Dr. Robert Nocerini

I went to Northstar joint and spine after dealing with back pain for over a year. Dr Nocerini had a very systematic approach to try different things which ultimately ended in me pain free.

I would highly recommend Dr. Nocerini to anyone looking for pain management care. He is smart, dedicated and compassionate. Under his care, my quality of life has greatly improved! I am grateful to be under his care. Mary runs his office and is truly wonderful, too!

I have been to Dr. Nocerini several times since November 2022. When I went to him, I was suffering from extreme pain in both knees due to osteoarthritis. He took control of my pain medicine, and made a plan for me personally. I was better after the first visit. He gives me all the time I need, and really listens to my concerns. His personal assistant, Mary, has gone out of her way to help me with anything I need. Especially working with my insurance company so that I totally understand what my out of pocket expenses will be. I am trying to avoid surgery, and He has shown me that maybe that is possible. I recommend Dr. Nocerini to anyone who needs pain management.

He was the first doctor in five years to even put hands on me, ie touching the area of pain, listening to my heart and lungs! Then he took a skeleton of the neck and back and EXPLAINED what was going on. He presented ME with choices! I’ve never had to wait past my appt time either! Thank you Dr Nocerini! And…his front office staff is awesome!

Dr. Nocerini listens, seeks to find out details about your pain and genuinely offers a plan to address your pain--not one plan for all. He understands what you are going through and wants to help you improve your health problems.

I really like Dr. Nocerini he really talks to you and remembers everything you've talked about. He is one of the best drs I've ever seen he's very friendly and very helpful. He explains everything to you. I will diffently recommend him to anyone that's looking for really good doctor. I feel very comfortable talking to him cuz he understands. My husband sees Dr. Nocerini regularly for back pain. When we first went in, my husband could not sit still for any length of time. Dr. NOCERINI Is a very patient and caring man who cares very much about my pain and has done everything possible to alleviate it.

Of the several doctors I've seen seeking pain relief from a knee surgery gone bad, Dr. Nocerini was the only one who helped. He tried 3 interventional procedures which were not successful but the 4th worked perfectly and I've been pain free for 11 months ! This doctor is pleasant to deal with, answers questions patiently and is tenacious in the goal of alleviating pain. Unlike earlier doctors who dismissed me saying there was nothing more they could do for me, Dr. Nocerini had several tools and was determined to bring me pain relief. I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Noecerrini is a wonderful doctor. I have struggled with chronic pain since 2004. He listened to all the surgeries I had, rehab and medications taken and made a plan that helped me with many issues. He doesn't just listen and sit ideally by. He does what he thinks is best and is happy to see me doing better. My prior pain Dr wasn't getting anywhere and I didn't feel confident in what he was doing. Naomi is the office manager in Rowlett and she is always kind and helpful. She returns phone calls unlike alot of offices these day. If you want a great doctor and staff look no further. The best Dr. I've found to manage my pain, and is always so nice and takes his time.

Dr. Nocerini seemed to be a good doctor. He interned at UTSW which is the hospital where my daughter has been treated since she was 18. However, his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. He told us at the appointment, if she needed her medication reviewed or adjusted, to call him and he would change it as needed. Well, that would be great, if you could ever get someone to listen. We have call multiple times, and seldom get a live person. We have left numerous messages and rarely get a call back (hours later). The office staff says she has to come in each time, and will never ask the doctor what can be done. She cannot take off work once a week, and her pain is unbearable. The one call I have received back, was argumentative, condescending and overall talked over me and really didn't care what I had to say. For someone who deals with pain 24 hours a day, this is not the type of interaction that is needed from a doctor's office.

Dr. Nocerini is an outstanding doctor. I have a lot of back pain and he has helped me get relief so I can function again and do the things I enjoy. He is very caring and listens to my concerns. He also tries different types of treatments that help reduce my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Nocerini for pain management concerns. Thank you Dr. Nocerini for your outstanding service.

Dr. Nocerini is very professional and focuses in on cause of the pain and test for alternative procedures verses using pain meds. He makes sure that his patients are comfortable and not suffering.

Dr. Nocerini has been helping manage my pain, caused by a deformed spine, for several years. His treatments and recommendations have allowed me to walk and engage in activities at a level that I would never have been able to before his care. He has approached my multifaceted back problem on several different levels to determine the best treatment to reduce my pain. I am very thankful for all of his attention and care.

I have only had a great experience with Dr NOCERINI. He is very attentive and listens to my concerns and treats my pain in ways that other doctors have just brushed off what is really wrong. He and his staff are always so nice. I highly recommend him.

Don't Listen to Naysayers. Both Dr. Nocerini and Vattam great doctors with super people on their staff. Dr. never rushed thru my appt. and was always concerned with my condition. I'm 71 now, but was injured at 18 while serving in Vietnam. I've lived with pain my entire life. If someone was unhappy here I'll eager it's because of thing going on with them ... like not taking meds as prescribed or being manipulative. I'd recommend to friends and foes alike. I've gone to this clinic for years and couldn't be happier.

I love Dr. Vattam and Dr. Nocerini. They’re both caring and non-judgmental. That’s refreshing.

Dr. Nocerini listened to me and was so kind. I was in so much pain. He was concerned about my mental health, telling me that pain and depression are linked. I found a therapist & psychiatrist (APN) at his suggestion. I feel so much better! The pain is still there, but not near as bad. And I can handle it better. I would recommend Dr. Nocerini to anyone searching for a pain medicine specialist!!

Seems to just walk through the motions. Was late countless times when I was first patient in. Never apologetic. Staff was horrible to some patients.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!!! This office is horrible and I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to them! The Dr acts like he has no power to correct the behavior of the people who work with him. They mistreated me and did not do what the insurance company needed for them to do to get my meds properly. They proved that they don't care about their patients. I have proof of every accusation. I'm in pain and they don't care. I wish I could do zero stars.

He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money for literally having the doctor sit with me for 10 minutes and to tell me he could not help me. He ordered a bunch of unnecessary tests that have cost me over $300 out of pocket with him offering no solutions.

NONE. I would NEVER refer F/F to this terrible CYA doctor and clinic. I've made the mistake of going 2x in 2 years, and each time refused to treat b/c 1st) I refused UA and left. I've had 2 neck surgeries, tons hardware, chronic pain, ie legit issues. Tried again today, weed clean and ready for UA, 2d visit) 1 hr wait said wont treat b/c of prior walk-out..Then why make 2d appt?? He is unaware of med studies in JAMA, et al showing 33% drop in opiate ODs in states with med marij laws. What a joke

HIs office staff was somewhat pleasant however he was not. He talked down to me as if I should know what he was talking about. I left frustrated and will never return to him or Texas Pain Relief Group. They over bill and seem to be crooks. I have never been on pain medication but felt like he was treating me like a drug seeker. Very disrespectful. The atmosphere was that full of drug seekers.

Excellent doctor and nurses very professional treatment is wonderful they really want to take care of your symptoms and relieve the pain would definitely recommend to others who have spine issues

Dr. Nocerini mirrored the epitome of a competent, caring and compassionate physician.

PLEASE do not see this doctor if you have been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. He knows next to nothing about the disease and his lack of knowledge makes it difficult for him to understand how the treatment plan needs to change over time. After I requested to see a doctor in the practice more familiar with the disease and pointed out that spondylitis was not even listed as one of his specialties, he had it added to this. He does not listen to patients who actually live with the disease.

I sawe Dr. Nocerini for the first time last week and he was very nice and patient with me. I have 8 years of workers comp and he immediately scheduled me for facet injections. I had them today, 2/8/2016 and other than being tired from the anesthesia I feel great and my pain is at an all low level. The next step is the dorsal stimulator .I have good things about this and have tried fro about 6 years now to get it. I feel that with his help I will have one soon and be able to eork again after 8yr
