Stay Away!! This man destroyed my foot! He has no malpractice insurance! Many law suits were dropped due to that, & he owns nothing! Please do not let this man touch you. My new Dr has had multiple people go to him to try & fix what he did....!

Just left the office after a bunionenctomy. The office is professional, modern and very calm. The doctor is pleasant and very caring. He provided lots of information after care products all in a very sophisticated and courteous manner. It was an amazing experience.

I had my bunion surgery about a month ago and just love my result. Dr. Kirell operated on my foot in his super clean office and took out my bunion without having to cut me open! He made a little drill hole in my bunion and just squeezed it out. Amazing! I didn’t have a big cut or stitches and have been walking and driving right from the start. I highly recommend this surgery over going into a hospital with pins and screws.

I recently had my bunion surgery by Dr. Kirell and had a terrific experience! The doctor originally recommended I seek other consults after I first sought his help. I took his advice and went to 2 other surgeons to see what they would advise. Both surgeons were basically going to do the same operation..one in a hospital and the other in a surgical center. Both were going to put screws in my foot and both told me no walking or driving for about a month. Neither of them would even tell me that Dr. Kirell’s puncture surgery even existed even though Dr. Kirell told me it was ethically wrong for a doctor to hide treatments from the public. I had Dr. Kirell operate on me in his office with just novacaine. I had no stitches or scars and was immediately walking in a small surgical shoe without any crutches. It’s still crazy that these other doctors don’t learn these new procedures and continue to make their patients suffer for months.

My consultation for bunion surgery with Dr. Kirell was extremely informative. The Dr. took his time to explain traditional surgery and the surgery he specializes in. I did not want to be under general anesthesia and could not afford to be off my foot for a month like other surgeons wanted. I had very little pain after my surgery and have no scars on my foot! I just loved not having any stitches or screws in my foot and being able to walk, climb stair and drive immediately. Great surgeon!

This was was nicest and most competent surgeon I’ve ever met. Dr. Kirell gave me a thorough exam and fully explained my problems and his procedures. The office was extremely clean with a very pleasant staff. I met with other surgeons who also said they perform minimal incision surgery but I didn’t feel giving me a long incision with stitches and screws was minimal. Dr. Kirell removed my bunions without cutting me open. I had no stitches and no screws put into my feet. I was walking and drove right away! I highly recommend this surgeon especially if you don’t want to be out of commission for any length of time.

I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Kirell. After years of being scared to have my bunions removed because of all the horror stories people told me about I had Dr. Kirell operate on my feet. It was so great to have it done in his office and not having to be put asleep. I didn’t have any scars or incisions in my feet, not even any stitches. I walked out of his office without crutches and wore cut open sneakers. I was driving 2 days later and was back to walk within a week. Great surgeon!

I recently had my bunions removed by this great doctor. I was so surprised that no other doctors were using his technique. I was told it’s been around since 1965 and invented here on Long Island. I didn’t have to have any blood tests or get clearance from my primary physician. I didn’t need to go to a surgical center or hospital and didn’t get any stitches in my foot just tiny holes. My pain was minimal and walked out without crutches. All I can say is wow!

My foot was operated upon last month and my recovery has been real easy. My local foot doctor never told me about Dr. Kirell’s procedure…why? This other doctor was going to operate on me in a hospital using general anesthesia and because he was going to put a plate with 3 screws in my foot told me I wouldn’t be driving for 3 weeks and needed a scooter! I had no screws in my foot and drove the next day. I can’t thank the person that referred me enough!

After many consults with orthopedists and podiatrists i had a consult with Dr. Kirell. He fully explained his procedure to correct my ugly bunions and that he would perform the surgery in his office using local anesthesia like the dentist. I didn’t need to get any medical clearance from my internist. He removed my bunions by squeezing them out through tiny holes! I had very little pain after the surgery as I had no stitches or screws in my foot. I didn’t need a cane or crutches and was walking immediately. Great doctor and highly recommend him and his technique!

My visit with this surgeon was great. He has a lovely and immaculate office and the staff was extremely helpful. I traveled over 2 hours for my consult because a patient of his told me of their wonderful experience; mostly surgery in his office while awake and no long incisions or pins in my foot. My surgery was 2 months ago and even though my foot is still a little swollen it looks and feels great. I asked around and couldn’t find any other surgeons performing this technique…other doctors should try to learn from him!

My visit with this surgeon was excellent. He explained my condition and all the treatment options and even recommended I consult with other doctors to compare procedures! I had my bunion and heel spur removed without being cut open and no stitches. I was awake and watched his TV during the surgery. I was walking right after the surgery with minimal pain. I highly recommend this procedure and surgeon!

Think about why he isn't affiliated w/any hospitals. Also why he dispenses medications. He makes a lot of money on the backs of poor desperate people. My daughter had so much pain in her heels. The office was closed an dr kirell went out od his way to meet us there and help her... He wad I patient and caring. Highly recommend such an amazing place. Really appreciated what he did.

My visit/surgery with Dr. Kirell was great! I am so thankful to the nurse in my internist’s office that referred me. I was always scared in having bunion surgery because of all the horrible things i heard about the recovery. Dr. Kirell did his surgery in the office where I had a few injections, that were not too bad, and I was able to walk out of his office with no stitches, no scars and no crutches. I can once again wear my shoes without pain! I wish i had heard of this bunion technique years ago!

Dr. Kirell is a doctor's doctor!!! They fly in from around the globe for his care. What a man! Dr. Robert Kirell walks the extra mile for his patients. He truly cares. From the front door where you are greeting by a friendly office manager through your treatment, you are shown the utmost care and concern. I highly recommend Dr. Kirell.

Dr. Kirell was great! The procedure on my foot was great! I have no scars and no pins or screws in my foot. i was awake for the surgery performed in his office and walked out in my sneakers. I was able to drive in a couple of days. I recommend Dr. Kirell to anyone contemplating bunion surgery and doesn’t want general anesthesia or a long scar on their foot.

I was referred to Dr. Kirell by another very happy patient of his i met in a shoe store. I was told how he was the only doctor in the NY area capable of correcting bunions by using little skin punctures. My bunion was removed last month in his office while i was awake and i walked out using my sneaker that was slit open! I had hardly any pain after the surgery probably as the doctor explained because I wasn’t cut open! Great procedure and lovely surgeon!

If you desire foot surgery without having any screws or stitches in your foot then this is the doctor to go to!!!

Dr. Kirell is a fantastic foot surgeon! He removed my painful bunions by making a couple of little punctures in my feet and ground up my hard bones into soft mush and then squeezed everything out through the little holes. He didn't have to cut me open and therefore I had no stitches or screws in my feet and didn't need general anesthesia. Other doctors I consulted with told me this technique wouldn't work...but it was great and I was back working and driving in a week. Great doctor and great experience!

I give this doctor and his practice 5 stars! His office was beautiful and his staff extremely helpful. This surgeon operated on me while I was awake in his office and fixed my problems using a dental type drill. I had no incisions and walked out of the office wearing sneakers he was able to turn into a sandal. I needed no cast or crutches. This is the doctor to seek out if you don't want to be hospitalized and don't want ugly scars.

I was searching for years for a surgeon who was able to remove my horrible bunions but I couldn't take off 6 weeks from work and needed to take care of my family and be able to drive. A friend of a friend referred me to Dr. Kirell and he was a miracle worker! I had my feet operated in his lovely office while I was awake watching HGTV. The surgeon didn't need to put in any stitches or screws in my feet and I was walking and driving right away and had very little post surgery pain. I can't understand why other doctors don't perform this surgery or even mention it as an option to hospital surgery with the long scars. Great doctor!

My experience with this foot and ankle surgeon was great! Dr. Kirell removed all my bunions in his beautiful office and without using any stitches and without any long scars! The doctor used a dental type instrument and made little holes in my feet and squeezed my bunions out like playdoh. I didn't need any crutches or surgical shoes after the surgery and was able to drive 2 days later. Great surgeon!!!

A friend of mine had used Dr. Kirell and nothing but great things to say. She was able to walk out of the office the same day as her procedure. I had bunions for decades and my friend recommended Dr. Kirell. I couldn't be happier. Just like her, I was able to walk out of the office the same day, no screws or anything in my foot. If you have bunions, or any foot issues go to Dr. Kirell. He's a great doctor, but also makes you feel very calm and explains everything he does very thoroughly. Just a great experience all around.

I went to Dr. Kirell 3 months ago after being referred by a colleague who also saw Dr. Kirell and had her bunions removed. I’m glad he was the doctor I went with. The surgery took place in his office and I was able to walk out in normal shoes on the same day. No stitches, no crutches, and best of all no pins or screws in my feet. Looking forward to having my other foot done as well. Dr. Kirell was very comforting and answered every question I had and made me feel very good about the procedure.

Perfect (and I rarely use that word).

This was the procedure, I was in pain for almost 2 years n it looks worse then when I went there !! Just went and had my foot redone !! I was told my foot had been broken in many places n may never have feeling in some toes again !!! Run run don't go here

Dr. Kirell is an amazing foot surgeon! I had my both my bunions operated upon without having any long incisions, stitches or screws in my feet. I was awake the whole time while watching TV. No other doctor said they could remove my bunions through a little puncture in my skin and they all wanted me in a hospital where they were going to put a plate and screw in my big toe. I was able to drive the next day and had very little pain after.

I had very painful bunions for years. I heard of Dr. Kirell from a co worker's friend who told me she had bunion surgery by Dr. Kirell. I called the office and made an appointment for a free consultation. I was told what was needed to be done. I had the surgery on both feet and experienced very little discomfort and went back to work a week. It's been a year now and my feet feel and look great! I recommend Dr. Kirell to anyone who needs bunion surgery. He is great!

He ruined both of my feet , have to get redone , plus I have no feeling in either of my feet , I would sue but it be worth it ????

Dr Kirell ruined my foot. I have had 2 reconstruction surgeries to try to repair it. My toes had to be shortened since the bone was not connected on my big toe. I have two different size feet now making it impossible to get shoes. I was told by my dr at hospital for special surgery that I will never be able to walk more than one block without pain . I cannot walk one step without pain. Don't try to sue him because they do not have malpractice insurance. btw, I did not have a bunion; its arthriti

Struggled for a couple of weeks but it was worth it.. No more years of painful bunion!! And was able to wear my regular shoes within 6 to 8 weeks!! I recommend furry slippers with no backs.. I'm thrilled my insurance paid for the majority of my surgery because it was out of network. It covered almost completely all.. Planning to go back for my other foot!! The doctors are great.. Funny, caring and thorough.. Love!!!

Just had it done yesterday as I sit here now with frozen peas for my 20 minute cold therapy and foot elevated, and am very happy ! No pain,walking ,cleaning and tomorrow able to drive local. Must say, after the horror stories you hear about getting bunion surgery, these doctors are who you should use with this method! I drove from Staten Island,NY since I was highly recommended and I will be back for other foot. They have wonderful bed side manners , great sense of humors, you will feel at home!

I have had surgery by Drs. Kirell and Weisenthal and could not be more delighted in the results. After I came out of the free consultation in which the doctor gave me a thorough examination of my feet and described in great detail the surgery which needed to be performed, I was able to speak to a few patients in the waiting room. I asked them how was the surgery compared to what they were originally told. Each person said that the experience was just as the doctors said it would be. There were no surprises. All said they had a great time during the surgery and after the surgery, had no pain. They were immediately able to walk and bathe and within 2 weeks, go back to work. One lady said she had one foot done by the conventional method and after all the pain, humongous and very ugly scars, not being able to work for months or bathe for weeks after the surgery, she vowed never to have the other foot done. She heard about these doctors from a friend of hers and was so impressed by what she heard, she thought she'd give it a try. She said she was absolutely glad she had the other foot done by Drs. Kirell and Weisenthal. Those reports by these patients convinced me to make the appointment to have the surgery. I was extremely amazed that I experienced only minor discomfort after the surgery and never needed any pain medication. It is now a year after my surgery and my foot looks thin again and feels great! Basically, I had a wonderful experience with these surgeons and highly recommend them. If you are considering getting the surgery done by these doctors go now because there is a wait between the initial consultation and when the surgery can be performed due to the massive positive response to these doctors and the surgery they perform.
