Dr. Robert M Mihalich

Dr. Mihalich is the only doctor I would ever recommend for foot surgery. He did an excellent job fixing accessory naviculars on both feet. After many years of ankle pain, i could walk with no pain in my ankles and arches. He soon will be repairing toe joints on my left foot and straightening my toes so I can walk without pain. I trust him completely, and I am looking forward to no longer having pain in my joints.

The Arrogance coupled with the Disrespect for people's time (other than his Own), prompted me to 'share' my experience. FORTY FIVE Minutes waiting to be seen -nothing! When I came out of rm3 30 minutes into the appointment I was told he'll be right there. I don't care if he thinks he has the Hands of Jesus Christ, treating people the way he did is UNACCEPTABLE; to this patient. He was referred by my PCP whose judgement (referral) is now under review. D. Joel Petrie In re to your reply, why didn't one of you Staff (whose feelings may have been hurt) stop in to advise about the delay? Or is that Beneath you and your Business Practice. THIS FEELING OF SUPERIORITY NEEDS TO END unless your goal is to 'hit n run' your patients. Also, I contacted another Physician one step out of your Office. They will repair the surgery you did in 2020.

Avoid. Unless you wish to be treated as Income for this person. Trouble with the foot he performed surgery (2020), scheduled an appt at 9a. Sat in room for half an hour, came out and asked "What's up? Have I been forgotten?". "He should be right with you.". 30 minutes later I walked out. Arrogance is this persons aim in life. "I HEAL YOU, I DO WHAT I WANT". SEE You!!! Already scheduled alternative to fix your surgery. D. Joel Petrie

The Dr. Mihalich team did a great job. I was seen promptly, they assessed my fracture and I had surgery within two days. It's hard to believe that less than two weeks ago I had a busted elbow and today I am walking around without a splint and using my arm. It's not full movement, but that will come with stretching and PT. Thanks

Dr. Milhalich performed a total ankle replacement in July of 2021. I was 71 years-old and had severe arthritis and was bone on bone. I'm six months out and feel perfect, playing pickleball, and enjoying life where I previously could not. No problems whatsoever. Pain was minimal and was dealt with by Motrin for the first couple of days after surgery. Recovery time was quick, rehab was simple, and I was walking within 6 weeks. His office staff and support people were courteous, helpful, & professional. Total ankle replacements are not as common as hip or knee replacements. For that reason, I was somewhat skeptical. The results are so amazing, that I will have the other ankle replaced in the near future.

He and his staff - from the check in to the check out - are very friendly, helpful and informed. I sincerely appreciated to the detail that Dr M gave me after my knee surgery...very informative and knew exactly what I had to do to improve....thank you again!

Dr. Mihalich is second to none. His professionalism and kindness is spot on every time. I have had two surgeries performed by him and could not be happier. Also, his staff are all very professional as well.

Dr. Mihalich was good job to fix my fracture wrist. He sent me to physical therapy for 6 weeks. It improved and reducing pain. I also have meniscus tear and will have surgery next 4 weeks. Was able to fix my right ankle from being too hyper mobile. This was not an easy endeavor as I have hEDS.

Dr. Mihalich is always very personable as well as is his staff. He genuinely cares for treating the patient and coming up with best solution.

Dr. Mihalich did a great job with my first visit. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner. He was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great-they were helpful and patient. I highly recommend Advanced Orthopedic Specialists.

Sorry I didn't have a good experience with this place, feel like your in an assembly line... It's probably okay if you're some young kid that broke its leg and just need to get a cast but if you need long-term treatment forget it.

Dr Mihalich was great, but his office staff and the medical assistants are awful. They are rude, and very inconsiderate. Dr Mihalich is a foot and ankle specialist, so you would think that his staff would understand if his patients had any difficulty walking. They are absolutely terrible.

I broke my left ankle 2/3/19, surgery by another Dr. put it back together, 3 months later my ankle collapsed, that Dr. referred me to Dr. Mihalich, he put my ankle back together again, telling me I would eventually need an ankle replacement, I had 11/17/20. This is my worst injury ever, my experience with Dr. Mihalich and is staff has made it beyond bearable. I always leave the office felling that there is an end in sight. I've never felt rushed, all my questions are answered, all of the office staff is friendly, courteous, and professional, Gretchen sees that all my paperwork is processed smoothly and timely, I am 1000% a happy patient. I’m a nurse & am very picky regarding whom I go to. Dr Mihalich fixed my right foot, and he just fixed my left one. Everything from his office; which is organized & runs very well, to explanations of diagnosis to how to correct the problem, is top notch. Amazing surgeon! Thank you.

We were nervous when we found out my son had a bone cyst in his foot/ankle area. You never want your kid to go through surgery. Plus, it wasn't a very common surgery. Dr. Mihalich was recommended to us and we are so glad we entrusted him! Top Doctor! Plus, his PA, Emily, is extremely knowledgeable as well! My son healed right up without any complications! I saw Dr Milhalich because of a ruptured tendon in my left foot. He explained the surgical process and every other step to me in laymen terms and took as much time with me as was needed. Dr Milhalich was incredible in getting me back in action after a ruptured Achilles. He was thorough and made the process crystal clear. Had me playing golf in two months and surfing in three! Can’t thank him enough.

I can't recommend Dr Mihalich enough. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. I've had 2 surgeries with Dr Mihalich. He takes time with you and answers all questions that I have. I can't say enough good things about Dr Mihalich. He takes time to make sure you understand your condition and procedures that could help you. I felt like I was his only patient and never felt rushed. I did not experience any undo wait time in the office and the office staff have also been friendly. I had two surgeries with Dr Mihalich this year and he was wonderful and caring. He even wrote me to personal notes to make sure my recovery was going already. I had an ankle replacement this year and I can't thank him enough for the awesome job he did. It's been life altering for me. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

Had foot fusion surgery of 2 joints and after 1 year I am in worse pain than before surgery! I feel he thinks it's all in my head! I can barely walk now!

3 years ago I had a lis franc fracture and ligament Tear. I went to see him and he suggested surgery. After surgery I began physical therapy and found that it was too painful to continue and the therapist agreed. Upon seeing him again he stated I was experiencing nerve pain, which should subside within a few months. The swelling and pain continued and I was again seen in the office only to get the brush off and no answers. I recently was seen by another foot surgeon who told me that it’s not nerve pain I’m experiencing but stress fractures. One Of the fractures is at the site where the screw had been removed from my previous surgery. When going to the doctor be prepared to be treated important when surgery is a necessity. dr. mihalich was pure amazing on my full ankle replacement It was near to perfect and seeing him was just the same I never had to wait more than 15 minutes and everyone was respectful and professional A1 in my book to all Gretchen was amazing taking care of of my issues

Dr. Mihalich is very thoural and professional & so is his staff, he offered me non surgical treatments for my grade 3 ankle ligament tear and broken fibula when two other doctors said I must have surgery, Dr Mihalich said surgery couldn't get my ankle in a better position that it was already in. I have had my knee repaired here (ACL and Miniscus) and recently my Achillies tendon was repaired. I have had a great experience and feel great. My right leg has basically been rebuilt and I am still able to do the activities that I did before. I wanted to get back to playing soccer and ski racing and have been able to do both as good if not better than before! Thank you Dr Farjo and Dr Mihalich!!!! Advanced Orthopedic Specialists and my surgeon, Robert Mihalich, M.D. are amazing. I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee to clean up meniscus. My knee was in constant pain and I ran, I’d swell and limp for a day or two. Surgery was a good experience, but after surgery is where it is most impressive. I had almost no pain, post surgery. I walked immediately. Stairs were a slow process for 1st 2 days as mobility was restricted my minor swelling. Day 4, I had enough mobility to pedal a bike. Day 5 I did a spin class (no pain). Day 8, I ran a mile. Almost no pain or soreness. Day 13 - hard spin class, day 14 - ran 2 miles (no pain or soreness). I’m 51 years old and super pleased with my results and overall experience. I feel compelled to leave this review for Dr. Mihalich because of the extraordinary service he has provided to me. I have had the unfortunate necessity to see numerous physicians and he is a rare gem of a doctor who is patient, thorough, knowledgeable and truly dedicated to helping patients. I saw him for an ankle issue, but he looked at my whole "picture" of issues and was the first doctor who was actually willing to help me connect the dots and provide me with referrals to appropriate specialists and advice for next steps. This in itself was invaluable and is a rarity in today's healthcare environment. I am very grateful to him and his team.

I had knee surgery and Doctor and staff were great. My kids have also seen Dr. Mihalich for sports injuries and again Doctor and staff were awesome, explaining everything that we can understand.

Dr. Mihalich is great! I have had recurring ankle issues for the past 10+ years and have worked with a few other surgeons prior to him. He has always been very thorough in his explanations of the problem and all of my options (not just surgery), and he's honest about those options and the likelihood of them being helpful. He is very clear about what is going on and what to expect, which I really appreciate. He also takes the time to discuss findings/issues with family post-surgery, and ensures all questions are answered instead of rushing off to his next patient. Scoped one knee last November and did the other last week plus a meniscus tear.....(August 2017) Gretchen and his staff are really friendly and flexible and the process never mind the surgery couldn't have gone smoother.... Dr Mihalic is a low key, really attentive physician and highly recommend him.

The doctor was good but his staff needs some work. They also need updated file keeping practices. I have cancelled appointments and they charge for missed appointments. I was waiting for the doctor for way over an hour and while I was waiting the nurses were making fun of someone in the hall. I walked out. My surgery went ok though. Excellent treatment some years ago, Dr. Mihalich was engaged and willfully addressed all questions I had about my case. Painless treatment, quick recovery.

He was friendly throughout the entire process and gave me clear explanations about my problem and the possible paths to tackle it. To summarize a long bad story, Mihalich performed ankle surgery on me, did not properly close the hole causing me to get a antibiotic resistant MRSA infection in the bone, performed another surgery and failed to remove the infection. In another attempt to cure the infection, went back a year later to get the screws removed. I was out on the table for the procedure when he realized he did not have the right screw bit! Needless to say I found a new doctor and would NOT recommend Mihalich to anyone
