Dr. Hoffman is an amazing surgeon and so very caring. He made me feel valued and important. His staff has been so helpful and made my whole process so easy. Doing all my paperwork ahead of time made my experience less time consuming. Thank you Robert Hoffman and staff for all your help.

Dr Hoffman repaired my inguinal hernia in October 2020 in the midst of the Covid19 pandemic. I can’t say enough about the precautions and professional courtesies extended by him and the office staff throughout the entire process. On my initial visit, he provided a very detailed and easily understandable explanation of the procedure and post-operative expectations. Surgery was scheduled a few weeks later. Upon admission to the hospital, I appreciated the time he took to review the procedure and answer all my questions. I was very reassured and ready to go. The follow-up care was perfect. I worked in healthcare operations for 40 years and can say that my experience left me extremely impressed with his skill and compassion. I highly recommend him for anyone needing surgery. I requested to leave another healthcare facility to be taken to Banner Thunderbird after finding out that I needed to have my appendix removed. Best decision I have ever made! Dr. Hoffman and the OR nurses were kind, professional, CARING and prompt. I was very nervous for surgery and they made me feel prepared, comfortable and helped me through the entire process. Dr Hoffman performed my umbilical hernia surgery six months ago in T-Bird Outpatient Surgery. I had a successful surgery and have had no ill effects from the surgery. I will recommend Dr Hoffman to all family and friends. Hernia was large (1-2 inches) with no complications. Dr Hoffman provided robotic and laparoscopic recommendation and answered all my questions during pre-op visit and provided understandable pre-op instructions. Surgery center, Anesthesiologist and Dr Hoffman performed surgery without issue and I was standing/walking around by late afternoon (and only used 3 of the prescribed painkillers day one to ensure some painless sleep and none thereafter). After 8 weeks per instructions- golfing, hiking, tennis, etc and never think about surgery area. Completely successful experience.

Dr. Hoffman performed my gallbladder removal surgery in April 2019. He is an amazing doctor, his bed side manners are the best I've ever seen. He took his time explaining the procedure both pre-op and post-OP to my family. So when I needed hernia surgery he was my first choice, the successful surgery was done this week. I was in for an umbilical hernia repair the first week in August. Then in the first week of September I returned for an inguinal hernia repair. Dr. Hoffman was extremely personable and understanding , very kind and caring. He took as much time as needed to answer any questions I had, and explained what to expect before, during, and after surgery. I can't say enough good things about him. I would recommend him to anyone. His staff was also amazing.

Dr. Hoffman is an amazing surgeon. I recently had to get my gallbladder removed, and he made the whole experience a lot less stressful. He explained how the procedure goes, what to expect during recovery, and answered all of my questions respectfully and in a way that made total sense. If you have to get a surgery, he is a great surgeon to go with as he does a fantastic job. I highly recommend him.

I was admitted to Banner Thunderbird for gallbladder surgery where I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Hoffman!???? He is a ????????very...kind,caring,and compassionate doctor talks to you explains what procedures he's going to do!????Makes you feel very comfortable????Awesome beside manners you just don't see much of anymore!!
