I have been going to Dr. Davidson for almost 10 years now. My family and I have had nothing but excellent service from him and his staff! Definitely recommend

First visit took care of my problem immediately professionally very very understanding man I’m already made my next appointment and changing my dentist in the wall and joy going to him and I really don’t like Dentist

Been going to Dr. Bob for over 20 years. So compassionate, caring, and down to earth . Wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

Great office with skylights so you can watch nature while getting your teeth cleaned. Hygienists are friendly and thorough. Dr. Davidson is great and one of the coolest dentists I’ve met.

Dr. Bob is the best dentist ever. I had some really bad experiences with others in the past so I have not visited a dentist in years. He and his staff were very kind and informative. Not judgemental like some.

It was the best time in your very uncomfortable chair, all good people always!

Dr. Bob makes me completely at ease. He does excellent work but keeps an eye on cost.

Very professional,and clean. I had an emergency. And I am a new patient they went out of their way to squeeze me in. Very grateful.

Best dentist I have ever had! Detailed, caring, pain free!

Great Dentist, team and services! Laidback attitude is a relief to see and hard to find these days with providers. The relationship feels genuine and honest and not your typical "cookie cutter" type of relationship you find in most facilities these days. His staff are friendly and helpful along the way. If you're looking for great services, cleanly office, and genuine people who care about you and wellbeing this is the place to go! Trust me I have been to a lot of different Dr's offices whether medical or dental and the relationship is like a wall..you don't feel heard like you do here! These people genuinely want to help you be your best and willing to work with you to overcome your fears! I was in search of a new dentist in the area for my children and I. I have been in Elburn for a long time now and thought I should try someone local. I called Dr. Davidson’s office to schedule appointments and establish ourselves as new patients. I was on the phone with the office for 20 minutes repeating my information, giving my insurance information repeatedly (sounded like they were confused about my BCBS insurance), and was finally told that I would get a call back to schedule the appointments. 3 weeks go by, it was the holidays so I gave it some grace. I called back, and was told that they are going to call my insurance now and call me back in 10 minutes. Frustrating. This is 3 weeks later!! I never got a call back. I call back a few hours later, and then was told I was being transferred, and got hung up on. This will happen, but they never called me back. Mess of an office. Never got to even see the dentist or make an appointment so I am not reviewing the dentist or his work. Called another place in Sugar Grove and was on the phone for under 5 minutes giving our information and had appointments the same week in under 5 minutes. Dr. Bob is very caring and responsive, and I would highly recommend. His office staff are always very nice and do all they can to help you.

I have had Dr. Davidson make whitening trays for me and go to his office for cleanings. He has always been honest and informative when I have questions. I have a stained, old filling that needs to be replaced and I trust him to do this work properly. The old filling is in a front tooth and very visible. He has stated the amount of care he takes in color matching and shaping to assure a natural look. I’m very happy with his office. Worst Dentist ever ! I had a filling replaced by Dr Davidson (that probably did not really need to be but the stupid dentist convinced me it was, since then several dentists have told me they would nit have replaced it when there are no issues from it) within a few hours after leaving the office I was in severe pain, went back in and said they could not find anything wrong, ended up having 3 root canals within the next few months because the pain just would not stop - and it still didn’t so they were not needed either - the root canal dr. finally suspected that I had Trigeminal Neuralgia and referred me to a neuro who did an MRI and did indeed diagnose me with TN - which is a horrible condition, google it. It has been 8 years and I suffer from this condition every single day from the nerve damage done by Dr. Davidson when he un-necessarily replaced that filling. Do yourself a huge favor and pick a different dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Bob Davidson for the last few years and up until the last few months I have been very happy with the service and kindness of the staff there. Over the last few years I have had terrible sensitivity to one of my upper back teeth, and have been dealing with this with Dr. Bob for sometime now. He has tried grinding the points of my teeth down several different times, I paid out-of-pocket $500 for a night guard mouthgard, as he told me I was PROBABLY grinding my teeth at night, I have been using Sensodyne toothpaste for two years, and have had absolutely no relief. Each time I went in for my six month check ups I made it known that I still had the same, unchanged sensitivity to that same tooth. All throughout this time, Dr. Bob and I were both on the same page about which tooth I was talking about. We were always addressing the same tooth. In February of this year, Dr. Bob and I had a conversation about how we were going to move forward to address the sensitivity I was having on this tooth. He told me that he was submitting it to insurance to get approval for a crown for that tooth to make my sensitivity improve. We had a very clear, mutually understood conversation about this at that time. I got a pretreatment estimate from insurance stating that they approved and would pay part of the bill. (I still paid around $500 for my portion.) I went in, had the procedure done, and had a temporary crown placed on the tooth until my permanent crown came in. Later that day after I had that procedure, once my numbness faded, I felt the area with my tongue and noticed that Dr. Bob had worked on a different tooth than we had originally talked about and a different tooth than I had been complaining about for the last few years. I called the office immediately, leaving a message, but unfortunately it was a Friday night so they did not call me back until Monday afternoon. I was upset the entire weekend about this. I kept going over the situation in my head multiple times trying to figure out where this all went wrong. Dr. Bob even tested my teeth before starting the procedure and clearly pointed out the tooth that had the most sensitivity. When Dr. Bob’s assistant called me back Monday afternoon, She spoke to me in a manner that was taking the situation very lightly, when I was clearly very upset in my message. I started to explain the situation to her but she handed the phone off to the doctor. Dr. Bob got on the phone and seemed very angry. He was defensive and said that I was the one who was mistaken. He made me feel terrible. I’ve never been spoken to by a healthcare professional in the manner that he spoke to me . He made me feel stupid and incompetent. Basically at the end, he told me he would make it right and that he would “comp”me for the work he had done and to have me come in once the permanent crown came in, And that he would address the issue. I waited about two weeks and went back to have the permanent crown placed. When I was in the office that day Dr. Bob and I were not on the same page. He was not listening to me or giving me any time to talk whatsoever. I kept telling him he was not understanding what I was saying and he was speaking to me like I was a complete idiot. He did not make it right and made me feel like I had misunderstood the situation all along. He did not “comp” me for what I still believe was the wrong job, and he talked in circles, saying totally irrelevant things until I gave in and stopped fighting. I was even crying most of the time. This is not the kind of person that I want taking care of me. I am so disappointed and still so upset about this situation. I still continue to have terrible, uncomfortable sensitivity to the same tooth that was never fixed or addressed. I will not be returning to Dr. Bob’s office and I do not recommend him to anyone. They handled the situation so unprofessionally and definitely did not make customer service/mitigation a priority. I will be attending a new dentist after this, and hopefully they can help me in a way Dr. Bob did not even attempt to. Dr. Davidson is second to none when it comes to dentistry. He took care of all my needs in a timely fashion and took care of urgent matters right away if need be. I have sent many family members and friends to Doc and he has been nothing short of exceptional! Thanks again!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bob for over 20 years. He is professional, honest and trustworthy. Before him, I had been to several other dentists. I have a tricky mouth to work on and I am a difficult patient. I have had a lot of work done over the years before Bob. After seeing him and replacing the old stuff my mouth feels better than ever. I was recommended to Dr. Davidson because I was new to the area and in search of a good dentist. I visited him for the first time and I had a cleaning, x-rays, and a thorough exam, so he could take a thorough assessment of my teeth. Luckily all was well after a routine cleaning. I was very happy with my first experience at with him and will definitely continue to go there for any dental work I may need! Very.professional and courtious. Flexable hours, week days and weekends.

Davidson is a scam artist and con-man. His "techniques" are not real and he makes up problems to solve costing his clients thousands of dollars. I read a review on rip off report about him that is spot on. He did the same thing to me and my family and I would avoid him at all costs!!

Davidson is a fraud and con artist. I recently read a review that mentions a dye he uses and the frequency of "cavities" he discovers. Dentists I have spoken to think he is a joke and should not be practicing. I don’t want other people to fall prey to this deceptive practice. Enamel is very important and once it is gone it takes a long time to grow it back. In the meantime you have weaker teeth that create issues for cracking, bacteria, etc.! Do not go here!! Find another option!!!

Great office! Beautiful location and office, staff are friendly and laidback. The doctor has gone over and beyond to take the time to answer all my questions and will even stay later or come in past office hours to assist any emergencies I have. I don’t know any other doctor who would come in at midnight to fix my front broken teeth after a fall I had. Greatly appreciated to have found someone who truely cares about his patients and does great work!

Very friendly office staff. wonderful insurance knowledge, able to work within insurance max. benefits. I hate going to the dentist and this is the only office I have felt comfortable at.
