Robert F. Marcum

Dr Marcum is very knowledgeable, professional and polite and will go beyond to help you. As well as his staff. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a good doctor.

The clinic is not good place, but Dr. Marcum is worse. The Doctor is not very forthcoming with answering your questions and seems to always be in a hurry. Also when he is backed up (I sat for 30 minutes past my appointment time and was told it would be 50 more minutes to see him) with appointments his staff doesn't bother to tell you you will have a extended wait to see him. You can not get the results of your tests unless you wait how ever long it takes to see him about the results. If you are not happy with him as your Doctor the clinic will not allow you to switch to another Doctor. Just a update since I had a complaint with Dr Marcum I received a letter today I will no longer be able to see any Doctors at Blue Ridge Medical to go find a Doctor some place else. I became a patient of Dr. Marcin after being hospitalized with multiple embolisms. I was under Dr. Marvin's care for over a year and was very happy with the care I received. I moved out of state in July 2016 but would and at this time I am only under the care of my Primary Care provider as I do not need a Pulmonologist at this time.

He cares about his patents by coming to the Hospital each day to check on them instead of depending just on the Hospital Dr. and pays attention to the details of you issue.
