Dr. Robert D Bronstein

Well Dr. Bronstein did not seem very welcoming and or concerned with my concerns about my possible torn acl and back issues that I feel could be a result of it. Very discouraging

Dr. Bronstein is a genius. He is the best doctor who I ever had. Did a great surgery on my left knee. Everything was smooth and great. Amazing person!

Dr Bronstein may not be the most engaging doctor but he is an incredible doctor. You have to ask questions and he will take time to answer. He is an incredible surgeon & his successful surgery (a tibia plateau fracture from 6 years ago) was a life changer for me. I will be forever grateful to him. Highly recommended!

Don’t believe his website! He does not see “patients of all ages”! Having never seen my MRI or my X-rays for a torn knee meniscus, he refused to even see me for an evaluation even though I’m an active man in my 70s with slight arthritis. His refusal to see me as a patient is a form of age discrimination in my opinion! J Wynn

I have had 6 surgeries with Bronstein over the last 20 years, all sport related. There is no one else I would go to!

Dr. Bronstein is amazing! My son had his tricep almost completely ripped away from his elbow after a basketball injury and Dr Bronstien did the surgery to reattach it. My son has complete range of motion back in his arm. I can not say enough about this amazing doctor!! I will forever be grateful for what he has done for my son!!

Constantly overbooked to the point of waiting in excess of an hour to be seen. Recommended PT when I'd already done 2 rounds of PT, during which mid way through I found out by reading my MRI report on my own that there was another issue that was likely the cause and wasn't mentioned during the initial review. Absolute waste of time.

Excellent results from shoulder surgery and excellent care for my son's acl repair and meniscus tear. Great surgeon.

Dr. Bronstein was professional and very helpful in diagnosing and surgically correcting my torn ACL and miniscus in 1995. To this day, my knee has been fabulous and allows me to be VERY active and fit. I'm extremely grateful, still after 21 years, for Dr. Bronstein's excellent work! THANK YOU!

Dr. Bronstein is in my opinion the best there is in Rochester. I have had several knee and shoulder surgeries from competing in high school and collegiate sports. Now as a parent he is the only one I will take my children to! Highly recommend him!

Dr. Bronstein has done 5 knee surgeries on me. All very successful. He's the reason I can still play sports.

My daughter broke her fibula and we unfortunately were referred to Dr. Bronstein. Horrible service From the first visit- no introduction, yelling at nurse bc room was not stocked, left room whit no verbal notification. Refused to replace cast when swelling went down. My daughter two weeks into break could move her whole leg in the cast for a week and a half. I will NEVER go back to that office. What a terrible experience for a young lady. Took my son do Dr. Bronstein and he was diagnosed with Patellar issue. Recommendation was to avoid things link running and jumping with surgery as an optional approach. Was then told that participating in school PE was fine, involving running and jumping. Not sure how this makes sense? Why would you purposely cause pain to an injured ligament? Dr. says can't cause permanent damage; how is that possible, is it 100% recoverable? Why would one need surgery then if it is 100% recoverable? He did a partial meniscectomy of my right lateral meniscus in 2009. ZERO problems with it since. Would of never know the knee had a problem. Its strong, and never pain. I am 24 and play high impact soccer, and run almost every day. One of the best surgeons around, period.
