I have seen dr conry several times and have always been pleased. He is quiet but an extremely smart and super doctor and has always treated me with care and respect. 5 star

First appointment went fine, (even though I thought the Dr. had no personality )but could overlook that. Second appointment was enough..they were overbooked or extremely busy that day, after waiting over 2 1/2 hours, Dr. Conry was rude, questoning me about my past (which has nothing to do with what's going on with me right now), and even stated that we hadn't been waiting that long to see him (like I was lying about the wait), all of this in front of my mother as well...he has no bedside manner..but in this time of my life dealing with cancer, is where I'm so confused, scared and I don't need a Dr. that cannot be "NICE".................at least! !!!!!!!! Dr Conry has kept my best friend alive for years after others would have given up. He IS the "Guru of Melanoma."

Drs. Marshall Urist and Robert Conry saved my life. Conry seems more introverted and can come off as aloof, but he and his staff are extremely efficient and helped me navigate scary waters. I'm glad I have him, and the 90-minute drive is worth it. Wait times rarely exceed 15 minutes, which is a huge plus.

I’m giving him 1 star because he knows what he’s doing as far as cancer goes. Unfortunately, his bedside manner is atrocious. He was rude to us during an office visit and typically rushes in and out with little time to bother with us. He seems annoyed to have to spend time with his patient answering questions during the most stressful and difficult times of one’s life. This past visit he scolded us for not being prepared for the visit when he is never prepared. Worst experience ever

Saw Dr. Conry each 2-3 months for follow up to melanoma surgery for almost one year. During this period of time I complained repeatedly about discomfort and concerns about one of the sites where lymph gland was removed. He prescribed some very expensive ointment (+$1000.00) . I contacted surgeon at UAB and he agreed to see me. After a very brief exam of site he immediately diagnosed the problem as a recurrence of the melanoma. Now at MD Anderson hopefully will recover no thanks to Dr. Conry.
