to remember where his paycheck comes from. I met a lady two weeks later with a foot problem and said she went to see Ocampo who is rude to her. I see 2 other doctors at Sportsmed who are wonderful! . Let me just say it like this! I was beginning to worry about the fact that one of my feet had been bothering me and I had had xrays done and did not find any evidence of the reasons behind the pain and then the other foot began to act up the same so to make this long story short on this occasion that I went to see Dr Ocampo let's just say if I hadn't have been awake and watching him I would have sworn that he put new feet on me! I arrived at your facility early checked in on your computer (which I hate) but I got it done before my appointment. Was called back to a room where Dr Ocampo came in looked at my toenail that had lifted off the nail bed. He was able to cut it off. It seems to be growing a new nail. Was pleased with the procedure.

Of course Dr. Ocampo‘s nurse questioned me about my condition, passed along to Dr. Ocampo and it was clear that they communicated well. Dr. Ocampo was very personable and answered my questions giving me some recommendations and choices. I chose to have a steroid shot for my plantar fasciitis. He suggested inserts for my shoes for which they had downstairs at the brace shop. All went as expected as he foresaw and I actually came back three weeks later because the pain had moved to the side. I received a second shot. All is well now thanks to Dr. Ocampo. He took his time explaining everything to me as to what was going on and what need to fix what was going on.

I was Very glad that I got Dr Ocampo as my Dr. He was very kind and helpful and if I have any other foot related problems, I would definitely see him again.

Dr. Ocampo is a wonderful doctor...He is very personable and knowledgeable...He does not immediately do surgery...He tries other treatments to get you healed and back on your feet. He was very encouraging when I shared with him the problems I was having. He took time with me ...I never felt rushed ...I never felt like my questions or concerns were stupid...I would highly recommend him...I will go back to him if I have more problems with my feet...The nurses that work with him are wonderful also...They help calm your fears.. Felt I was dismissed. Went in for an issue with my feet, but was so put off, I didn’t even mention several other issues I was having. The nurse was nice, they had over booked so my appointment was an hour late for nothing and had to run to another appointment. Won’t be back.

Waited 2 hours before even could see the doctor. Was told that was normal fur all Mondays

Dr was clear and concise about prognosis and treatment. I understood and felt confident in his report and treatment. Much better than other podiatrists I’ve been to. Very happy.

I had just taken a seat when the nurse took me to the examining room. Dr Ocampo asked my questions and explained the treatment that was required. He and his nurse are truly professional.

This is my second surgery with Dr. Ocampo. He does wonderful work. I can’t be happier with my results. He’s very easy to talk to and takes time with his patients. I work in the OR full time and I will always recommend Dr Ocampo to anyone needing foot surgery!

Dr. Ocampo was excellent! I was able to get an appointment with him for my ingrown toe nail immediately when i called to set up a visit. I did not wait long in the office and he was able to do my procedure right there at the appointment. I was in and out of my appointment in 45mins with little wait time at all. Dr. Ocampo was very pleasant and was able to keep me distracted while doing my procedure with friendly conversation. I highly recommend Dr Ocampo. Awesome care and attention to what my situation was. All doctors should take note and realize, us as patients are more than a chart number. Dr O'Campo does. I highly recommend him to whomever may need anything pertaining to their feet. He is awesome! He is what we need from doctors today, understanding, informative, helpful!

From Day one, after years having pain on both feet, Dr Ocampo tell me what was wrong just touching them. Seemed like he can X Ray with his hands. Everything he said i had, was later confirmed by studies and X Ray. With the Huge plus from his well educated and warm human way to be. I can recommend him enough. Year after my left foot, i'd made the other one with similar process and success. Now, 3 years after finishing the correction on my hammer toes and bunionettes I'd completly forgot about my issues, but never forgot about him and his nurses.

If I could give no stars I would. Dr. Ocampo’s bedside manner is horrible. Today was my second encounter with him. I know everyone has a bad day, but this was not the first time he has belittled us (this time in an open area!) There are ways to explain your point in a non condescending tone. I think he forgot who hired who.

Saw Dr. Ocampo today for a third opinion, having been told by another podiatrist and an urgent care doctor that I have fractures in both my feet. He was dismissive with me, basically telling me there is nothing wrong with my feet. I am an ER nurse with 25 years experience and I can clearly see the fractures myself without an MD behind my name. I will follow up with MRI, but will seek another podiatrist for this issue which has persisted for 3 years now. Years ago Dr. Ocampo did surgery on a soft corn for me and I had a great result with minimal impact/hassle. Recently I saw him for nasty case of plantar fasciitis and he got me focused on which purported cures work and which do not (people tell you all kinds of stuff and you can really end up chasing your tail). My visit w/him was about two weeks ago and my PF is pretty much gone. I'm back to playing tennis. Also, Doc is a funny cool guy that's great to visit with. Love Ocampo.

Today was my 3rd procedure with Dr. Ocampo. Following two different surgeries for hammer toes, I had no hesitation in scheduling todays appointment. As expected, I was treated with utmost respect and understanding of my problem. Dr. Ocampo performed the procedure, minimizing any discomfort while doing so. I HIGHLY recommend him to others! Wait time was less than expected and nursing staff was truly exceptional.

The whole process was awesome! I really enjoyed the progression of the healing and patience that Dr. Ocampo shared with me. I would go back to have the other foot done.

Dr. Ocampo fixed a botched foot surgery from another doctor. The healing went much better than expected and I was up and walking in no time. I found him professional and knowledgeable. His nurse is absolutely fabulous.

Dr. Ocampo did a fantastic job of repairing my right foot after years of pain and disfigurement. I no longer have any pain and my big toe is finally straight. He is the best - my husband and I would not go to anyone else!

Dr OCampo was my husband's surgeon for his bunion several years ago. Dr OCampo did an excellent job and my husband has had no issues with his foot since his surgery. So naturally, Dr OCampo was our choice to treat our daughter's severe bunions on both feet. Dr OCampo and his staff deliver holistic patient care. He was very kind and friendly for all my appointments. He was also very caring about what pain and stiffness I was having after the surgery and helped me to get back to normal. My first visit to Dr. Ocampo and I believe I may have just found my permanent podiatrist. As a retired military pilot and combat boot wearer, you can only imagine the foot related issues that have cropped up over a period of three decades. Dr. Ocampo’s staff is charming, well spoken, and just plain easy to deal with. From everything leading up to my appointment, reminders, information during my procedure and imformative with followup care details- the left nothing out. Dr Ocampo is professional, eloquent, and while explaining the procedure makes every effort to ease whatever apprehensions you may have. He is what you imagine a hometown Doctor should be. I felt as if I’d known him for years after leaving his care. Quite an energetic and personable fellow. I had two ingrown toenails that needed attention. He cleaned and prepped the sites, sprayed this magical cold concoction which I believe was ethyl chloride. I didn’t even feel the two injections into the sides of both toes after he prepped the site for injections. Really! No pain or discomfort. Pretty amazing actually. We then waited approximately 15 minutes for the numbing to take effect, he started the procedure and I can’t state this enough- THE WAS NO PAIN!! After another 15 minutes, I was bandaged up, given care instructions on a piece of paper, told what cream was waiting for me to pickup at my local pharmacy and sent on my merry way. Dr Ocampo has a fan for life. My close friends will receive my glowing recommendation. This old warrior thanks you. Dr. Ocampo is very good at what he does and I keep telling him I should have let him operate on my toe 2 or 3 years sooner. Everything went as predicted. Everyone I tell about my surgery and who has heard of Dr. Ocampo says the same thing. he is the best.

Dr Ocampo was great! He explained everything about my bunion surgery in the office and what to expect after the surgery. He is a very caring and compassionate man who cares about his patients. He told me about everything I could expect accurately and as I truly experienced in my post operative recovery. He is a good man and a very skilled surgeon. My scar is almost invisible. I did exactly what he told me to do and had great results.
