I’ve been there for some years. The PA Ray, has horrible bed side manners and not just on one visit but several (including one today). Other than him and how he speaks to me it used to be a pleasant office visit.

Awful, I wouldn't go back to him or his p.a. Not worth my time, I was accused of several things. They never even asked me about it. I am done with any pain management. Terrible!!!!!!

Love Dr. Menzies, office staff and phone service are truly the worst I have ever encountered. Have reported this to doc before and it still continues to be awful!! Paula

Dr. Menzies A.K.A "Sawbones " is a dear friend and one of the best doctors ive had or seen in years . i have a very unique medical issue that him and only him helps me with . He has never turned me away nor judged me and is always treated me with the upmost respect and aswell as i treat him the same . This man with his wounderful assistant "christy" treat me as if im family. He is one of the best F**KING doctor in the world . My friend and doctor staff "sarah" is a sweet heart and has to see me every time im in . she makes it a point to hug me and treat me as if im family she will give me time to talkabout life . My team of doctors are the best , never mind the people who complain about they do this or that . This crew has always been there for me for the last 7 years . Would NOT ever trust any other doctor with what im dealing with. Sawbones , Thank you and staff for everything you do for me . I owe you more than i could ever pay you . Dr. Robert Menzies and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They are very kind and considerate in their time with the patients. The surgical center they use on St.Louis Street is very clean and well organized.

I can't say enough good about the PA Ray Shoulders, Dr Menzies and the staff! I have been seeing Shoulders for almost 3 years due to a complication that occurred during surgery from another Dr, not associated with Southwest Sports and Spine. Shoulders makes this horrible situation better by treating me with respect. He truly cares about his patients! I work in healthcare as well, and refer patients often. He is by far the best pain management Doctor in Texas!! I have been going to him for several years. He is professional, friendly and knowledgeable!

Dr. Menzies is the best pain management doctor I have ever had. He TRULY cares about his patients. He has an amazing bedside manner, is willing to think outside the box and has no trouble going the extra mile. I don't feel like a number or a statistic in his clinic. I have a face and a name. His occupation is more than just a job for him and the medical profession needs so much more of this! He validates your experience--whatever it is--and cares about your quality of life beyond the office visit. Chronic pain patients are often dismissed and invalidated by physicians and staff and often treatment is not individualized and complaints fall on deaf ears. Not here. They are truly interested in giving you a reason to go on. I am beyond grateful for his skills and his services. Christi, his medical assistant is competent and personable. The others I have dealt with on the staff have been kind and caring and get the job done. I have never had a long wait in the office or for a procedure.

I have been using Dr Menzies for about 10 years. He is an excellent and very knowledgeable physician. Nothing but the best! However, the office staff and procedures are quite lacking in professionalism. If it were not for the care I receive there, I would search for another physician.

I was referred to Dr. Menzies office by my orthopedic doctor after my spinal fusion due to extensive nerve pain in my foot. I met with his PA, Mr. Shoulders. First thing he requested was Xrays of my foot. I go to the imaging place for the Xray, which I completed. The next dsy I received a call the next day that Mr. Shoulders FORGOT to ask for the ankle to be Xrayed as well. Now considering walking hurts you can only imagine the pain I felt having to drive back to the imaging place. Then the next day he stated he was referring me to a podiatrist. I gave it time for the orders to go through but never heard from the podiatrist. I then decided to call the dr myself. They had not received any fax from the dr. So I call back and tell them the podiatrist had no referral. I called the podiatrist again....no referral. This went back and forth all afternoon. Then my husband tried to intervene abd he too got the run around. I did receive a call today.....the Monday after yhat Friday's fiasco. It wasn't even a dr Dr. Menzies office never told me about but had my husband. Anyway they had received my husband's call but had never received a fax for a referral. Very caring and professional staff! I have been seeing Dr. Menzies and Co for over a year. I find this practice to be a cut above the rest.

Dr. Menzies is a wonderful Dr. ,however, the office staff is so horrible that I am now in search for another Dr. They are very rude! I have been working to get the medication that was prescribed on the 12th of this month the female that answered refuse to transfer me to a nurse's vm claiming they don't have vm, i left a message on the 11th. She said she would take a message but continued to interrupt about a balance that on the 12th I was advised was $30 & I paid it.

Dr. Menzies is a corrupt doctor who I've informed about a patient of his, Diane Charlene King, who sells her pain medications to another cancer patient, but he apparently has no problem with that and allows it to continue. This place needs to be shut down for good and those doctors - Menzies and Simmons need to go to jail. Dr. Steven Simmons billed my insurance company for work he never performed. .....this place is TROUBLE! Donna and Dr. Menzies are AMAZING. I am always in and out, very professional and caring. I highly recommend this office. Very nice and courteous all the way through.

I have seen Dr. Menzies since he joined the practice a few years back. He and his staff are responsive and I never feel rushed. Most pain management doctors will write at least 100's of Rx's a week for controlled meds. This necessitates good record-keeping and patient follow up. Dr. Menzies, and his nursing staff at SW Sports and Spine are conscientious and record everything apposite to the patient's care and the medico-legal hoops that keep growing under the Affordable Care Act. Worst office staff and doctor EVER!!!! The fact that he associates with JPS is enough said. If he is so good then he needs to be doing surgery at Harris Hospitals Only people who do business with JPS are on the low grade of the toad em pole.

Dr. Menzies and Donna are both Amazing. It took me a while researching doctors but once i found this one, i knew i was in great hands. I never have to wait, they remember me and even hug me. This is a GREAT DOCTORS OFFICE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I see Dr. Menzies for Pain Management for my Fibromyalgia. He is thorough and he listens to my concerns. He is an incredible doctor.
