Dr. Robert Khalil

Dr. Khalil abandoned the treatment of my 10 year old son. It appears he didn’t like his practice to be challenged and preferred to leave a 10 year old child in a state of physical risk than engage in an adult conversation. A complaint is being filed with the medical board as well as a malpractice suite being filed. For the wellbeing of you and those you care for, steer clear of this practice.

Dr. Khalil did a complete disservice to my son, left him in a terrible state, and then refused to treat him. Might want to wait until the outcome of the malpractice lawsuit and Medical Board review of the complaint before engaging with this practice

I refer clients to Dr. Khalil all of the time! He really cares about his patients and takes the time to really understand the underlying issues and treats them accordingly! He’s great!

Dr. Khalil has been my psychiatrist for almost 7 years now and I couldn't ask for a better mental healthcare provider. He is the only doctor I have ever had that I believe is truly invested in my wellbeing. His compassion and understanding has helped me through so many rough patches. I highly recommend Dr. Khalil.

I've been seeing Dr khalil for over a year, he's very knowledgeable, hes always cared about how my life is going, making sure I'm doing well. If I need him at any time, he is there for me. The staff is great as well! I haven't had one bad visit, he's a amazing doctor.

Dr. Khalil has been my provider for years. He is extremely knowledgeable and understanding. I don't know where I'd be today without his help.

Dr.Khalil has changed my life. His top priority is always to have me as healthy and informed as possible. He is extremely knowledgable and is a terrific man morally speaking. I had a long time trying to find someone so helpful, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Since we started meeting a little over a year ago, I have improved mentally to a level I could have never imagined. Thank you Doctor Khalil, you're an amazing doctor and a am so grateful for you working with me constantly and showing me scientific data so I can make my own decisions prior to any recommendations.

Such awful experience, would never recommend him to anyone. I’ve been seeing Dr Khalil for almost 7 months. He seems to be very detached and have been absent at the times. Very unprofessional, getting paid is only thing that he was ever concerned rather than helping people.

I saw Dr. Khalil for around 18 months. When I first met him (was recommended from a friend) I thought he was an amazing psychiatrist who actually cared and had a good understanding of ADHD and addiction. As time went on he became very unprofessional and even unethical. Multiple times he would be unreachable for weeks at a time and "accidentally" forget to call in my scripts. I would text and call explaining the scripts didnt go through and he would blatantly ignore me or even forward my calls. Mind you this is after seeing him for over a year. Not what you want or expect from a mental health professional. Meanwhile never forgetting to charge my CC on file the $250 though right after the visit or phone session. He makes most of his money pumping out suboxone to all the drug clinics all over CT and couldn't care about his actual patients. This guy should not have a medical license. I would like to say to anybody looking for a psychiatrist that has tried so long to find somebody that connects with them, I have found somebody no matter what age you truly are he understands the dynamics of mental and physical attributes within an individual. He blew my mind away when he knew what was wrong with me within the first five minutes I talked to him. I highly recommend anybody with issues that have been looking for somebody that really knows what they are doing, he will explain it to you in a sense that you cannot fathom, but will be enlightened. He is not by the book, he learns by interacting with his patients and understands. For anybody having real, real issues, and need real understanding with your children or your own issues, I highly recommend giving him a chance.You will not be disappointed. Dr. Khalil is thoughtful, knowledgable, and extraordinarily well versed in medicine. He takes his time in sessions and is availible whenever I have needed him. All of his treatment is individualized. I cannot ask for more in a doctor. He is the only psychiatrist that I ever recommend.

Dr. Khalil is the reason my 14 yo daughter is alive. We’ve been beyond blessed to have found him & have been with him for almost 2 yrs now. After seeing several other “professionals” who never properly diagnosed her, prescribed wrong meds & constantly sent her to e.r.s for self harming & suicidal ideation without trying to get to the cause of her incapacitating depression, from the time I found Dr. K & left msg, he called me himself immediately, scheduled appt within a day or 2, & he blew me away w/his compassion, professionalism & thoroughness. He dx her w/bipolar depression, found an enzyme deficiency responsible for metabolism probs w/certain meds, just for starters! His personality is amazing, my daughter looks forward to seeing him & we both adore him. Anytime, no matter where he may be, including driving, Dr. Khalil is ALWAYS available for her. To say he goes above & beyond for his patients is a huge understatement. I obviously trust him with her life because he’s a HUGE reason why I still have her. Dr. K even constantly asks about my many medical issues & truly takes the time to listen to me & will offer to change an appt from in person to by phone THE DAY OF just to make it convenient for US. R you going to call him yet?? Dr. Khalil is the Neuropsych you never dreamed existed. His staff is just as amazing. I’ll forever be grateful to him for everything he does for my daughter. Dr. Khalil is one of, if not the best psychiatrist I have ever encountered throughout my times. He is incredibly intelligent, very hands on and interactive with his patients and overall a genuinely caring and understanding individual. He has helped me through so much personally, and though I rather not disclose my case, he has allowed me to rethink my entire future. With his help, I have been able to accomplish so much more throughout both my career and life as a whole; I have managed to exceed even my own expectations and those of my peers with his involvement in my life. With that said, I would recommend him above all others to anyone in need of an amazing psychiatrist or even a therapist. Dr Khalil is the best Physciatrist I’ve ever dealt with. Compassionate, very knowledgeable and very worth having him as my Physciatrist.

Dr Bob is truly a unique provider in the days of the all too familiar “ten minute medication prescription writing!” He listens. He is thoughtful. His approach to care is holistic in that he thoroughly investigates all his patients’ medical AND psychosocial symptoms.

Dr Khalil is a great doctor. Very detailed with any session and he genuinely seems like he cares and wants to help / find out what can help his patients. He blocked out three hours for me just to give me enough time to really explain myself and for him to fully understand what was going on. He has a sense of humor but is very acute and sharp. His working area has snacks, coffee, drinks, etc. Overall, a very great doctor and a good person to talk to. Best doctor I've ever met.
