Amazing,very caring doctor who's the upmost in his bedside manner and how he truly cares for his patients. My Mom had a horrible experience with so called Dr.Fulp and he pretty much left her to die, Dr.Crous took over and even though the extent of damage caused by Fulp was irreparable, Dr.Crous did his very best and for that extreme effort, I tilt my hat to this gentleman. I had four surgeries in my knee from him to find out he was only a, trauma doctor I thought he was a knee surgeon that's why I let him do all my surgeries I stayed in the hospital cuz I caught an infection I fell down in the hospital restroom right after surgery then I stayed in the hospital 4 months that's why I did not know he was not knee specialist he's on a trauma doctor are you going to the stroma incidence he's good at his work but not for knee surgery I had four surgeries in my knee from him to find out he was only a, trauma doctor I thought he was a knee surgeon that's why I let him do all my surgeries I stayed in the hospital cuz I caught an infection I fell down in the hospital … More

Dr. Crous is an amazing orthopaedic surgeon. Much more than a great surgeon, he exibited true caring for my case, which is rare. I had an infected hip transplant that needed to be removed. He took extra time, to the tune of several hours, to make sure to minimize damage to the femur when removing the titanuim shaft. He was meticulous in his actions to save as much of my bone, making it possible to attatch another successful hip as soon as the inflection has been cleared. I highly recommend Dr. Crous. Very good experience

In 2006, I had a pilon ankle fracture. My tibia, fibula, and talus were fractured. Dr. Crous was the on duty orthopedic surgeon at Valley Baptist and took care of me. Unfortunately he could not operate on me right away because of severe swelling. Also, he was not a preferred provider under my insurance. I went home the next day and searched for a dr. but could not find one to see me right away. Three weeks was the earliest. Dr Crous offered to operate on me and would take the loss on what my insurance would not pay. He put me back together and did a fantastic job. My ankle was a mess and I could have lost it. Gifted doctor and wonderfully caring staff! I appreciate that Dr. Crous fit me into his schedule! He is a man of few words but listens to his patients' needs and offers the BEST plan of treatment for them. I went in with worries, walking at a sloth's pace with horrible crutches. I walked out happy and confident and on my own two feet! Dr. Crous gave me the ability to almost immediately go back to work AND be able to go on my family vacation! I am healing VERY well. Thank you so very much!!! I realize that my situation is minor compared to the many who seek his expertise, but I KNOW he is an amazing doctor and his staff is incredible! We heard that Dr. Crous was the best orthopedic trauma surgeon in the area, and now I agree! My fiancé was in an accident and literally shattered his upper arm. The bone was in pieces. Two surgeons looked at the xrays and said we needed a highly specialized trauma surgeon for this type of complex fracture. We ended up at Doctors Hospital in Edinburg and requested Dr. Crous. All I can say is that he performed a miracle. I was amazed at what he was able to do. I trust him completely!
