I am a hand surgeon and live in Los Angeles where there are 45 hand surgeons. I come to San Fran for Dr Markinson for my carpal tunnel. Yes he is that good be prepared to be impressed with a skilled kind surgeon

Excellent surgeon. One of the few I truly Trust.

If you have any hand issues, do not waste your time with any other hand surgeons. Dr. Markison is a genius! He is also very personable and funny. He is a highly skilled hand surgeon, and the absolute best. I have had two surgeries performed by him, a CMC joint arthroplasty and bi-lateral ultra sound guided carpal tunnel releases. The CMC joint surgery and right carpal tunnel release were performed in early January of this year. My left carpal tunnel release surgery was performed last week. I had an excellent outcome from my right hand surgeries, and so far I'm looking to have an excellent outcome from my latest surgery. Words cannot express my gratitude to this kind and multi-talented physician, who is also an accomplished artist and musician.

Dr. Markison MD is the most intelligent, remarkable doctor that I have ever met.He explains everything that's wrong with you and the best way to repair it. He is a great surgeon and cares about the visible outcome of the surgery. No one could tell I had the surgery because there was no scar. He could work on any part of the body, because I believe he continues to learn and explore! Thank you Dr Markison! You are the Best!!

I am an artist. I was devestated when I was told I had a radial sagital band rupture in my left hand and needed surgery. I was referred to Dr. Markison. I recommend you make an appointment with doctor Markison before you make any decisions. I like his approach, he is conserative, creative,knows what it takes to heal, and .treats each case individually due to your personal circumstances. We've avoided surgery! I've painted over 40 paintings since the injury.
